While walking towards his house, Abium asked for more information about Rune Mages and Potion Mages from Azolla.
'Okay.'
Abium quickly understood that he was just a frog at the bottom of the well and decided to focus on Runology first.
Till now, Abium felt like he was walking on a clueless path. But thanks to Azolla's words, his next goal became somewhat clear.
'I should aim to become an Adept Level Rune Mage sooner.' Of course, he had no plan of abandoning the path of Potioneering.
'But I should do one step at a time.'
Abium slowly calmed down and soon noticed that he had arrived at Black Street's entrance.
Without delay, he moved towards his house and soon noticed that it was already around 5 A.M.
Afterward, he entered his house, moved towards the bedroom, and silently lay on the soft bed. But he didn't plan to sleep now. He wanted to know what would happen if he went along with that Necromancer Rilos.
'Although I can change the future of a normal person or low-tier mages without any problem, I know a few people could control their own destinies. The more I change the futures of others, the more people like my teacher would start noticing that there is an appearance of an anomaly. My main problem is the danger hidden in the royal treasury. I know nothing about that mysterious guardian Redbird. Also, from headmaster Alius's words, I can say that the Lockridge family was originally from the Bidora Empire. That kind of powerhouse might hold more than one trump card.' Abium also thought of the other hidden enemy.
'Headmaster seems to be unaware of that hooded elven guy (Fate Divinity Holder). Moreover, he seems clueless about the other two families who belong to the Bidora Empire. There are too many questions in my mind. Who is the leader of this Order of the Dead organization? Who is that hooded guy? An elf? Or someone else? Also, why did the Light Church suddenly start making trouble for all the royal kingdoms?'
'In the past, the Light Church members claimed that they started to involve in politics due to the royal families' mismanagement of their kingdoms... Suspicious! In the past, I was just a commoner and didn't know anything about these things. Like my whole life was completely controlled by these nobles and mages. But now, I understand there are too many secrets.'
'Ha! I should stop the necromancers from killing many civilians for now and stay low-key. I think the final seal will also break around this time. When that happens, dungeons will start to appear one by one and cause great commotion everywhere. Although most of those dungeons will disappear mysteriously after some time, there will be many monsters coming out from those dungeons and giving headaches to everyone. As for the arrival of demons and devils, I can think about that later. Now, let's see about tomorrow's future. Although I am still unsure of how far I can see the future events, I at least want to try.' Abium thought to himself and concentrated on the mysterious fountain through the strange link. The next second, he felt that his soul was pulled into the mysterious space and soon found himself standing in front of the mysterious fountain.
Without wasting much time, he moved closer to the white petal and tapped it with his foggy hand. A second later, the same empty mirror-like rectangular space appeared in front of him. Quickly Abium touched that mirror-like space with his hand and thought about the next day's future.
Like water waves, the space started to disappear and was soon replaced with the image of a bird.
Unlike any normal bird, it was a five-meter large monstrous crimson-feathered legendary Phoenix bird!
Quickly, Abium shifted his attention to the surrounding areas and started to analyze everything. At that moment, he noticed that Redbird was standing in some underground cave and seemed enraged. Behind that monstrous bird stood a tall broken rectangular stone pillar inscribed by multiple rune circles around it.
Another broken part was just laid near the pillar and looked creepy. A fraction of a second later, Abium noticed flames emerging from the bird's wings and burning everything.
Soon, he saw two headless figures with red robes and five headless figures with black robes lying on the other side of that broken stone pillar.
Before Abium could check those people's identity, the rectangular space began to twist and returned to normal black void-like space. The next second, Abium felt that his soul was pulled out of that mysterious fountain space and found himself lying on the soft bed.
'Is that a mythical bird? Nah, but I'm sure it belongs to that legendary Phoenix bird's descendant. It is definitely the Redbird. Moreover, what is that broken stone pillar? Is that some type of seal? Then, whose bodies are those two red robes and black robes? Red robe represents second-tier mages, and the one who would come after me is only Rune mage Ubius.' Suddenly, Abium's expression stiffened up.
'Damn! Will he be killed if he comes to search for me?' Abium's eyes went wide as he thought of that.
'What to do?... From the image, I can tell I'm not any of the black-robed headless bodies because I knew I would be wearing a gray robe tomorrow. Who are they then?' Abium became more puzzled.
'Ha! I had to do something if I want to save that Rune mage.' Abium frowned deeper.
