"What, do you feel satisfied seeing me locked up?" Ye Chen smirked coldly.
"Now that you’re in, stop trying to act all tough!" Chen Facai sneered, "Come with me now, back at the police station I’ll teach you a lesson!"
Ye Chen was transferred from the Armed Police to the hands of the police, still in handcuffs and now with shackles. Two armed officers followed behind Ye Chen, looking solemn, as if escorting a death row inmate. Ye Chen was no fool; he had allowed himself to be easily caught by the Armed Police because he had his own plan in mind. "I’m basing it on the reports from the police department! The police reports have significant discrepancies with what you’ve said!" Zheng De insisted on the information provided by the police which contradicted Mr. Liu’s version.
"Alright, alright, let me clarify this matter!" Chairman Liu finally stood up, explaining the whole story. In fact, whether Ye Chen had made a mistake or not, Chairman Liu never intended to pursue Ye Chen’s responsibility, especially since Ye Chen hadn’t committed any serious crime.
After hearing Chairman Liu, Zheng De’s face turned even redder. Finally, he lowered his head and said, "Okay, I admit I’ve only heard one side from the police department; blame it on Chen Facai being Chen Fugui’s brother, which is why this happened!"
With Zheng De’s admission of wrongdoing, the matter reached a satisfactory conclusion. The Ministry of Public Security decided to release Ye Chen; however, the announcement would have to be made by Zheng De himself. Additionally, Mr. Liu planned to personally go to the police station to request Ye Chen’s release.
