Chapter 859: Solution
The Legendary Recruit, Taylor, together with her steed, Stormbane, tore through the swarm of Zombies. Each swing of her blade sent a wave of energy that ripped through dozens of lower-tier zombies at once…
Stormbane was also unbothered by the rushing Zombies as it was protected by Taylor’s Iron Domain…
But even with all that power, there was something wrong.
“Why are they… regrouping?” Taylor muttered, noticing that the lesser zombies weren’t mindlessly charging anymore. They were moving strategically, surrounding her in curved lines, like they were herding prey.
It was a weird movement that these mindless shouldn’t possess in the first place…
At that same moment, Earl already finished off the last Corrupted Tyrant Zombie and was observing Taylor’s situation…
“They’re not supposed to move like that…” he muttered as his eyes followed the trail of movement done by the Zombies…
Then, from the cracks of the torn ground, a new figure emerged…
At first glance, it looked like another Tyrant… until it stood upright.
Its body was thin, far thinner than any Tyrant’s, but covered in bone armor… Its head was elongated, its jaw could even split into four, and black veins crawled across its chest where a crimson organ pulsed visibly…
Indeed, it was as if it had a heart exposed!
[ Zombie Lord Lithe has entered the battlefield. ]
Furthermore, the Zombie Lord wasn’t alone as more Corrupted Tyrant Zombies emerged!
Needless to say, the various people handling the information network noticed this and swiftly reported it to Cloud, who transferred the information to Shane.
[ First Zombie Lord has been sighted in the eastern sector. It’s being handled by Legendary Taylor and Earl. ]
“Just two of them? That’s not good…” Shane muttered as he knew that the Zombie Lord of the red night was definitely on a different scale…
[ Yes. The Zombie Lord is also controlling hundreds of low-tier to mid-tier Zombies. ]

As if confirming his words, the Zombie Lord called Lithe tilted its head, and the horde stopped moving. Then, all at once, their eyes glowed red…
At this time, Earl’s instincts flared. “Taylor! Brace yourself!”

“Cloud! I need heavy bombardment on my mark!” Shane ordered.

“Not yet…” Shane muttered, watching the scene.
He noticed that Earl and Taylor were still planning something and decided to hold back…
“Let’s see how much they can push before the next phase.”
On the battlefield, Taylor felt the tremor of approaching steps. A Tyrant slammed into her barrier and cracked it.
Another one leapt toward her.
Indeed, it actually leapt even with such a huge body!
She gritted her teeth and raised her sword again. “Fine then. You want it rough?”
Stormbane reared up and soon, lightning burst from its mane. The ground split apart as Taylor slammed her sword down, summoning a wave of electric energy that disintegrated everything within a ten-meter radius.
Boom!
Just like that, the Tyrant Zombie, including the Zombie Lord, screamed.
It was a screech that tore through the air, and the zombies around Lithe began to mutate in real time.
Their bones stretched, claws lengthened, and black fluid began pouring from their eyes.
The corruption was definitely reaching a higher level!
“Berserk State?” Taylor hissed.
Earl appeared beside her, panting slightly for the first time.
“So that’s how it is…”
Dozens of mutated zombies charged again, and without a doubt, they were faster than before. Even their auras had changed. There was now some crimson smoke pouring from their bodies like steam.
Earl slashed through one and barely managed to dodge another swipe.

This time, as they were thinking of going all out and using all of their Skills, Shane gave them a signal!
As soon as they heard it through their communication device, they immediately retreated!
“Cloud, now!” Shane ordered!

Suddenly, plasma bombardments rained down from the automated turrets stationed on the Floating Fortress above the Shelter!
Indeed, it was hidden through its stealth mode, and it only showed for a moment when it unleashed the payload! They didn’t want the Floating Fortress to be targeted by a Winged Zombie Lord after all.
Soon, dozens of Explosions lit up the plains like a second sunrise, turning the eastern sector into a sea of blue flames.
Taylor shielded Stormbane as the shockwaves rippled through her barrier.
When the smoke finally cleared, she exhaled heavily.
“That… should’ve done it.”
But then, there was movement.
From the burning wreckage, the Zombie Lord Lithe still stood, half of its body melted, but its single remaining eye was glowing even brighter.
“Taylor!” Earl shouted, appearing beside her. “It’s regenerating!”
The creature opened its mouth and screamed again.
This time, it wasn’t controlling zombies.
It was calling something else!
The ground cracked once again, and the two Legendary Recruits knew that they were in a tough spot…
From beneath the scorched earth, something massive began to rise!
A colossal Zombie with bone armor, four arms, and a head similar to a Siren Zombie appeared!
Shane’s eyes widened as the system flashed a new alert.
[ Zombie Lord Bell has entered the battlefield. ]
“Damn it… We’ve got two Zombie Lords on the field… They’re even together…”
At this point, Rayven wanted to make a move himself.
With his Bio-Armor and Mythic Grade Weapons, he should be fine dealing with it. However, Cloud had a better solution…
