"Headmaster, I can tell there are more secrets hidden in this organization. From the information we have gathered all this time, I can vaguely guess that they are somehow related to the Lost Bidora Empire. If my guess isn't wrong, they must be after the Lockridge royal family or something that is hidden within the royal castle's treasury." Anne answered while Alius nodded his head in approval.
"Correct. What I'm about to tell you guys is some classified information. So, it would be best if you engrave it deep into your soul and never tell anyone. Merely revealing a single piece of information might cost your life." Alius turned his face seriously and then continued in a deep tone.
"A millennium ago, this Dewsummit capital was once the Bidora Empire's capital city. Although the whole city was destroyed back then, a few places remain standing till now." Alius's words startled everyone.
"Oh my god!" Everyone, including Abium, was deeply shocked inside.
After a short silence, Zivior snapped out of the shock and asked.
"Teacher, do you know why the Bidora Empire and its history got completely wiped out?"
"I told you countless times about the lost Empire, Zivi. I don't know. At that time, I remembered that I was just a servant of the Lockridge family. Suddenly one day, everyone completely lost their memories and only remembered basic things. Moreover, Lockridge's family members were cursed by some unknown spell and completely lost their ability to walk on the path of mages."
"After that, the Lockridge Family members were targeted by the enemies and faced an imminent threat. Lockridge's family elder Godefray Lockridge also started to face the reality and began to teach me magic. Before dying, he asked me to protect Lockridge, Ollim, and Howgett's family members. Even though I was a servant back then, the three family members respected me as an equal and treated me well. Because of that single reason, I swore to protect them with my life on the line. All I knew was that these three family members did something terrible to the Bidora Empire's Royal Family and were cursed by Emperor Jack." Alius said with a bitter smile on his face.
'It appears even Alius don't know the real history. But why are there only three families instead of five? Did Elder Godefray Lockridge hide the truth?' Abium eyes squinted sharper.
'That memory wiping spell is a scary thing indeed! I must be careful when facing these types of unique peoples in the future.'
Suddenly, Abium thought of something and asked.
"Headmaster, what does the 'Lord' title represents? During the secret meeting, Necromancer Rilos mentioned someone using 'Lord' Title." Abium's words made Alius frown a bit. But he soon replied without putting much thought into it.
"Mostly, mages call third-tier mages like me as Lords, lad." Suddenly, Alius stopped his hand movement and asked deeply.
"Did you just say Necromancer Rilos used that title to represent someone?"
"Yes, Headmaster. There are two names he mentioned in that meeting with that title. They are Lord Shade and Lord Nezad." Abium answered truthfully.
"Nezad?! How?! How come Nezad is still alive? I killed him five hundred years ago with my own hand, though!" Alius said with a startled voice.
Soon, he closed his eyes a second later like he was in deep meditation and started uttering strange words in the abyssal language.
All of them inside the main hall stayed silent for the next few minutes and waited for their Alius to speak.
After a long silence, Alius finally opened his eyes and muttered with a little shock on his face.
"He really is alive! Hmm, I don't know much about this Lord shade, but he must be another third-tier necromancer." He paused for a second and soon sized Abium up and down before asking,
"Did they say anything about their real plan?"
"No, Headmaster. Necromancer Rilos said they had to keep it secretive till tomorrow morning. But he ordered me and another first-tier necromancer to meet him at the 52 Royal Street around 8 A.M tomorrow. He also asked me to bring this artifact along with me." Abium said while taking out an emerald pendant from his pocket and giving it to Alius.
Abium's words caused Alius to knit his eyebrows as he felt something was wrong.
'This kid is too reckless. Hmm? This artifact has a Third-Tier spell model! No wonder that guy asked Abium to accompany the main mission.'
Alius quietly examined that pendant and spoke.
"He must have thought of using this pendant to seal someone higher than him. But I don't know why he is after the royal family, though."
"Teacher, why don't we check the royal castle's treasury and find out what was hidden there before those necromancers?" The white-haired Idus asked with puzzlement. That mystery he had wanted to discover for the past six hundred years. Everyone knew some secret was hidden inside that royal castle treasury, but because of Alius's Order, no one even went near the treasury.
"I can't. Unless something bad happens to that place, no one would be able to enter. Moreover, Elder Godefray Lockridge's pet is always guarding that place, and only the royal family members have the right even to enter the treasury." Alius said with a firm tone. Meanwhile, others felt more puzzled by his words and became more curious.
'Pet?'
At that moment, Abium suddenly thought of something and soon widened his eyes.
'It's in the Creeper Forest's strange puzzle! If I'm not wrong, it's called Redbird. Now I'm starting to understand everything. Even Lily told me about this when we were battling against that Caarth demon. Moreover, I also saw that bird's incarnation during the Bare Keep town incident. Prince Raollet summoned Redbird's incarnation and fought against that Holy maiden.' Abium nodded in enlightenment as he remembered all those incidents.
"So, what are we going to do now? Are we just going to wait for those necromancers to get there and steal whatever they want?" Ubius asked with an impatient expression.
"We have very little information about this group, Ubius. From Mage Abium's information, we can tell that the necromancers are going after something inside the royal treasury. But I don't think they can enter the treasury without any Royal Family member's help. As long as we protect the Royal Family members, their plan is bound to fail."
'Now that I think about it, it is indeed a good idea. But did the Necromancers manage to achieve their goal in my past life? Tsk, I have no information about it.' Abium sighed inwardly.
Meanwhile, Tabitha looked at Alius and asked further.
"Teacher, can you tell us more about this Order of the dead organization? Like, who is the head of this organization? What is the organization's true purpose? Who is that Lord Nezad? How did you kill him in the past? And why did you kill him?" Her multiple questions made Alius a little stunned.
