Chapter 663: Unannounced Pregnancies
"They came in with a Y-20... Who knows what other planes they have that could blow us up if they got desperate?"
Everyone at the table fell into silence, as they all knew the main weakness of the town was its lack of air force to repel any air attack.
"Do we have 500 tonnes worth of food?" Yueuye questioned, realizing the massive number that Xiaoyun had just given.
"That’s why I’m going to need to work overtime for the next two, no three days. I’m going to sit in the storage room to make up for it."
"Wouldn’t it just be better for brother Xiaoyun to make the oil directly then?" Lily raised her question.
"It’s a lot harder for me to make gasoline compared to food... I can make ten jerry cans in a minute compared to an entire pallet stack of canned food."
"Honey, don’t push yourself too hard, okay?" Leyan softly asked as she looked a little worried.
"I know my limit..."
Just as everyone was about to finish their food, Kate suddenly got up from her seat before running straight to the sink.
"Blargh!——Fuck!"
"Kate, you okay?"
Both Leyan and Xiaoyun quickly got up from their seat, running over to the sink as everyone stopped eating, looking towards them with worried looks.
"I-I’m fine. D-Don’t look at me——Blargh!"
As Kate threw up again, everyone got up from their seat before Leyan signaled everyone to sit back down.
"Leyan, did you cook the food wrong?" Wuli questioned.
"I-It’s not Leyan’s fault——Blargh!"
Kate’s vomit eventually stopped as Leyan quickly directed Xiaoyun to get a small cup of water from the water dispenser.
"Rinse your mouth."
After rinsing her mouth, Kate felt much better as Leyan wiped the stains that had gotten stuck onto her mouth with a tissue.
"Take a seat and go relax... Don’t worry about the mess. I’ll clean this up myself later."
"Thank you..."
As Xiaoyun slowly walked Kate back to her seat, everyone’s face showed a little concern, seeing how pale she looked.
"Kate, are you okay?" Anna worryingly asked.
"I’m fine..."
"What do you mean you’re fine? You look like you got food poisoned or something. Leyan, are you sure you cooked the chicken fully?"
Wuli questioned again after noticing a little bit of red-like blood near the bone of the white cut chicken on one of the plates.
"I had left that thing steaming for almost an hour. There’s no way that chicken is still not cooked."
Leyan turned on the water before flipping a switch, causing a loud engine sound to echo in the kitchen as she walked back to her seat.
"What’s that noise?" Yueyue curiously asked.
"It’s the sink’s garbage disposal. Just let it run for a bit... Kate, are you feeling better now?"
Leyan asked. Her face didn’t seem to look concerned or bothered by it at all, almost as if she knew it wasn’t the food.
"Yeah..."
"Ahem, everyone can resume eating now. Don’t wait for the food to get cold."
"She literally just threw up. I’m not eating this food until you elaborate on what caused her to throw up."
Seeing Wuli and everyone else who looked a little hesitant to eat the food on the plate, Leyan turned over ot Kate.
"Kate, do you want me to say it or do you want to say it yourself?"
"I... I’ll say it."
Everyone turned their attention towards Kate as they all waited in silence. The reddness started to return to her face as she looked a little nervous.
"I... I’m pregnant."
"You what?"
Xiaoyun was the first one to react in shock, as he could vividly remember using protection for the past few times he had done it with Kate.
"How?"
Shuli curiously asked, looking just as confused as everyone else at the table, except for Anna, who seemed to start to realize something.
"We... We had sex once without protection outside a month ago."
As everyone turned their attention towards Xiaoyun, he immediately raised both of his hands into the air.
"I didn’t intend to make her pregnant. I swear it was a complete accident. There’s a big misunderstanding here."
Xiaoyun’s defense was completely futile as most of his wives all rolled their eyes. They didn’t trust a single word from him.
"Babe... I’m really disappointed in you." Yuqi murmured, with Nami and Lily both looking disapproving of what he had done.
"Forcing her to get pregnant. Do you really think we’re just a baby machine for you?" Yueyue questioned.
"Kate, we’ll make sure this idiot learns his lesson, okay? You don’t have to worry about carrying a baby in your arms."
Wuli murmured as she and Shuli both moved closer to gently pat her on the shoulder, their eyes looking at him with disgust.
Even Leyan and Tianci looked a little disappointed in him, as if he had committed the most unforgiving crime.
"Kate, say something. I’m getting scrapgoated here for no reason. This is bullshit. I wasn’t even——"
"Guys... It’s not Xiaoyun’s fault."
Despite Kate’s attempt to defend him, none of them took her answer seriously. In their mind, Xiaoyun had pressured her into having a creampie.
"What do you mean it’s not his fault? This idiot pressured you into letting him do it without protection, right?" Wuli questioned.
"I..."
The moment Kate fell into silence once again, everyone’s attention immediately turned towards Xiaoyun again.
However, before any of them could speak up, Anna suddenly jumped the gun in defending Xiaoyun.
"It’s not Xiaoyun’s fault... It’s my fault."
"What?"
This time, even Leyan looked a little puzzled. She had some intuition of what might have happened, but never thought Anna would cause it.
Everyone in the kitchen looked just as puzzled, as they all knew how close the two had been together ever since they moved into this house together.
"I was the one who told Xiaoyun t-to pump his seed inside her womb."
Anna shyly murmured, unable to elaborate any further as she looked away from everyone’s stares.
"You serious?" Leyan asked.
As everyone looked over to Kate and saw her nodding, they couldn’t understand how any of this could have happened.
"You guys remember how you all set up a bait for me to have... sex outside?"
"Sex outside? When did that happen?"
All of Xiaoyun’s wives finally realized what had happened, but they chose to act dumb as they didn’t want to expose themsleve that they had followed them that day.
"I-Its..."
With Anna struggling to answer and Kate sitting there in silence, Xiaoyun finally had enough of their acting.
"You all don’t need to act all innocent. You guys all followed me and Anna when we went out there, and you all just watched in silence when I did it with the two of them."
"What?"
Both Kate and Anna were shocked by the sudden revelation as the rest of Xiaoyun’s wives all looked to the side.
Their faces all blushed red a little, feeling a little embrassed to have the truth come out like this.
"Xiaoyun, when did you figure out when they were watching us?" Kate curiously asked.
"When you two went up to shower after that night, I caught them trying to go upstairs without making noises in their invisible cloak."
"You guys... I can’t believe you guys are so noisy..."
Anna complained, her mind felt angrier and angrier as she quickly realized it wasn’t just Kate who was a part of the whole betting plan that night.
"No wonder you guys all showed up in his bedroom when we came out of the shower that night..."
Kate murmured as she began to connect the dots in her head, realizing she herself had fallen into their playbook.
"Ahem, let’s get back on topic, Kate. What are you going to do with the baby?"
Leyan asked, forcefully changing the conversation away from themselves as they no longer had any rights to blame Xiaoyun.
"I... I think I’m going to keep it."
"Really?" Shuli murmured, with everyone at the table all looking a little surprised.
"I thought you didn’t want a baby," Yuqi questioned first.
"I still don’t. But it already happened... I don’t want to get an abortion. Who knows if I can get pregnant again?"
Everyone in the kitchen fell into silence as they realized what she was trying to imply. All of Xiaoyun’s wives had only one baby, except Leyan.
"That’s fine then. But you need to be more careful with your body. You don’t want to do anything that might hurt it." Leyan warned.
"I know——"
Before Kate could finish talking, Anna suddenly collapsed onto the table, covering her mouth with her two hands.
"Oh snap."
With no time to waste, Xiaoyun created a bucket out of thin air, putting it right between Anna’s lap as she couldn’t hold it any longer.
"Blargh!"
"Oh my... Look like someone else was also knocked up that night," Yueyue murmured as everyone watched in silence.
