Not long after Jesse Rowan left, Joan Harry woke up.

“Miss Harry, you’re awake?” the servant came over, “Would you like something to eat?”
“I’m a bit hungry, get me a bowl of red bean porridge, something mild is fine.” Joan Harry wasn’t very picky.

She glanced out the window; the rain had stopped, but the wind was strong.
