Chapter 121: A boyfriend? No...a Dog!

Chapter 121: Chapter 121: A boyfriend? No...a Dog!

After watching the movie together, Alex and Supriya walked out of the PVR cinema complex after watching the latest Animation movie ’Chakra’ it told about the story of a boy who got to awakened his 7 chakras in his body through a freak accident.

It was a pretty good superhero movie, it has a great appeal to youngsters of today after ’Krish’.

"Wow the movie was pretty decent, I didn’t accept it to be so good. With this I can say Bollywood animation films are definitely getting better and better with each release, it is not far when it could compete with Disney too." Alex commented thoughtfully.

After watching the latest animated blockbuster Alex couldn’t help but praise about it to Supriya after all the picture quality was exceptionally good while the plot remained engaging throughout.

There was no shortage of laughter moments no forced actions between characters, and Alex estimated this movie would probably earn more than 150 million at the Indian box office and more on worldwide.

Just as they were nearing the exit of the Plassio Mall Supriya couldn’t help but say:

"Hey handsome, how about we head to a bar in today and grab a couple of drinks together?" Supriya invited with obvious interest in her voice, it can not be anymore obvious than it is already, clearly she too got smitten by his handsome face and want to know him better.

"Thanks for the offer, but I have some important things to take care of tonight. Maybe we can do it some other time?" Alex politely declined her invitation.

Supriya felt a bit confused by his response.

Huh? what’s that...Why was not this handsome guy following the usual script that she was accustomed to?

She had been fully prepared to spend the evening with him, but this handsome man did not seem particularly interested in taking things further? Why?

She began to look at herself as if asking where I am lacking?

Alex just completely remain uninterested in her.

In fact it is not that Alex didn’t know her intentions he fully knew that but he just didn’t want to have any random girls to have contact with him and his secrets.

The two of them than separated at that point, going their different ways through the busy Mumbai streets.

Alex arrived at the main entrance of Plassio Malls shopping center just as the monsoon weather was taking a dramatic turn for the worse.

Outside the mall entrance, lightning was flashing across the Mumbai sky and thunder was rumbling ominously as heavy rain began pouring down in torrents typical of the city’s intense monsoon season.

Many shoppers had stopped near the entrance, waiting for the storm to pass or for their Uber rides to arrive.

At that moment, a girl wearing a trendy crop top with perfectly shaped thin eyebrows was talking loudly on her phone, saying something quite harsh:

"Dumbo, why have not you reached yet? I’ve been standing here waiting for a whole two minutes already. How much longer do you expect me to wait here like this?"

Alex turned his head to look and immediately felt that this girl seemed too spoiled and domineering and difficult to please.

After seeing her scolding someone for not showing up within exactly two minutes, she started making angry phone calls and losing her temper completely.

However, the girl standing next to her looked genuinely envious of the situation of her friend: "Shreya, your boyfriend is so incredibly sweet to you, yaar. The moment he saw it was raining heavily, he immediately took his car and drove all the way here to pick you up personally."

The girl named Shreya smiled with obvious pride and satisfaction in her voice: "Why are you jealous, If you also want to have a boyfriend who treats you like a queen, then you need to learn a few important tricks from me, okay?"

"Oh really?" her friend asked with genuine curiosity. "What kind of tricks are you talking about?"

Shreya chuckled and began sharing her relationship advice like a self-proclaimed expert:

"Listen carefully men are basically like dogs, I’m telling you for real.

The more you ignore them, the more likely they will chase after you and care about you. And the more attention you give them, the less they will value you.

As long as you train them properly from the beginning, they will naturally become devoted to you and follow all your orders.

Just treat them like you’re training a pet dog, understand?"

The people standing around frowned slightly when they heard this philosophy.

Training your boyfriend like you would train a dog? What is happening to today’s generation. How could that approach actually work in a real relationship?

Shreya didn’t care about other people’s judgmental looks and continued sharing her dating strategies:

"I don’t even work, you know that right? I told my boyfriend that if he wanted to pursue me clearly that he must buy me expensive gifts every month without fail, and he has to give me one-third of his entire salary, otherwise I would break up with him immediately.

So just like a fool he is now he gives me presents every month when he gets his salary.

And let me tell you something else I never do any household work at home, everything is done by him alone. If he ever complains about it, I scold him badly and make him feel guilty!

A woman’s hands are meant for spending money and looking beautiful, not for doing boring housework."

Her friend listened to this advice with great interest, hanging on every word.

But guys like Alex who overheard this conversation couldn’t help but frown in disapproval.

No job, no housework, contributing absolutely nothing to the relationship. Is this boyfriend basically supporting a completely dependent person?

Just at that moment, in front of the Phoenix Malls shopping complex, a black Maruti sedan pulled up to the curb.

"Look, there he is," Shreya announced to her friend with satisfaction. "That’s must be my boyfriend arriving now."

The black car stopped near the entrance, and a young man opened the driver’s door, quickly grabbed an umbrella from inside, and hurried over to where the girls were standing.

"Your boyfriend is so thoughtful and caring, Wow Shreya!" her friend commented admiringly, clearly impressed by this obvious show of gesture.

But instead of showing any appreciation, Shreya immediately started scolding her boyfriend:

"What took you so long? I specifically told you to wait for me at the mall entrance well in advance, so why did you make me stand here for several extra minutes? Don’t you take my instructions seriously at all?"

The young man was not angry at her harsh tone clearly he was throughly trained by her.

He explained with a genuinely guilty expression on his face:

"Sorry Shreya, I really couldn’t help it this time. The traffic around this area was absolutely crazy today. I actually left home half an hour earlier than usual, but I still got stuck in a massive traffic jam on the way here."

Shreya was still visibly furious with him: "You just don’t take me seriously at all! If you had left your place a full hour earlier, then there wouldn’t have been any traffic problems, right? Then I wouldn’t have had to stand here waiting like an idiot!"

As she continued her scolding, she actually started crying as if she had been genuinely wronged by this minor delay.

Alex and others stood there completely stunned by this dramatic scene.

Wait, what? She’s making such a huge scene over being just two minutes late?

And now she’s actually crying with real tears as if she’s been terribly mistreated?

I have always known about crocodiles tears but today I finally

Have seen it in real life too.

Despite her fake crocodile tears that are obvious to all, her boyfriend seemed to feel genuinely guilty about the situation:

"I’m really, really sorry, Shreya. I promise I’ll pay much better attention to the timing next time."

Shreya wiped her tears and said: "Since you claim to realize your mistake, then why don’t you get down on your knees right here and apologize properly?"

The boyfriend looked a bit confused and uncomfortable at her request clearly he is not yet hopeless:

"But there are so many people around us watching Shreya. Wouldn’t it be really inappropriate for me to kneel down in public like this?"

Shreya’s voice became threatening: "Are you going to kneel down or not? If you refuse, then we’re breaking up right here, right now!"

She had just been bragging to her friend about how she had trained her boyfriend like an obedient dog who would do whatever she commanded.

Now she needed to demonstrate the results of her "training" in front of everyone.

Even though his girlfriend was threatening him with a breakup, the young man was still hesitating about whether to actually kneel down in front of all these strangers.
