Chapter 219: Remove from the Class
On the podium, Langga folded his arms, still smiling politely.
"Vania Shereen," he asked mildly, "do you think I’ll grant that request?"
Vania stiffened slightly.
After all, Langga wasn’t just any professor— he was one of the youngest and most talented in the academy. She couldn’t just shout demands at him... she needed a reason.
Vania cleared her throat softly. "I’m sure Professor will approve my request. In my opinion, a team should have balance and equality.
We don’t need someone who isn’t on the same level, it’ll disrupt the team’s harmony. And as the leader, I’ll have a hard time keeping things running normally."
"What kind of balance and equality are you referring to?" Langga asked, sounding genuinely curious.
His calm tone gave Vania the confidence to speak more boldly, letting her true nature show. "What I mean is simple— strong ones should be with the strong, and the weak should stay with the weak. Only then can real balance exist."
A wave of murmurs rippled through the room. Everyone knew she had just insulted Gara —her own S-Class classmate— calling him weak.
"But, Vania, this is the Strategy Class— the class for leaders," Langga said, his voice firm but still gentle. "There are no weak students here."
Yet instead of backing down, Vania puffed up even more. "That’s exactly why, Professor, I’d like to suggest removing Gara from this class. Get rid of the weak link."
This time, she didn’t hold back— she said Gara’s name directly.
"Vania’s insane!" Andine muttered, barely holding back her anger.
Fian’s glare could have burned a hole through her. If looks could kill, Vania would’ve been reduced to ashes on the spot.
Meanwhile, Madha quietly reached under the table and squeezed Gara’s hand, giving him silent support.
But Gara didn’t react. He stayed calm, eyes fixed on Langga, waiting to see how his professor would respond.
Then Langga chuckled. "Vania, you show one of the traits of a true leader— courage."
A proud smile spread across her face. She even shot Gara a smug, challenging look. Gara didn’t flinch.
But Langga wasn’t finished.
He continued, "However, this Strategy Class belongs to me. And the very first thing you must do to remain here... is follow my orders. Not just display one leadership trait, but obey your professor."
His tone sharpened, all warmth gone. "If you can’t follow my instructions or respect the rules of this class, then you may leave— right now."
The room erupted in shocked whispers.
Vania froze. Fear, humiliation, and betrayal tangled inside her chest, twisting her pride into knots.
"And one more thing, Vania," Langga added coldly. "Watch your mouth. Don’t spread rumors you can’t even confirm yourself."
The entire class knew she’d been gossiping about Langga in the Offense Class. If not for Madha and Gara proving their skills back then, the professor’s reputation might’ve been destroyed.
Now, no one looked at Vania with sympathy anymore. Everyone understood, she’d dug her own grave.
Even her beastfolk teammates quietly shifted their bodies away.
The sting of isolation hit her harder than any punishment.
Langga opened his mouth again, and the students braced themselves, thinking he’d address the rumor directly— but they were wrong.
Instead, Langga addressed something else entirely.
"Vania," he said sharply, "as a professor in this academy, I have full authority to expel you right here and now— S-Class student or not. If I ever hear you spreading that rumor again, the one about my so-called engagement, I will expel you from this academy."
The young professor shifted his gaze to the rest of the class. "I, Professor Langga Alterian, have no relationship whatsoever with Alya Shereen— or any woman from the Tiger Clan. Engagement? Relationship? None of it exists!"
By the end of his statement, his eyes landed on Gara— who couldn’t hide his startled expression.
Just earlier, Gara had told Langga to stay away from him because he thought the professor was already engaged... and now Langga was declaring, in front of everyone, that there was no engagement at all?
What does this mean? Did he just make that announcement because of what I said earlier? But... why?
Gara’s mind spun with questions.
Vania was frozen in her own shock, and the rest of the class began to stir with restless whispers.
Thankfully, the class was nearly over.
"You’ve all seen your team members’ names, haven’t you?" Langga said, restoring order. "By next week’s meeting, I want each of you to gather information about your teammates— personal details, family background, bloodline, talents, and anything else you can find."
The room erupted again with chatter.
"But I don’t even know who my teammates are! I only recognize one name!" Andine whined to Fian.
When he ignored her, she immediately turned to Gara, skipping right over Madha.
"Just talk to them," Gara said calmly. "They’ll probably open up easily. They need information about you too."
Andine’s face lit up. "You’re right! If I have any trouble, I’ll just ask you, Gara— you know everything!"
The three young men who had grown close to her these past few days —Gara, Fian, and Madha— could only shake their heads.
Ignoring Andine’s dramatics, Gara focused on the list of names on his desk. He’d been too distracted by Vania earlier to really pay attention to the rest.
Aside from her, one name stood out— Mona Daevora.
"The ghost girl?" Gara muttered under his breath, instinctively scanning the room for her. Mona was always present, yet somehow always... invisible.
Before he could spot her, Langga dismissed the class.
With everyone rising from their seats, Mona’s presence vanished once again.

Gara’s next class was Alchemist Class, an auxiliary course. It shared some similarities with Herbalist Class, but the tools and setup here carried a distinctly modern feel.
Hmm. Even the equipment seems built with a focus on technology, Gara thought.
He crossed his arms, eyes drifting across the classroom.
Goddess Freya... if I manage to recreate modern technology from my old world here, am I allowed to spread that knowledge? It wouldn’t break this world’s laws, would it?
He didn’t expect a response. It had been quite a while since his last conversation with the goddess, ever since he upgraded Max Charm (Passive) into Max Charm (Active).
To be honest, Gara missed teasing her a little. But life had been busy lately. Between taking care of the triplets and adapting to academy life, he barely had time to breathe.
He was about to refocus on the professor when a familiar robotic voice echoed in his mind.
"It’s not forbidden... as long as your explanation fits the standard knowledge of this world."
