Chapter 326: Don’t tire yourself too much

Min-Cheol’s eyes narrowed faintly as he asked.

"The gym? Right, there was a gym here." Was that all he had to say? "I think that’s great, Hyung." He said.

"Really?"

"Yes, of course. You’ll need to stay fit and healthy. It’s a good idea." He added and I felt light.

Ki-hoon’s smile returned as well, calm and smooth, but the glint in his gaze betrayed him.

"Just don’t overwork yourself. It can make you sore at first." He paused, his smile deepening just enough to sting. "But I’ll gladly give you a massage when I get back."

Ah, they took it well. I’m glad.

"Thank you for your concern and support, haha." I smiled warmly and this got them feeling proud.

"But if it gets too hard for you, I’ll give you a massage," Min-Cheol said. "I don’t know how to buy I’ll learn just for you."

Oh wow, isn’t that cute?

"Me too, Jo-Pil," Ki-hoon added. "So, don’t push yourself too hard."

"I understand, haha."

I truly needed the exercises more than they could imagine. They probably wouldn’t believe me if I said my hand could no longer reach my back even when I was this slender.

I’ll definitely do my best in the gym.

Meanwhile, Jin-Yeok reached for his morning coffee that was just set down and started putting in several lumps of sugar.

He did this and the other two shifted their gaze towards him.

They were probably jealous that he was given the task to find a trainer to help me out.

So, he was my biggest help.

The atmosphere grew heavy once more but despite the atmosphere, the picture of indifference embodied in him, and I could feel the smugness radiating off him like a furnace.

Watching all this, I could feel my appetite slipping away with all the silent daggers flying across the table... but, let’s be real. Food is food. And I’m one to starve because of the heavy atmosphere.

So, I picked up my chopsticks and dug in.

If they wanted to glare, fine. Let them glare.

I wasn’t about to let tension steal my breakfast. The rice was fluffy, the soup was warm, and the meat practically melted in my mouth. Heavenly. I munched happily with flowers floating around me in glee.

Yes, there was nothing to take away the stress of the morning than the taste of such heavenly delicacy and a full stomach.

By the time I looked up, I realized I’d already cleared half my plate while the three of them were still busy pretending this was a normal morning.

I mean, it was normal-ish. Every morning was basically like this.

"Mm, delicious," I muttered, stuffing another bite into my mouth and ignoring everything else.

When they were done, they could have the leftovers. Oh right, I’ll eat that too, haha.

Min-Cheol’s lips twitched into a faint smile along with his eyes as he transformed into the epitome of innocence.

Ki-hoon began to eat as well, his calmness piercing through the silence. And Jin-Yeok? Ah, that smug smirk hadn’t left his face once as he stared at me and ignored everybody else.

I almost sighed. My masters... Honestly, they were a load of work.

But the food distracted me well enough until my plate was spotless. Nothing was going to rob me of that satisfaction.

After breakfast, I followed Ki-hoon and Min-Cheol outside, the morning air brushing against my pajama sleeves.

Their sleek black cars were already waiting with their guards on standby. I twisted my lips, thinking the world really hard having to stand around every single time.

"Have a great time at work," I said, smiling up at them. Then, shamelessly, I tugged them both down, one at a time, and pressed a quick kiss to each of their lips.

Min-Cheol was stunned at first but then he chuckled happily, his countenance falling completely at ease.

"See you later, Jo-Pil," he said, his blue eyes glowing like the sky above our heads.

Ki-hoon, on the other hand, lingered. His hand brushed the back of my head as he kissed me back, his tone was low and smooth.

"Don’t tire yourself too much. Save some of your strength for me."

My ears burned and I blushed. How corny of him. That’s something Jin-Yeok or Seo-Jun would say.

Who was influencing this guy?

"Y-Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say." I said, brushing my hair back shyly. "Just... go to work already," I muttered, waving them off a little the flustered idiot.

They finally slipped into their cars, the sound of engines revving filling the courtyard. I stood there in my pajamas, barefoot against the stone steps, watching as both vehicles rolled out of sight.

And when they were gone, I let out the longest sigh of my life. At least, that’s what it felt like.

"I finally have the day to myself," I mumbled, forgetting one tiny little detail, but I was immediately reminded of that small detail when Jin-Yeok slid his arms around my chest, dropping his chin on my shoulder, and whispered,

"It seems I have you to myself, Jo-Pil. Isn’t that great?"

Right. There was this guy.

"Haha," I laughed awkwardly, pushing his hand down. "I need to go take my bath right away. Don’t want to keep the trainer waiting when they get here."

"Oh? I guess that’s right." Jin-Yeok said, but instead of dropping his hands, he tightened his grip and asked, "Since we brushed our teeth together, why don’t we bathe together?"

"What?!" I exclaimed and forced his hands down but I guess he let go in that instance because I never would’ve been able to free myself from his grip if he decided to hold on tight. "Please, stop messing with me, Master."

The word master lingered in his ear for a second. It suddenly didn’t sound right to him.

"I’ll just go now," I said and briskly walked away before he came up with any other weird ideas.

I practically sprinted down the hall, bracing myself for Jin-Yeok’s inevitable hand yanking me back by the collar, but nothing came.

Thankfully. I’d have had a hard time dealing with him if he had chased after me.

After my bath, my body felt at ease with May drying my hair and April making sure there was no drop of water left on my body.

By the time I was wrapped in a clean robe, hair being blow-dried, and body being dried thoroughly, the door opened.

And of course, Jin-Yeok walked in.

How he knew I was finished at that exact moment, I wondered. Maybe he had been watching with the cameras in my room.

My eyes rolled towards the cameras shamelessly pointed at me. Yeah, that must be it.

Pervert.

"The trainer’s here," he announced, leaning against the doorframe and taking a look at the process the maids were undergoing with me.

"I’ll be about done soon," I said but then paused as soon as I noticed something.

My eyes dragged down the grey colored skin-hugging shirt he’d changed into, then to the matching sweatpants that clung a little too comfortably.

He looked... ready. Ready for a nice workout.

I narrowed my eyes, not knowing they were lingering on his lower half as I dwelt in my thoughts and he noticed my eyeline.

Jin-Yeok’s grin spread across his chin and he asked,

"Do you like what you see?"
