Chapter 659: Checking Bodies
"Yours... Yours is an outlier. You don’t have the same problem anymore. She’ll have to wait, there’s no room for argument."
"I understand..."
Lily finally folded in the end, accepting Leyan’s decision as she wiped her watery eyes with her hands.
"And Xiaoyun, if you do anything stupid that damages her body, I’m going to chop your dick off," Leyan warned.
"Okay, okay."
With him backing down, it had become clear to everyone else at the table that Leyan’s decision had reached a unanimous vote.
"Lily... Sorry for disappointing you. I know you really wanted this day to be it, but I’m doing this for your sake."
Leyan softly whispered as she gently patted her on the back, trying to comfort Lily as she remained still.
"Wait a moment, you said we can’t have sex. But that’s nothing related to us being able to marry together."
"Do I look like an idiot? You’re going to pressure her into popping her cherry right on the wedding night."
"That’s just straight up false... Okay, maybe I don’t have the best track record. But I’m more than capable of controlling myself."
"It’s fine, brother Xiaoyun... I can wait two years."
Seeing Lily looking much more cheerful, as if she had gotten over it, Xiaoyun didn’t try to argue any further, accepting Leyan’s decision in the end.
"Ahem, now that we have finished eating the cake, how about we go watch a movie in the living room? A friend of mine gave me a DVD a few days ago."
Shuli quickly diverted the topic as the atmosphere felt way too heavy for a birthday celebration.
"Sure, let’s go."
As everyone got up from their chair, both Xiaoyun and Lily looked over to each other for a second before their fingers interwined with each other.
"I’m always watching," Leyan quietly warned, following right behind the two of them towards the sofa.
"We’re just holding hands. Nothing over the line." Xiaoyun argued, with Lily nodding in agreement.
Everyone else couldn’t help but let out a chuckle as they took a seat on the couch before the DVD’s case instantly caught their attention.
"This DVD is the only remaining copy. It’s supposed to be a movie that was about to be released if the outbreak hadn’t happened."
Shuli murmured as she loaded the disk into the DVD player, letting the TV start up first before connecting the cables.
"Really? That exclusive?" Wuli curiously asked, with everyone looking just as curious.
"Yep. I had to buy it from my coworker with a week’s worth of my salary... Let’s hope this works."

Two hours later...
As the movie rolled its credits, everyone in the living room was tearing up, except for Xiaoyun, who sat there in silence.
The plot was absolutely dogwater. A romance movie meant for couples that clearly targeted the female audience.
He could already imagine the movie being a smash hit on the Qixi festival or Valentine’s Day if the outbreak didn’t happen.
"Honey! He’s so selfless!"
Leyan cried as Xiaoyun handed each of them a small piece of tissue, nodding his head as he didn’t dare to speak up.
"He saved her so many different times, and now she’s the one saving him. Why couldn’t it just be a good ending at the end?"
Yuqi complained as she teared up just as hard, wiping it with the tissue as the other girls all nodded in agreement.
As the credits came to an end, everyone finally calmed down a little as the DVD tray popped back out with the disk.
"That was definitely worth the money," Shuli murmured as she put the disk back into the casing before putting it into the TV cabinet.
"Ahem, I’m going to go take a shower."
Xiaoyun finally couldn’t endure the sound of the woman sobbing as he headed upstairs by himself, leaving his wives on the couch.
"What’s up with him?" Yueyue questioned.
"I don’t know... We should probably take a shower as well, though. It’s getting late." Kate murmured as it was past nine.
They all looked to each other for a second before getting up, but before they could head upstairs, they all turned over to Lily.
"Can you watch the babies?" Leyan pleaded.
"Okay."
Everyone else headed up the stairs as Lily sat on the sofa all alone, with the babies playing with their Lego bricks on the floor.
"Sister Lily! I-I’m g-geting sleepy!"
"M-Me too!"
"Okay, let me carry you guys back to bed."
As Lily carried them back to their crib in the baby’s room one by one, she soon found herself sitting in the living room all alone.
She could hear the sound of water running upstairs, with a hint of chatting barely audible through the thick walls.
"I really want to go up too..."

"Honey! Where are you at?"
"What?"
As Xiaoyun stood in the shower area, his wives slid the glass door open before walking in one by one, fully naked.
"Aww, are you still upset that I didn’t let you be with Lily?" Leyan jokingly asked as she grabbed onto one of the showerheads.
"No? Why would I be upset over that? I know you’re doing it with both of us in mind... But it would have been nicer if you had told me in advance."
Hearing the hint of grumpiness, Leyan moved closer as her hand slowly moved down to his legs.
"Sorry, I know I should have told you about it sooner. But I only knew about it for a few days when you were still gone.
I just didn’t know how to bring it up in a conversation. If you want to punish me over the delay, I’m all for it."
"Ahem, Mom, can we just take a shower? Lily is still waiting downstairs with the babies."
Yuqi’s voice ended Leyan’s attempt as she felt a little embarrassed being called out, especially when everyone else was just taking a shower.
"You guys can keep showering, I’m done."
As Xiaoyun exited the shower area, Leyan went back to her side of the shower area as she glanced over to Yuqi with a hint of irritation.
"Why did you stop me? I was so close to making him have sex in the shower with us."
"Mom, are you really that sex crazed? We just had sex with him last night." Yueyue murmured.
"Shut up."
Just as the bathroom returned to everyone taking their shower in silence, a faint scream could be heard from the bathroom exit.
"What the... Was that Lily’s voice?" Wuli questioned as she stood closest to the glass door exit.
"I think so——"
Before Shuli and the rest of the girls could comment back, they were a little surprised to see Lily walking into the shower fully naked.
"Oh, hey Lily, why are you here?" Wuli curiously asked after seeing her face, seemingly to be perfectly fine.
"The babies went to sleep, so I thought I could go take a shower with you guys."
As Shuli opens the glass door for Lily to enter, she quickly heads over to the empty shower head next to Nami.
"Lily, did you scream earlier?" Leyan asked softly, remembering the noise from the outside earlier.
"Yeah... I didn’t expect to see brother Xiaoyun changing there." Lily shyly explained as she turned on the showerhead.
"What are the odds?" Kate murmured to herself as she began washing her hair with shampoo.
"Um, I know this might sound a little offensive, but Leyan, I finally understand why you told her to wait now."
Anna’s comment immediately made Lily blush a little, as she didn’t bother to hide her glance towards Lily’s private part in the slightest.
"It’s not that small..."
Lily shyly turned around, looking towards the wall to avoid having them examine her body any further.
"It can’t be that small, could it?" Yuqi questioned, as she herself has one of the smaller entrances among Xiaoyun’s wives.
"It’s really just that small... It’s probably due to malnutrition in the past that hindered her body’s development."
Leyan’s explanation made everyone nod their head internally as they all remembered how Xiaoyun and Yueyue found Lily in the first place.
But it still left a little question in Kate’s mind, one that had been bothering her a little the whole time.
"Hey Lily, I’m just curious, why are you calling Leyan Mom all of a sudden? Didn’t you use to call her Auntie Leyan or Sister Leyan?"
"Yeah, why is that?" Yueyue immediately joined in, looking just as curious as her.
"She has been very nice to me. That’s all." Lily answered, not wanting to elaborate any further as she began shampooing her hair.
"She’s my adopted daughter. You three have a problem with it?" Leyan questioned as she looked over to her three daughters.
"Nope," Yuqi answered first.
"I’m fine with it," Yueyue added.
"Lily, you need to start calling me nee-san, you got it?" Nami demanded, her face grinning as she tried to lean over for a hug.
"You wish," Lily jokingly argued, elbowing her away as she busily scrubbed her hair with the shampoo.
