A white giant bear appeared before Bai Ye, looking no different from an ordinary polar bear, except for three icicles forming an inverted "mountain" shape beneath its chin, resembling a beard.
A Tundra Bear!
This was a relatively common beast in the glaciers, nearly three meters tall, with a very irritable temper. Bai Ye now felt it might be more than just irritable; it could be ferocious.
Because there was blood!
The Tundra Bear before him was clearly injured, its white fur stained red with blood. Pain should be inciting the Tundra Bear to go mad.
As expected, the moment the Tundra Bear saw Bai Ye, it suddenly charged, rushing towards him.
Bai Ye did not dodge. As the Tundra Bear approached, he directly pressed his hand onto its head, pushing its head down, and then…
With a loud bang!
The two collided squarely, emitting a dull thud.
Bai Ye withstood the Tundra Bear’s charge with his body without falling behind, then he grabbed one of the Tundra Bear’s arms and immediately…
Pfft!
The Dragon Claw technique was unleashed. Bai Ye gripped forcefully, leaving five bloody wounds on the Tundra Bear.
The Tundra Bear roared and retreated, then it suddenly opened its mouth and spewed a large amount of frost and snow.
The frost and snow flew forward, freezing the surrounding walls, ground, and ceiling as it passed. However, Bai Ye swiftly moved sideways, dodging the area covered by the frost and snow.
Generally, wild beasts were undoubtedly weaker than owned beasts. Besides being inherently weaker due to lack of cultivation, they also fought without discipline due to the absence of a commander.
For instance, the current Tundra Bear was just randomly spewing frost and snow. Wherever Bai Ye dodged, it attacked, without any foresight. How could it possibly hit Bai Ye?
In an instant, Bai Ye reached the Tundra Bear and pushed off with his legs!
Bang!
Bai Ye actively rammed the Tundra Bear, then used the butt strike of the Dragon Claw technique, forcefully shoving the Tundra Bear flying away.
With a loud crash, the Tundra Bear was sent flying back more than two meters, hitting the ground heavily.
Bai Ye crouched, intending to continue his attack while the Tundra Bear was down, but at this moment…
Clang, clang, clang, clang, clang…
A metallic clanging sound came from above Bai Ye’s head.
Bai Ye’s attention was drawn, and he couldn’t help but look up, then…
With another clang, a metal plate fell from above the Tundra Bear. Immediately after, a jet-black, chitin-covered, columnar tail extended from the ceiling, segment by segment like a spine, with a very sharp and pointed stinger at the tip.
With a pfft!
The stinger at the tail’s end pierced directly into the Tundra Bear’s throat. Then, the Tundra Bear’s massive body was abruptly lifted and dragged into the ceiling.
A violent tremor sounded, and large amounts of blood flowed from within the ceiling. One could even clearly hear the sounds of chewing.
Bai Ye cursed under his breath and began to retreat continuously.
An Alien had arrived!
Bai Ye quickly retreated from the corridor and, after turning a corner, headed in another direction, but…
Clang, clang, clang…
From above the ceiling, the metallic clanging sound rang out again. Clearly, the Alien was chasing him again.
“Ning Shuang, sword control!”
Bai Ye decisively shouted, and then the Ning Shuang Sword transformed into a streak of light and shot upwards, shattering a piece of the ceiling.
Bai Ye took out a grenade, threw it forcefully into the ceiling, and then sprinted forward, leaping to create distance.
Boom!
The sound of an explosion followed closely.
A section of the ceiling was directly blown apart, with bursts of flames erupting continuously. Black smoke filled the corridor.
Bai Ye sat up from the ground, looking at the spreading flames ahead. Suddenly…
The spinal tail appeared, piercing directly through the flames and heading towards Bai Ye.
Clang!
Bai Ye quickly swung the Snake Tail Maru, its blade striking the Alien’s tail and knocking it aside.
With a boom, the wall instantly caved in, creating a hole.
From the flames, a monster emerged.
Its body was vaguely humanoid, covered in insectoid chitin. Its hands and feet had sharp claws, and its oval head was almost fused with the carapace, making its eyes indistinct. However, it possessed a gaping maw, revealing rows of fine teeth when opened. As for the terrifying tail, it was self-evident.
This creature was the polar opposite of the Predator.
Predators possessed high intelligence, and while their physical attributes were not weak, they relied more on technological weapons, combat experience, and strategy for hunting.
Aliens, on the other hand, had almost no intelligence, relying mostly on their killing instincts and formidable physical strength for combat. They were known as perfect combat organisms, with virtually no flaws in their physiology from a combat perspective.
However, even though the Alien’s body was tough, the explosion had been effective. The carapace on its body had some noticeable cracks and burn marks, but unfortunately, no fatal injuries.
Meanwhile…
After emerging from the flames, the Alien suddenly accelerated and charged towards Bai Ye.
Bai Ye quickly sprung to his feet and swung his blade forward.
While running, the Alien’s tail had already struck out, aiming directly for Bai Ye’s face.
Clang!
The Snake Tail Maru struck the tail, slicing it aside, and then…
Bang!
Facing the charging Alien, Bai Ye directly met it head-on.
A tremendous force struck him, making Bai Ye wince. The monster’s strength was far greater than a Predator’s!
Bai Ye’s body was continuously pushed backward.
Suddenly, the Alien opened its mouth towards Bai Ye. Just as Bai Ye thought it was going to bite him, a stinger-like tongue shot out from its throat.
Bai Ye felt a sting on his cheek. The stinger-like tongue grazed his face, leaving a wound, and then embedded itself in the wall behind him, piercing through it with ease.
Missing its target, the Alien became even more enraged. It headbutted Bai Ye, lifting him into the air.
With a clang!
Bai Ye’s back slammed into the ceiling, causing a loud noise and showering metal plates. The Alien then slammed Bai Ye onto the ground and opened its gaping maw.
This time, it truly intended to bite Bai Ye to death. However, Bai Ye was prepared. As the Alien’s maw descended, Bai Ye directly threw a burning talisman into its mouth.
“Fire Curse!”
…
