In the ancient chaos, a green lotus had germinated, named the Thirty-Six-Grade Chaos Green Lotus, a supreme treasure of chaos.
That green lotus had a lotus pod that was nurturing five lotus seeds. When Pangu split the heavens, influenced by the cataclysm, the lotus pod disappeared without a trace.
The green lotus before them now was born from one of those five lost lotus seeds.
It was named the "Twenty-Four-Grade Creation Green Lotus," a spiritual treasure of chaos. Due to the limitations of the Heavenly Dao, it could not be perfectly preserved, which was why, as soon as it appeared, tribulation clouds gathered, bringing down lightning tribulations to destroy it.
Upon learning the origin of the green lotus, Li Yi said to Yuanshi and Tongtian, "Since this green lotus is not tolerated by the Heavenly Dao, why don't we brothers divide it into three?"
Yuanshi and Tongtian nodded.

"Just now, this place was filled with myriad rays of auspicious light and flying purple qi. A spiritual treasure must have appeared. Since there is no one else here, you three must have taken my treasure.
Return my treasure quickly. This ancestor will be magnanimous and will not hold it against you three. Otherwise? Hmph!"
Tongtian was impatient. Before Li Yi and Yuanshi could react, Tongtian stepped forward and said,
"Otherwise, what? Old man, you want to rob my three brothers? You don't even know what you are! Ptooey!"
After Tongtian finished speaking, he even spat at the old man!
The old man's face instantly turned ugly.
He roared in anger, "Who in the Great Desolation, with a name and a reputation, dares to humiliate me like this? You young whelp are so rude, daring to insult me. Today, I must take your life to quell the hatred in my heart."
