Chapter 215: Nathaniel’s sexy gift

Chapter 215: Nathaniel’s sexy gift

When they returned home, Nathaniel received a call and went into the study. Zara was alone inside the bedroom. Her gaze lingered on the golden-wrapped box sitting on the bed, her mind running wild with curiosity.

’What gift had he prepared for her this time?’ she couldn’t stop wondering.

She carefully unwrapped the box and opened the lid, her heart thumping. But the instant her eyes landed on what was inside, she froze.

A soft piece of lingerie lay neatly folded in the box, its red color glowing under the light. Her cheeks instantly flushed with heat.

It was a sexy nightdress. Her pulse leapt to her throat.

She had bought one like this in the past to seduce Nathaniel. At the time, he had warned her not to wear something so revealing. But he himself bought her such a provocative nightdress. She bit down on her lip. An unspoken thrill at the thought of him choosing this for her made her blush even more.

Shyness overwhelmed her, but beneath it, an unfamiliar warmth curled low in her chest, leaving her flustered and breathless. Zara took it up and spread it in front of her eyes.

The nightdress was short – shockingly short. The lacy fabric barely reached the mid-thigh with a high slit in the middle that left little to the imagination. The neckline plunged deeply, held together by delicate straps that would slip off her shoulders with a little touch.

Zara’s face turned crimson as she thought, ’This is what he wants me to wear.’

She imagined herself in it, standing in front of Nathaniel, his gaze burning into her—her knees nearly buckled at the thought. Her heart hammered so loudly she was certain he would hear it if he walked in now. But beneath the overwhelming shyness, there was a thrill – thrill to see his reaction and hear his compliments.

In the meantime, Nathaniel entered. Zara’s heart took a leap. She instantly dropped the dress inside the box, ready to close it.

"What happened?" he asked. "You don’t like it."

Zara’s breathing became short. Of course, she loved it, but at the same time, she hesitated to accept it. Her already flushed cheeks turned redder at his closeness.

He strode toward her with unhurried steps, his eyes never leaving her face. Zara lowered her head, unable to meet his gaze. She tried to get away, but his arm shot out, circling her waist and pulling her flush against him.

"I chose this for you," he whispered. "I want to see you in this."

Zara’s pulse raced wildly as Nathaniel’s arm tightened around her waist, holding her firm against his chest.

Lifting her chin slightly, he made her look at him as he demanded, "Put it on for me."

Her eyelashes fluttered, heat spreading up to her ears. "I..."

"Still hesitating," he mumbled. "I didn’t buy this just to let it stay in a box. I want to see how beautiful you look in it."

His words melted away the little bit of resistance she had. She nodded faintly, taking the nightdress. She turned to walk into the closet.

"Where are you going?" he asked.

Zara froze, befuddled as she turned to him. "Didn’t you say you want me to wear this?"

"Yes, I did say that. But I want you to change it here."

Her heart thudded painfully at his demand. "You mean... here? In front of you?"

"Yes," he replied with a smile.

Zara’s body flushed hot. Her instinct was to hide, to run—but the longing in his eyes held her rooted. With trembling hands, she began undoing the buttons of her blouse. Each movement was slow, deliberate. Nathaniel’s gaze tracked her every motion.

When the blouse slipped off her shoulders, leaving her in the delicate lace beneath, he almost stopped breathing.

Zara’s knees weakened, but she continued, sliding out of her skirt, then she unhooked the bra. She dared to keep looking at him during the entire process.

As the bra slid down her shoulders, revealing her naked upper body, she felt heat spreading like a wildfire throughout her. Her nipples tightened.

Nathaniel’s gaze roved over her. He wanted nothing but to rush over to her, pin her down on the bed, and claim her right away. But he held himself back as he wanted to see how she looked in that nightdress.

She finally lifted the short nightdress over her head. The silky fabric clung to her curves, ending scandalously high on her thighs. She fidgeted, tugging at the hem in an attempt to pull it down a bit. But it was no use. She didn’t dare lift her head this time, too shy to meet his eyes.

Nathaniel’s throat bobbed as he swallowed hard and inspected her hungrily. He took measured steps toward her. When he reached her, his hand traced lightly down her arm, sending shivers across her skin.

"Zara," he whispered, his lips dangerously close to hers. "You have no idea... what you are doing to me right now."

Her hands twisted nervously in the fabric, but when his palm pressed gently against her waist, she melted into him, her body trembling yet craving more. The air was charged with a fevered tension that made her skin tingle.

She tilted her head back, her lips parting slightly as if inviting him in. Nathaniel didn’t waste another moment to claim her lips. His hand moved up her spine, sending fiery sensations throughout her. His fingers trailed over her shoulders, pushing the straps of her dress and letting them hang loosely over her arms.

Zara shuddered at his touch. Every brush of his finger sent electric sensations from inside out.

Nathaniel held her hand and pressed it against his chest. "Do you feel that?" His lips brushed over hers as he spoke. "How would I tell you how much I craved for you?"

She could feel the urgency in him, a heat that mirrored her own. She traced the contour of his chest, sliding her fingers inside his shirt. "Then don’t wait," she whispered back.

That was all he needed. In a flash, they were on the bed, Nathaniel on top of her. Their lips met again even more fiercely.

Nathaniel’s hands moved over her urgently, possessively, sliding down her back and drawing her closer to him. His mouth moved over hers with an insistence that made her gasp. His jaw flexed against hers, lips and teeth teasing, tasting, devouring, driving her into a dizzying swirl of heat.

Zara’s body burned wherever his hands trailed. She arched her back, pressing her hips into him, feeling his erection against her. Nathaniel responded with quiet groans, his eyes dark with hunger. With urgency, he shed his clothes and slid a condom over his hardening.

Zara watched every movement of his impatiently. Her lips parted again, craving his, needing to feel him closer. Nathaniel tilted her head, capturing her mouth again, teeth brushing lips, tongues battling for dominance. Just as she was consumed in the fiery kiss, she felt him entering her with a force that took her breath away.

Zara clutched at him, heart racing, skin flush with fire. Every inch of her inside clenched, ached for him. Her skin was alive, every nerve on fire. She wanted to lose herself completely, to surrender to the fevered rhythm of him, and she did. She melted into the storm that Nathaniel had ignited within her.

Each gasp, each sigh, each tremor of Zara’s body fueled Nathaniel’s hunger. He responded with low growls, thrusting harder and deeper.

The tension between them reached a fever pitch. Nathaniel’s hands gripped her hips, pulling her impossibly close as he moved wildly in and out. Zara quivered, every nerve screaming as pleasure coursed through her like molten fire.

Her cries mingled with his deep growls. Breathless, trembling, Nathaniel collapsed against her, his face buried in her shoulder. The storm of passion had passed, but the heat lingered, hearts still racing, breaths tangled.

Nathaniel wrapped his arms around her, holding her tightly. They didn’t move. They didn’t speak, and the peace of silence enveloped them. Their breathing slowed gradually, their pulse rates returning to normal. Soon, they drifted into sleep, still tangled with each other.

The day of the long-awaited event had finally arrived. The venue buzzed with energy. The guests filled the hall, eager to see the well-known international designer Rachel’s wedding collections.

Zara moved swiftly through the backstage area, scanning every detail. She checked in with the models, exchanged quick words with the stylists, and gave necessary instructions.

"Rachel will be here any moment," she reminded them. "Make sure everything is perfect."

"Zara," Bree called out with urgency, drawing Zara’s attention. "Come with me. The event planner wants to have a word with you."

"Yes, coming..." Zara gave a final glance at the stylists. "Arrange it exactly the way I told you. I’ll review it shortly."

She left with Bree.

The event planner was an enthusiastic lady. The moment she saw Zara, she hurried over, panic written all over her face. "There is a problem," she blurted with urgency. "I don’t know how it happened. A live wire is hanging loose on that side. If something sparks, the whole place could go up in flames."

"What? How did this happen?" Zara muttered, clearly disturbed.

"I have no idea," the event planner said, her face pallid. "It wasn’t there earlier."

Zara raised a hand and interrupted her. "This is not the time to find out how this has happened. We can do it later. The hall is full of guests. We need to fix it right away."

"I’ve already spoken to the staff," the woman assured quickly. "They are sending someone over right away."

While Zara was speaking with the event planner, Riya was busy with her own agenda. She watched silently, her eyes gleaming with malice. She couldn’t wait for the chaos to erupt.

"Soon, this joy will transform into chaos." Her lips curved into a sinister smile.
