Fu Jingshu nodded in agreement.
As they were talking, the car suddenly braked hard. The old man, being smaller, almost flew forward. Angrily, he clutched his bumped forehead and grumbled.
“How are you driving?!”
King leaned out to check the situation. It turned out a car had cut them off and was stopped in the middle of the road. A young man with a refined appearance sat on the curb beside the car.
Upon seeing him, the man’s eyes lit up. After hesitating for a long time, he approached. “Could you perhaps help me?”
King glanced at the car and said nothing. He turned to the people inside. “It seems the car broke down and is blocking the road. Do you want to help?”
Actually, they had no choice but to help. If they didn’t, they couldn’t get past the car.
Shen Qingqing looked at the driver. “Go help him.”
The driver went.
The man expressed his heartfelt gratitude. Seeing that no one else intended to get out of the car, he didn’t bother them, feeling somewhat relieved instead. He briefly explained the situation to the driver, who then went to the trunk to get a rope for towing.
