Chapter 193 The Moon

"..."

Upon seeing these three messages, Lin Jing was instinctively stunned for a moment, and then in the next second, she nearly threw her phone away.

She stared at the screen, frozen for a good while, before silently swallowing and turning her head to look out the dark window.

Her heart was beating very fast, the thumping sound almost drowning out the music Lan Tingting had put on in the dorm.

"Xiao Jing-chan, can I borrow your mirror?" Lan Tingting navigated around the partition between the two desks and looked towards her.

Lin Jing didn't respond.

Lan Tingting curiously leaned her head over. "What are you looking at?"

Lin Jing blinked her eyes twice rapidly. Before Lan Tingting's gaze could fall on her phone screen, she fumbled to flip the phone face down on the desk. "What?"

Lan Tingting said, "Your mirror, I need to use your mirror."

Lin Jing took the mirror and handed it to Lan Tingting.

Only after Lan Tingting sat up straight and returned to her own desk did Lin Jing pick up her phone again.

The messages Sheng Kuang had sent were still fully intact in their chat window, reminding her that everything that had just happened was not a dream.

Her heart beat even faster.

Thump, thump, as if it were trying to burst out of her body.

When she came back to her senses, she found her palms covered in a thin layer of sweat.

She couldn't stand it and pulled out a tissue, wiping her palms as she thought that the latest model of phone was too heavy.

Perhaps because she hadn't replied to his messages for a while, Sheng Kuang sent another one.

He felt foolish like this. He really wanted to stop himself from laughing, but he just couldn't.

In the steamy shower, he leaned against the wall with one hand, covering his slightly aching stomach from laughing with the other, chuckling in bursts.
