Chapter 73: Sister Whale Vs Vessel Spirit (2)

Chapter 73: Chapter 73: Sister Whale Vs Vessel Spirit (2)

The blinding golden light was followed by a giant explosion that created waves dozens of metres high.

" Foolish beast, how dare you challenge this lord." He heard the vessel spirit say. The whale sister scoffed.

" Perhaps if you had a holder things might be different, but how could a mere vessel spirit threaten me."

The ocean rose and turned into a giant mouth that seemed to devour the sky. Golden light gathered above the clouds turning into gigantic gold spear over 5 kilometres long.

The water whale mouth met the spear, there was a brief silence then Ved felt overwhelming danger all around him.

He immediately tried to dive under but he was not fast enough. A deafening sound followed, the ocean sank and the sky cracked, a world ending shockwave followed.

It displaced the water sending waves as high as hundreds of metres in every direction, the wave hit him like a sledgehammer, his body rolled underwater without any control.

He only managed to stop after being dragged by the wave for dozens of kilometres, he coughed up blood and swam back up.

Water fell from the sky like rain, dark clouds that stretched to the horizon gathered above them, thunder roared and the world grew colder.

Below them a giant vortex that reached the sea floor appeared. When everything cleared he saw both of them standing opposite each other without a single scratch on their bodies.

Sister whale stood in the air relaxed and the vessel spirit was facing her with the spear in it hand.

" I have to admit, you’re stronger than I expected beast." " Stop calling me beast you shitty old ghost, this princess has a name, Ursela, it’s Ursela."

She sounded way more immature and childlike compared to the motherly tone she had with him before.

Ved decided to retreat a bit further, as long as he can still see them it was fine, there was no reason for him to be close to this calamitous pair.

He stopped a few more kilometres away and turned his attention back to them. The vessel spirit pointed it spear at Ursela and attacked.

It body disappeared and appeared right infront of her and stabbed at her. The space seemed to bend around it tip, it cut through the air like it was a cloth, leaving a trace of bent space behind.

She met the spear with her fist, the air cracked between them even before they touched but when they did the world seemed to stop.

There was no explosion or shockwaves, the surrounding space seemed to bend around them.

Their bodies flickered and appeared somewhere else, in a blink of an eye they had already exchanged tens of thousands of blows.

Thunder continued to roar above them as the clouds grew darker, the sea vortex below them was growing wider and stronger.

As they clashed the air grew hotter then cooled down repeatedly. They moved so fast their bodies appeared to be clashing at different places at once.

The world around them shimmered, their bodies became indistinct as if he was watching them through frosted glass.

The winds picked up around them as they clashed, tornadoes that connected the sea and the sky rose like serpents, pulling and devouring all they could.

Neither of them paid any mind to this. Ursela was hit on the chest by the butt of the spear and her body shot out like lightning, she crashed through a tornado dispersing the wind and water in every direction.

Her body crashed to the sea like an exploding bomb and sent countless tons of water into the air.

Dead fish rained down from the sky, Ved grabbed a few with his strings and had a snack while watching their fight.

She shot back towards him, his spear lit up in gold and water gathered around her fist creating a gauntlet and she punched out.

The air exploded, when her fist met the spear the collision generated a shockwave so powerful it momentarily dispersed the clouds for hundreds of kilometres.

Both flew back and stabilised themselves in the air. The golden light around the spear intensified then the vessel spirit stabbed towards her.

The light shot out and transformed into a giant golden sea dragon hundreds of metres long.

The sea dragon was lifelike, it details from it eyes, clawed and horns were clear and it flew at Ursela with unparalleled might and rage.

She waved her hand and the water rose from the sea, it turned into a gigantic whale tail that slapped the dragon.

Both dragon and tail shattered, she raised both hands as if holding up a falling sky, countless tons of water rose from the sea and gathered in the sky above her.

The water turned into a giant lifelike whale that was over 20 kilometres long. It body covered the sky like a celestial body, casting a shadow so vast the world below it turned dark.

In response the vessel spirit held the spear upright infront of it, it body shined with golden light and the light poured into the spear.

It waved the spear and created dozens of dragons that danced in the air like ribbons. The world seemed to grow colder when he looked at those things.

He knew he wouldn’t be able to survive any of those abilities if he had nine lives, their auras were so powerful even the storm seemed to calm down.

Then they pointed at each other, the dragons roared and the whale sang then they clashed. The world stopped, the air and the storms stood still for a moment.

The clouds dispersed, the tornadoes disappeared and the sea became calm. Then the world was dyed blue and gold in his eyes.

A calamitous explosion followed. His ears rang from the soundwave, the sea retreated from them and created a region void of any water below them.

The resulting waves were so huge they seemed to reach the sky. ’ By Poseidon’s horse face this is some bull****.’

The wave crashed on him, he felt as if he was hit by a speeding mountain. He coughed up a mouthful of blood, even his scales cracked.

When he was able to stop himself from being dragged away, he turned his attention towards them, then he decided, he was done watching this stupid fight, it was way too dangerous.

Just as he turned around he heard them speak. " I have to admit, I underestimated you a bit little beast but I am the heavenly spear of the golden marshall, I have seen more wars and fought more battles than you have had s*** in your entire life.

If you think a child like you could defeat me without even using your true form then I will show you your foolishness."

His body turned into a golden light and grew, he grew larger and larger alongside the spear until he became a 5 kilometres tall armoured giant holding a spear so huge it was like a world holding pillar.

In response, Ursela smiled. " I’m going to punch that dirty mouth of yours you s****y old ghost."

The air shimmered behind her and something appeared, Ved opened his eyes wide when he saw this and his curiosity grew. ’ Is..is that an image?.’
