Capítulo 1289: Chapter 723: Peaceful Witch’s Home (Part 3)
While passing by the pasture area, Dorothy’s gaze met with a fearless Exploding Goose in the pen.
This is a common high-level ingredient found in a witch’s marketplace. Indeed, although delicious, they are quite a handful to deal with. Ordinary geese are known as the village bullies in terms of combat power, not to mention this is a Magical Beast Goose.
This Exploding Goose is inherently equipped with the Fireball Technique; one careless move and it might reward you with a face-full of fireball.
According to the Five Fireballs to Slay God theory of the Fireball Spell Sect, when five Exploding Geese team up, the average witch would be chased and running everywhere.
Not to mention some talented Exploding Geese can learn the upper-level magic of the Fireball Technique—the Explosion Art, a classic three-ring magic.
If they’re even more talented, they can, furthermore, learn the six-ring magical upper-level spell—Aurora Burst, nine-ring magic—Starlight Burst, and even the Forbidden Curse—Sunburst.
Legend has it that once, among the Exploding Geese tribe, there was a supreme goose that mastered that Forbidden Curse, forcing calamities to flee in panic, notoriously fierce.
However, perhaps because of this glorious history, the temper of Exploding Geese is as their name suggests, explosive. They always look at people with a disdainful sidelong glance and will take action at the slightest provocation.
Currently, this beautifully feathered, fiery red goose was sneeringly giving a sideways glance at the entirely clueless homebody witch.
Could Dorothy tolerate this?
Heh, she happened to be the Archbishop of the Fireball Spell Sect, and this fellow sect member of a goose dared be disrespectful to her.
So, eyes confirmed, they met the right person.
One human and one goose both adopted a sharp gaze, then both started simultaneously.
“Quack….”
“Awoo….”
A goose call and a dragon roar resonated at the same time, with two Fireball Techniques simultaneously launched, then collided with each other.
The one on the left was from the Exploding Goose; its fireball was a blend of green tinged with purple, goodness, that fireball proficiency was genuinely high, fiercer than most witches’ fireball techniques.
But alas, it encountered a cheat: Dorothy’s colorless large fireball effortlessly defeated that green-purple fireball.
KO.
The homebody witch emerged victorious in this honorable duel.
“Well, well, for you to stand on the left for the wave, I even specifically ran to the right, see?”
Looking at the formerly pretty red-plumed goose now rendered a charred mess, Dorothy chuckled triumphantly.
Then she stepped forward…..
Walked forward right into the goose’s nest, and under the mournful gaze of the inert large goose, she took away five fresh large goose eggs.
Well, being a race that has allotted all skill points to explosive magic, after eating a max-proficiency Fireball Technique, this Exploding Goose only ended up with a bit of singed feathers, suffering merely superficial wounds, so it couldn’t move for now, but with a bit of rest, it would be just fine.
“Don’t be so dramatic, your bachelor goose eggs won’t hatch into chicks anyway, they’ll be my breakfast now.”
The trashy witch made her triumphant return. As she passed the downed goose, she added one last taunt, causing the brave mother goose that had just lifted its head defiantly to collapse again.
KO.
The homebody witch paid no heed to her defeated foe as she strolled further, eventually catching sight of a black-and-white Ferocious Bull Dragon happily grazing on the grass.
“Come here, little cutie, time for your check-up. Let big sis see if you’re developing properly.”
“Moo…”
The cow was startled and terrified.
“Kekeke…. don’t fear, I’ll be gentle with you.”
The witch grinned wickedly.
Ah, it was yet another peaceful morning at the Witch’s Home.
Anyway, by the time Senior Mia and Audrey arrived at the Witch’s Home, there were already five breakfasts laid out on the table below the treehouse.
These were five plates of glossy, golden sunny-side-up eggs pulsing like tiny suns, along with five steaming hot cups of fresh dragon milk.
“So, you’re here. I just finished making breakfast. Today it’s something simple, fried eggs with dragon milk.”
Dorothy said with a face full of harvest joy.
….End of Witch’s Breakfast….
