Chapter 562: Chapter 316: The Little Secret Between Her and Chen Cheng
If a few hours ago Chen Cheng had not guessed what Mei Xiang and Li Ya were discussing, now he understood it all.
And he was not the same man as he was a month ago.
He felt the boldness and passion emanating from Su Liya, pinching her beautiful face gently, “I’ll send someone to pick you up after your classes tomorrow.”
“I don’t have classes tomorrow.”
Chen Cheng looked at the slyness masked by clarity in those eyes, “Lying isn’t what good babies do.”
“Uncle, I’m telling the truth,” Su Liya assured him.
Chen Cheng’s brows lifted slightly, “Then pick a place and send me the location.”
“Okay!”
Su Liya kissed him again, this time with even more fervor and lingering passion.
Chen Cheng responded, wrapping his arms around her slender waist.
A moment later, Su Liya was panting slightly, a haze of dreaminess in her eyes.
Chen Cheng gestured towards the kitchen, “Get some water.”
“Okay!”
Su Liya scampered towards the kitchen, while Chen Cheng walked into the living room and sat down.
Three to five minutes later, Wen Shulin, who had changed clothes, appeared.
She approached Chen Cheng with a smile on her face, “How is it?”
“What ‘how is it’?”
“How do I look in this?” she asked.
Chen Cheng sized up her outfit. Wen Shulin had changed into a silk pajama set—a wine-red base color adorned with delicate lace trim, making her look even more bewitching and alluring.
The neckline of the pajamas was slightly open, revealing her fair skin and delicate collarbone, adding a touch of sensuality.
“You won’t blame me for making a mistake in this outfit, will you?” Chen Cheng asked deliberately.
Wen Shulin chuckled teasingly, “Making a mistake? What kind of mistake? Tell me.”
As she spoke, she sat down beside Chen Cheng, elegantly leaning her legs to one side.
“Just talking won’t do, will it?”
Wen Shulin held his hand, “I won’t be responsible for putting out fires.”
“Hahaha…”
The two joked and laughed, and Su Liya came over with two glasses of water, “Mommy, I’m going to my room first.”
Wen Shulin nodded, “Go ahead, Mr. Chen will leave in a while.”
Su Liya took another look at Chen Cheng before returning to her bedroom.
But as soon as the door closed, she eagerly took out her phone and sent a message to Mei Xiang.
“Success!”
“Really?”
“He guessed our plan.”
“What?”
Su Liya held her phone excitedly, her mind filled with fantasies of what would happen tomorrow.
“No, I need to prepare properly.” She muttered to herself and started rummaging through her closet.
Meanwhile, in the living room, Wen Shulin was completely indulged in Chen Cheng’s tenderness, but she dared not make much noise, only softly humming.
Chen Cheng released his hands, “I should really go now, before we really start a fire.”
Wen Shulin reluctantly held Chen Cheng’s cheeks, “I don’t want you to go.”
Chen Cheng readjusted the thin straps of her dress back onto her shoulders and laughed lightly before planting a kiss on Wen Shulin’s forehead, “Next time.”
Wen Shulin pouted, her eyes filled with lingering affection, yet she knew she couldn’t keep him and merely nodded lightly.
Chen Cheng stood up, straightening his slightly wrinkled clothes, and strode toward the door.
Before leaving, he turned to give Wen Shulin a deep look, his gaze pulling at her heartstrings once more.
Wen Shulin bit her lip and waved, watching the door close slowly, cutting off their line of sight. Only then did she exhale deeply, sinking onto the couch, basking in the memories of their intimate moments.
Chen Cheng went downstairs and took a taxi, the car blending into the night as streetlights flashed by, stirring his heart.
He found himself looking forward to the “date” tomorrow.
At the same time, Su Liya was busily engaged in her room.
The wardrobe was in disarray, clothes scattered across the floor. She held up several dresses in front of her, mumbling, “This one’s too plain, this one’s too flashy…”
After much deliberation, she finally settled on a sky-blue floral dress, simple yet fresh—a style she thought Chen Cheng would like.
After choosing the dress, she dove into her makeup routine, carefully scrutinizing her youthful face in the mirror.
Eyeshadow, blusher, lipstick—all were applied and reapplied until she achieved the desired effect.
She smoothed out her brown hair, leaving it draped over her shoulders, and stood up satisfied. She twirled in front of the mirror, cheeks flushing at the thought of Chen Cheng being dazzled by her the next day.
“Uncle, will you like the way I’ve dressed up?”
As the night deepened, the city quieted down, yet lights still shone from Su Liya’s room.
Within that light gleamed a young girl’s hopes and dreams for the morrow, alongside her nervousness and uncertainty about the unknown future.
…
…
The next morning, Chen Cheng arrived at the Four Seasons Hotel at the location provided by Su Liya.
Waiting inside the agreed-upon hotel room, Su Liya had been there for quite some time.
The knock on the door reverberated with her eager heart. She hurried to the door and opened it to see Chen Cheng.
Chen Cheng also looked at her, the light blue floral dress highlighting her youthful, radiant charm, her meticulously applied makeup making her even more stunning.
Chen Cheng’s gaze lingered on Su Liya for a moment, a subtle flash of admiration in his eyes, his lips curving teasingly, “You’ve really made an effort.”
Su Liya’s face instantly flushed, shooting him an annoyed glance, “Uncle, you always tease me.”
Saying so, she moved aside to let Chen Cheng into the room.
The room was permeated with a faint scent of flowers—the aroma of fresh white roses Su Liya had specifically prepared, their pristine petals unfolding carelessly as if echoing a girl’s sentiments.
