Chapter 1545: Chapter 1545: This Girl Is Spoiled Rotten

Cherry stayed in the hospital in Pearlpoint for a week, then returned to Clearwater City with Gavin Graves.

When she was kicked out of the Graves Residence, it was still late autumn.

Now it was already the depths of winter.

As far as the eye could see, it was covered in white snow, cold and crystalline.

Such heavy snow is rarely seen in southern cities. Servants in the Graves Residence’s yard were clearing the snow, and the path was swept clean, with piles of varying sizes on either side, resembling small hills.

Cherry was thrilled, and as soon as she got out of the car, she rushed to play in the snow, but Gavin grabbed her by the collar and carried her back into the house.

Indoors it was warm, and as he helped her take off her clothes, beads of sweat appeared on her nose, yet her eyes still sparkled as she looked at the snow outside and murmured, “So white, I feel like eating ice cream.”

Gavin lightly flicked her nose, “Careful, you might catch a cold.”

Her wound wasn’t healed yet, and putting on or taking off clothes was very troublesome, especially when it came to sleeves; even the slightest brush would cause her face to turn pale with pain.

However, Cherry could endure pain better than most. Gavin noticed that whenever she cried, it was either out of grievance or pretending to be aggrieved; he never saw her cry from pain.

Of course, being able to endure pain doesn’t mean she isn’t afraid of it.

Gavin dressed her in loose loungewear, then went to the wardrobe to see which of Cherry’s clothes were still wearable.

Upon entering, he saw a large portion of the space was empty and remembered that last time, in a fit of anger, he had ordered the servants to throw all her things out.

He felt uneasy inside.

He sighed slightly, walked back to make a call, instructing the servants to bring some clothes over, preferably with a cape design, so that she wouldn’t need sleeves.

After hanging up, he realized the room was empty. Just as he was wondering, he noticed a large bulge in the floor-to-ceiling curtains…

Gavin chuckled, walked over to open the curtains, and saw her lying by the window, poking the snow on the outside windowsill with her finger.

“Not being obedient again.” He reached out to close the window, “You’re very weak right now, it’s easy for you to catch a cold. Wait until you’re better to play in the snow.”

Cherry pouted, “By the time I’m better, the snow will definitely have melted.”

Gavin thought, might as well buy a snow machine.

Seeing her pout, he couldn’t help but tease her: “Let it melt, then you can take good care of yourself for a year. It’ll snow again next winter.”

Cherry widened her eyes in disbelief, “You want me to wait a year!!!”

Gavin couldn’t hold back his laughter and pinched her cheek.

In the end, they both compromised. Gavin allowed Cherry to play with the snow, but only indoors.

But indoors it was warm; Cherry made a large snowball, which soon became the size of a tennis ball, then a ping pong ball, and finally a sesame seed, melting into water.

She was exasperated, “I can’t make a snowman like this!”

Gavin smiled but said nothing.

She huffed and muttered unhappily, “When it used to snow, Nathaniel Summers would always build a snowman for me. Gavin is the stingiest!”

Gavin: “…”

He suddenly felt that Purple Summers was right; he had indeed spoiled her too much!

Cherry continued with a hurt expression, “If Nathaniel knew I had one less hand, he’d definitely make a snowman to cheer me up.”

“@#%¥#…” Gavin stood up in a huff, stomping out of the room!

Two hours later—

All the snow inside and outside the Graves Residence was gathered together, using the frozen fountain as a base. Gavin, along with his staff, built a snowman almost as tall as a tree!

Cherry screamed with excitement!

Gavin asked her, “Whose snowman is bigger?”

“Gavin’s snowman is bigger!”

Gavin asked her, “Am I stingy?”

“Not stingy! Gavin is the best to me, not stingy at all!” Cherry happily jumped into his arms, “I like Gavin the most!”

She took his reddened hand in hers, placed it against her flushed cheek, and sweetly said to him, “Gavin, let me warm your hand.”

Gavin quietly watched her, feeling like there was a heater in his heart, warm like spring.
