The booming sound echoed through several dormitory buildings.

She gripped her saber tightly and silently moved through the zombie horde, positioning herself behind a Tier 2 zombie.
This psychic zombie was wearing a pink nurse uniform, its skirt stained with dark blood. It still had its pink nurse's cap on.
Xu Qian moved with incredible speed, charging forward and swinging her saber.

The tip of her saber was grabbed by a dark, skeletal hand.
The zombie nurse turned its head. A piece of rotten flesh had fallen from its right cheek, revealing the white bone beneath. Its orange eyes were large, and its mouth, stretched almost to its jaw, dripped with saliva.
Ugh, so ugly.
Suddenly, a faint stinging sensation pulsed in her head.
Her eyes narrowed. She condensed her mental power into a beam and directed it towards the zombie's head, striking its crystal core and engaging in a mental battle.
Cracks began to appear in its white crystal core.
The zombie's orange eyes dimmed slightly, then erupted with an orange glow as it let out a desperate roar at her.
"Roar, roar."
An intense stench emanated from its mouth. Xu Qian turned her head away and intensified her mental power.
The surrounding Tier 1 zombies, as if receiving a command, frenziedly charged towards Xu Qian's position.
The onlookers debated amongst themselves, wondering what was happening.
Were these zombies running away on their own?
Some people, however, noticed Xu Qian and began discussing her.
A girl was heading in that direction, and she was incredibly powerful; the zombies weren't even biting her.
Mei Yuebai froze upon hearing this. A girl?
Could it be Xu Qian?
He scanned his surroundings but couldn't find her.
Mei Yuebai's face turned deathly pale. Ignoring everything else, he charged into the zombie horde, sparks of electricity crackling from his hands.
His hands didn't stop moving, electrocuting clusters of zombies wherever they were most numerous.
Zhong Yang's previously calm expression changed drastically.
Miss Xu was inside the zombie horde?
With each discharge, entire swathes of zombies fell, twitching on the ground.
Unable to find Xu Qian, Zhong Yang went to find Mei Yuebai.
"Where did Miss Xu go?"
Mei Yuebai's voice trembled slightly. "She should be inside the zombie horde."
