Chapter 802: Chapter 803: Don’t Stand So Close to Me

“Xiangyang, is it inappropriate to investigate on our own? After all, Yishan is a girl that Yuanyuan himself has approved of.”

“It’s precisely because he approved of her himself, that we need to conduct an investigation!” Li Xiangyang felt, if it were just any girl to fulfill a duty, then Huo Yishan’s identity might not be of significant standing, naturally warranting an investigation.

However, Xia Ximeng knew her son’s nature well, “But if you investigate, our son will definitely be upset.”

“That can’t stop us!”

Li Xiangyang’s voice still echoed in the living room, yet Li Yuan, who had already gone upstairs, wasn’t too worried.

Since the President had protected his daughter so well, it would probably be quite difficult to dig up anything.

Upon reaching the floor, he went straight into his room, and upon entering, the sight of the bulge on the bed gave Li Yuan a moment of pause.

He had thought his mother would take her to a guest room, but hadn’t expected her to be brought straight into his room.

Looking at the sleeping figure on the bed, he moved his feet lightly and walked slowly over.

As the entire room was carpeted in pure white, there were no sounds of footsteps as he approached, and Huo Yishan on the bed also slept very soundly.

Staring at her sleeping face, Li Yuan suddenly became mesmerized, and couldn’t help but lift his hand to gently touch her delicate nose.

Huo Yishan was sleeping deeply, her breathing even, and his gentle gesture did not wake her up.

After watching her for a few minutes, Li Yuan then walked over to the sofa, pulling out a notebook as if to deal with something.

About an hour later, the door was gently nudged open, and Xia Ximeng walked in carrying a plate of fruit.

From the sofa, hearing the sound of the door, Li Yuan turned his head.

Xia Ximeng smiled warmly, “Mom has cut some fruit.”

Having said that, she glanced at the bed and noticed that Huo Yishan was still not awake.

She walked in softly, placing the plate of fruit on the coffee table in front of her son and then whispered, “Mom won’t disturb you.”

Knowing that talking here might wake up the deeply sleeping Huo Yishan, after setting down the fruit, Xia Ximeng also turned and left.

It wasn’t until the setting sun had set that Huo Yishan slowly woke up.

This sleep she had found quite satisfying.

Rolling over, she woke with a hint of pleasure, lazily stretching before opening her eyes.

“You’re awake?”

The sudden sound startled the half-asleep Huo Yishan awake, and she sat up, staring at the man leisurely seated on the sofa, “Why are you here?”

Li Yuan curved his lips into a light smile, put down the notebook in his hand, and stood up walking toward the grand European-style bed.

Then, his tall frame leaned over her, completely enveloping her petite form, his sensual lips sketching an ambiguous smile, his voice so deep it could cause a woman to sink into it.

“My room, why can’t I be here?”

Huo Yishan blinked her large eyes in surprise, “You, your room?”

He didn’t speak, just playfully curled the corner of his mouth, intently watching her.

Huo Yishan looked around and realized that there was no dressing table even, confirming it indeed was a gentleman’s bedroom.

But… why had his mother brought her here to rest? With such a large house, shouldn’t there be many guest rooms?

Turning her head and meeting his gaze so close, she inexplicably blushed.

“You, don’t come so close to me.” She pushed him away, intending to get out of bed.

The very next second, he pushed her back down!

She didn’t know what instinct it was, but she suddenly screamed out, “What are you doing!?”
