Chapter 72: Sister Whale Vs Vessel Spirit(1)

Chapter 72: Chapter 72: Sister Whale Vs Vessel Spirit(1)

Swimming around the whales were countless fish from different species. Most merely at rank 1 with a few at rank 2 and barely any rank 3.

However the only rank 1 whales were the obviously young ones. Then he felt a powerful gaze land on him causing his body to tense.

He got ready to fight then he heard a voice in his head. ’ Greetings young one.’ The voice was gentle like a caring mother’s but there was a hint of immaturity in it.

’ Do not be afraid I mean you no harm.’ Ved still did not relax. ’ What do you want?’ ’ I want nothing, I was merely curious about your peculiarities.

I sense no world essence energy from you yet your aura is so strong, not much weaker than that brat even though you seem to be an entire rank below him.’ She sounded irritated thinking about whoever that brat was.

’I’ve never met a creature as peculiar as you. I will take my leave now, be careful, the ocean is a traitorous place.’

’ Wait, why are there so many fish around you?’ Ved felt her soul sense scan around her. ’ Mmmm I don’t recall there being so many, I remember a few stuck around for protection then I suppose more came.’

’ Wouldn’t having so many of them around you just draw more predators to you?’

She laughed at him.

’ There aren’t a lot of beings foolish enough to try their luck with me kid.’ Ved believed her, she had the most powerful aura he had ever felt, even surpassing the envoy.

But her bloodline was certainly only at the heaven grade which meant she must be at a higher rank than the envoy.

Ved estimated she was atleast a rank 5, she was the first ever rank 5 he had ever seen and her aura was beyond powerful.

He was certain if they were to fight he wouldn’t even know how he died. ’ Do you wish to travel with me, I can provide you protection until you grow strong enough to protect yourself.’

Ved didnt even think about it, staying around her would expose most of his secrets plus he wouldn’t be able to hunt freely which would just stunt his growth.

So he politely declined. ’ So be it, I hope to meet again some day, maybe then you’ll satisfy my curiosity about you, until then, do not die.

Also, remember to never venture east, if you do, do not go into the territory beyond mine, the old monster who rules of that place is not as kind as I am.’

Then the sea seemed to bend around her and in only a moment she had taken all those around her to the horizon, their bodies seemed to stretch then they were gone, Ved was surprised by that speed.

No wonder he didn’t sense her aura until she was directly below him. ’ I..I don’t know where your territory end.’ He said but she was already gone and he didn’t even get to ask her name.

’ Do not venture east.’ he reminded himself, since he didn’t know where her territory ended he chose to not go east at all.

He swam west, two days later he saw something at the ocean floor and swam down to check.

It was a skeleton, a shark skeleton over a 600 metres long, he could still feel the lingering aura from it.

It made his soul shake, this thing was even more powerful than the whale but what surprised him the most was how it died.

A golden spear was imbedded in it skull, the spear was so small compared to it, it was not even long enough to reach it brain but he was certain this is what killed it.

A powerful aura eminated from the spear, it gave him the same feeling as a legendary grade bloodline he sensed from the envoy but it rank was higher.

He got confused. ’ How could a spear have a bloodline? Or rank?.’ he swam towards it then reached out to grab it, when his hand touched the spear it shook.

The runes on it body lit up and golden light spread through the ocean for dozens of kilometres then disappeared.

He was just about to relax when a voice echoed in his head ’ HOW DARE A FILTHY BEAST SULLY MY HEAVENLY BODY WITH YOUR FILTHY CLAWS , YOU DESERVE DEATH.’

The voice was so loud and powerful it made his mind shake. Then a terrifyingly powerful aura washed over him, the sea shook, clouds gathered in the sky.

He was about to turn around and run when a projection of a human in pure gold armour appeared above the spear.

" How dare a mere bea...huh?" It was about to say something then it stopped and gave him a scrutinizing look.

" Strange, you look like a beast, you have the blood of a filthy beast too yet your soul se..." "Who are you and how dare you intrude on this ladies territory?"

A voice sounded above them, they both looked up and saw a beautiful woman in a blue dress that shimmered like it was made of water.

The woman was tall, standing at over 3 metres with pale blue skin and deep blue eyes, long wavy blue hair that danced like a waterfall.

A powerful aura eminated from her body, he recognised this aura somewhere. ’ Wait, is this the whale big sister?’

His eyes opened with surprise, her transformation was insane, from something that was kilometres long to mere three metres.

Where did all that mass go, but he had no time to think about that. Her eyes were locked with the human projection and their auras clashed.

" How dare a mere beast scold this lord." " Nothing but an ownerless vessel spirit, a forgotten relic dares to call itself a lord infront of this lady."

Then her eyes turned towards him and she looked surprised. " It’s you! You should get out of here, it might not be safe for you."

The vessel spirit looked at him and nodded." Listen to the beast, I’m still curious about your situation, I wouldn’t want you to die accidentally."

He didn’t need to be told twice, he immediately turned around and swam away as fast as he could, when he was dozens of kilometres away he felt the world shake.

He turned back to look and all he saw was a blinding light.
