Chapter 82: Falling Star

Chapter 82: Chapter 82: Falling Star

"Hmm, so those are the guys, huh."

Li Feng currently stood within the vast desolate land inside the brick’s pocket space, using his shared sense to observe the people below.

He wanted to maybe gather some information first, so instead of crashing the brick down, he threw it high into the air and let it hover quietly.

And as expected, those below didn’t even notice, which helped confirm another detail about the brick’s presence.

To others, it basically looks and feels like a normal brick, they wouldn’t even realize it’s a Divine Weapon.

"Well, the more capable the brick is, the easier my life will be."

Li Feng smiled, growing fonder of this strange weapon by the second.

He then turned his attention back to the people below.

Even though he couldn’t hear their voices from this height, he could sense their strength roughly.

"Two 9th Realm Qi Refinement cultivators, a few 8th, and one 7th..."

Li Feng pondered, rubbing his chin, wondering whether to confront this group or not

Normally, with his cultivation at only the 6th Realm, facing such a group would be suicide.

But right now, with the immense strength from his Starforge Body, he still didn’t know his limits.

This battle could prove useful to gauge his strength, though he couldn’t ignore the possibility of him being overconfident and biting off more than he could handle.

Ever since his Star reached 30, Li Feng had acquired a kind of sixth sense or you can say a beastly instinct that allowed him to sense danger and stay alert.

"Strangely, I don’t feel anything," he murmured, as the instinct born from the raw strength of his body didn’t seem to be warning him. Instead, it seemed excited, as if it had finally found a worthy opponent.

Li Feng gave his hand a strange look, unable to help but think that he really had a lot of brains now.

His little brother’s brain helped him with matters concerning women, while this body helped him with fighting stuff, or even help me by alerting him if there are anything dangerous.

Li Feng then seemed to make up his mind and laughed freely.

"Haha, who should I trust if not myself? Fine, let’s fight! "

His battle spirit then surged, sweeping away any hesitation and doubt.

Soon, powerful pressure start radiated from his body, shaking the air itself.

For some reason, even his ’little brother’ seemed to share his excitement, as if it were about to join the battle too.

Li Feng twitched his lips when he noticed this.

"...This isn’t your battlefield."

He then muttered with a lewd grin. "Don’t worry....you’ll get your turn soon."

His mind wandered to the special collection he had just gotten custom-made, eager to try it on Fen Ziyan tonight.

There were all kinds of animal accessories, but he had already decided to gift Fen Ziyan a dog one, after all, she seemed quite fit for it.

"Hehe... I’ll have to teach her some very special commands," he mused, a mischievous grin spreading across his face as he imagined her voluptuous body wearing those accessories on all fours, acting like his obedient dog.

With his blood boiling from the excitement of the battle ahead and the thought of spending some sweet time with his lewd senior sister, Li Feng wore an excited smile and then left the pocket space.

Now free from all doubt and restraint, he leapt from the brick, plummeting rapidly as the wind howled past him through the clouds.

For a brief moment, everything around him fell silent.

Li Feng felt the unrestrained freedom, the weightless world fading around him as he watched the sun set and stars begin to emerge in the distant sky, making it seem as if the world had been split between the fading sunlight and the rising darkness of the stars.

Above....the last light of sunset.

Below....the first stars piercing the deepening dusk.

Between them, Li Feng fell like a comet,

And for that brief instant... he felt completely free.

And something began to stir within him.

A strange energy began to surge through his soul, purifying his entire body like a bath in the fresh waters of spring.

[Ding!]

A brilliant flash of light erupted in his vision, and a voice echoed in his mind:

[...Congratulations, Host, for achieving epiphany and acquiring a new Innate Technique: "Falling Star Fist"]

Li Feng blinked his eye in surprise, then his grin widened into a unrestraint smile.

He never thought that the bullshit he had used to lie about in the past would actually happen for real.

His laughter soon tore through the sky, carried by the wind as if the heavens themselves were joining in.

"Hahaha! Perfect timing!"

Then he clenched his fist until even his body tensed, channeling everything without holding back.

The 30 stars within his Starforge Body seemed to sense their master’s will, and began burning even more brightly with a silvery light.

The empty universe inside his Starforge Body appeared to be bathed in that radiance as the resonant star energy began to form its own miniature galaxy.

Soon, a silver light, mark with tiny stars, some dark, some white as it continue to gathered around his fist, swirling and combining into a tangible, almost living power.

The air surrounding him continue to screamed as Li Feng’s body tore through it.

Below, the masked people, the Death Soldiers finally noticed something is descending.

One of them looked up curiously, and soon his eyes widened.

"Wha—"

That was all he managed to say before the world above turned white.

Because in the next instant, Li Feng’s release his fist toward the ground.

"Falling Star Fist!"

BOOM!!!

The explosion wasn’t just a sound...it was sheer pressure.

Soon, a blinding shockwave erupted outward, ripping through the barren earth and flattening everything within hundreds of meters.

Dust, light, and sheer spiritual force collided, swallowing the Death Soldiers in chaos.

The sky itself seemed to shake, while the ground trembled beneath it.

BOOMM!!!

A deafening roar followed, like thunder crashing right beside one’s ear.

The heavens seemed to split open as a pillar of silver light shot upward, piercing through the clouds.

For a few seconds, the entire world turned silvery white.

As the light faded, it left behind a wide crater of smoking earth.

Everything nearby was scorched black—the once-green forest now a lifeless wasteland.

And for a few long seconds, there was nothing but roaring wind and flying debris.

Then... silence.

.

.

.

The land around him had been carved into a bowl-shaped abyss.

At its center stood Li Feng, his body steaming, his fist still embedded in the shattered ground.

"Haaa..."

He exhaled slowly, while silver light leaking from the cracks in his skin like molten metal cooling in the air.

"...Damn," he muttered, shaking his hand as he look at the devastation around him. "That actually stings a little."

Soon, he saw three figures in the distance, staggering as if they had barely escaped.

It was Leader No.0 and the seductive woman No.1, who was holding No.10 with his face completely drained of blood, frozen in the terror of witnessing the most frightening scene of his life.

No.0, covered in dust and filled with fear and trepidation, looked at the near-apocalyptic scene.

"What in the world happen...?"

They were just discussing their next plan to lure Fen Ziyan into their prepared trap formation, but a sudden dread arose in his heart.

He was also a Body Tempering Cultivator and managed to sense that something was wrong. Without even turning his head to check, he immediately leapt to escape.

Yet even that wasn’t enough. If it weren’t for a precious protective talisman activating on its own after sensing his life in danger, he might have been seriously injured....or even die from that.

No.1, who was nearby, was in a similar state, carefully observing the devastated surroundings.

Shrewd, cunning, and sharp-minded, she noticed No.0’s sudden escape. Without even pausing to wonder why, she also jumped away decisively, and relying on a few more protective treasures on her body to save her life.

During her escape, she held onto No.10, which luckily saved his life as well but for the others...

Not a single body remained in the area.

"Is this... h-heaven’s punishment?" No.10’s shaky voice broke the heavy silence.

No.1 could even feel his trembling body in her embrace, yet she had no answer to his question.

"No... it’s not heaven’s punishment. It’s an attack," No.0’s voice followed warily as he looked ahead.

"Attack...? From who...?" No.1 muttered, wondering who could be so powerful and why they would strike here.

Then, the sound of footsteps emerged from the swirling dust, reaching their ears

Step.

Step.

Step.

Each step made their hearts jump a little, still shaken and terrified from the attack they had just survived.

Finally, through the fading dust, a robust man’s figure appeared, calm, unhurried, his expression fresh and bright.

Li Feng smiled faintly.

"That," he said, "would be me."
