Chapter 1544: Chapter 1549: Should I Change? 5

Rong Qianchen silently observed her, and despite her mastery over disguise, he saw the anxiety emanating from the depth of her eyes.

Rong Qianchen only felt as if his heart was harshly entwined by a steel wire, getting tighter with each turn, almost leaving him breathless.

Beiming Han, after hearing Gu Qingxin’s words, his murderous aura faded halfway. He warned Rong Qianchen with a cold stare, “Mr. Rong, Xin’er is a married woman now, please respect her.”

Beiming Han, holding Gu Qingxin’s hand, left with Xiao Yi.

Before leaving, Gu Qingxin glanced at Rong Qianchen and apologized with a slight nod.

Rong Qianchen too nodded at her, giving her a reassured expression.

In the car.

Gu Qingxin planned to say something to Xiao Yi when her ear suddenly hurt. As she cried out and covered her ear, Beiming Han had already rolled down the car window and discarded the earring she wore.

“What are you doing!” Gu Qingxin was hurt, and somewhat angry.

“From now on, don’t let me see anything that belongs to others on you!” Beiming Han removed her other earring and tossed it out.

“What do you mean by others’ belongings?” Gu Qingxin felt a heavy blockage in her chest, her eyes were tearing up, and she was about to break down.

“…” Beiming Han remained silent, his eyes carrying a clear accusation.

“I already returned the crown to him! You are being unreasonable!” Gu Qingxin angrily turned away, moved to the other side of the car, and ignored him.

He could buy a woman, accompany a woman to the hospital, but she merely accepted a gift and even returned it, yet he was so unreasonable and overbearing!

Gu Qingxin clenched her lip, holding back her tears.

Beiming Han frowned at her side profile, he wished to apologize. However, recalling her cheerful interaction with Rong Qianchen, he found himself unable to speak.

Suddenly his hand was bitten, Xiao Yi glared angrily at him and went to comfort Gu Qingxin.

Beiming Han looked at the teeth mark on his hand, his brow furrowing deeper.

As their car returned to the North Garden, Gu Qingxin alighted with Xiao Yi without sparing him a glance. Beiming Han’s arrogance made her breathless.

“Miss, are you hurt? Why is there blood?” Aunt Zhou anxiously asked Gu Qingxin as she noticed blood stains on her.

Glancing downwards at her shoulder, indeed, there were two blood spots staining her goose-yellow dress. Gu Qingxin’s brows furrowed. She couldn’t ruin the dress-her mother gave it to her.

Gu Qingxin asked Aunt Zhou to take care of Xiao Yi, then rushed back to her room. Upon entering, she noticed that it was blood from her ear.

Thanks to Beiming Han forcefully pulling off her earring, it was normal to bleed.

Gu Qingxin felt uneasy, but she ignored her bleeding ear – it had stopped anyways. She hurriedly took off her dress to clean the blood stains.

Fortunately, the stains were fresh and easily washed away.

While she was washing, the bathroom door swung open. Gu Qingxin frowned, then wrung dry the dress and held it up to inspect.

Suddenly, her shoulder was grabbed. Beiming Han forcefully turned Gu Qingxin’s body around. She glared at him, retorting, “What are you doing?”

Beiming Han’s eyes landed on her ear. The sight of blood made his pupils contract sharply.
