Chapter 746 The Great Battle Against the Snow Demon Spirit

Chen Tian faced the Snow Demon Spirit. Defeating it was a struggle, but Chen Tian was not afraid. The Snow Demon Spirit had low intelligence, allowing Chen Tian to control the flow of battle. Chen Tian moved, his entire body enveloped in flames, crackling and burning around him. This time, the flames were condensed using Heavenly Dao power, which Chen Tian could now generate continuously. He was, in essence, a walking embodiment of the Heavenly Dao. Flames forged from Heavenly Dao power were something the Snow Demon Spirit's snow could not contend with.

He unleashed his fists, the scorching flames seeming to melt the very world around them. The surface of the snow-covered mountain began to steam as the snow melted. This was the first time Chen Tian had managed to melt snow. As his fists closed in on the Snow Demon Spirit, its nascent consciousness sensed that it should not meet the attack head-on. The Snow Demon Spirit dove into the ground, its form gradually disappearing into the snow. Chen Tian increased the speed of his punches. Once the Snow Demon Spirit was submerged in snow, it would be difficult for him to strike it, but Chen Tian's fists were faster than the Snow Demon Spirit.

The punch landed squarely on the Snow Demon Spirit's shoulder, a sizzling sound erupting. Steam billowed into the sky. On the Snow Demon Spirit's shoulder, the searing flames completely melted its icy armor. Chen Tian's hand continued forward. The Snow Demon Spirit cried out in pain. Its body, which had been sinking into the snow, sprang out. Caught by surprise, Chen Tian had to reduce the force of his punch. He retreated a few steps. A deep, fiery fist imprint was seared onto the Snow Demon Spirit's shoulder.

The Snow Demon Spirit looked at its shoulder, roaring at Chen Tian, its eyes burning with fury. This was exactly what Chen Tian had intended. His primary goal was to enrage the Snow Demon Spirit. Once enraged, it would no longer think of escaping. Chen Tian had injured it, and it was unlikely to tolerate such pain and flee, especially on its home turf. This was the snow-covered land, where the Snow Demon Spirit's abilities were maximized, and it had no reason to fear Chen Tian.

Its roars echoed, sending shockwaves towards Chen Tian's face. A barrier materialized before Chen Tian, deflecting the sound waves. The surrounding snow began to swirl upwards in response to the roar. This was the first time Chen Tian had witnessed snow swirling on a mountain. Snowflakes descended from the sky, a beautiful, yet dangerous spectacle. Chen Tian remained vigilant, wary of the beauty that masked a deadly intent.

Chen Tian was on high alert. Under the Snow Demon Spirit's control, the falling snowflakes transformed into countless streaks of white light, attacking Chen Tian from all directions, like being trapped in a hail of bullets. Chen Tian's body was covered by a barrier, with flames erupting outside it, preventing the snowflakes from reaching him.

Chen Tian stepped forward. He knew that as long as the Snow Demon Spirit continued to control the surrounding snow, the attacks would not cease. Chen Tian did not want to be worn down; there was no shortage of snow on the mountain. The entire mountain could be controlled by the Snow Demon Spirit. Chen Tian had to end this quickly. The Snow Demon Spirit, seeing Chen Tian charge towards it, stomped its feet. The snow beneath its feet transformed into sharp spikes, erupting from the ground and surging towards Chen Tian.

Chen Tian, seeing this, conjured flames into dual swords. He swung them continuously, severing the snow spikes before him. His advance slowed. The Snow Demon Spirit repeatedly pounded the snow with its hands, sending waves of white snow rippling across the ground. Chen Tian plunged his dual swords into the ground, but he was forced to retreat by the onslaught of snowy waves.

This was a forced retreat skill. Chen Tian found himself being pushed further away from the Snow Demon Spirit. He used his dual swords planted in the ground to mitigate the retreat, but he was still moving backward. After dozens of powerful blows to the ground, Chen Tian and the Snow Demon Spirit's distance increased significantly. Chen Tian pulled out his swords and exploded forward with a speed greater than before.

Chen Tian's speed surged. The Snow Demon Spirit manifested a layer of snow armor, several thick layers completely encasing its body, instantly increasing its defense manifold. Chen Tian's fists, wreathed in flames, struck the Snow Demon Spirit. The snow armor melted, but this time Chen Tian's fists did not hit the creature's true form; they were caught within too many layers of armor.

On the other side of the snow mountain, in a city, an old man appeared. Two old men converged in the city. One of them spoke, "How did things go?"

"It's done. As long as that person travels to the snow mountain and the sun, they will obtain those two items."

If Chen Tian were here, he would recognize these two old men as identical to those he had encountered before. The two old men seemed to know each other. It was indeed a massive conspiracy involving Chen Tian.

Unfortunately, Chen Tian was unaware of all this. However, it was clear that the two old men harbored no ill will towards him. Listening to their words, it seemed they were helping Chen Tian. The two figures vanished from the city, as if they had never existed.

In the snow mountain, Chen Tian's fists were stuck in the opponent's armor. The Snow Demon Spirit had layered too much armor, and Chen Tian's fiery fists were trapped. The Snow Demon Spirit's icy blue eyes fixed on Chen Tian. Snowflakes slowly drifted from its back, forming sharp icicles that shot out. Chen Tian's body was engulfed in flames, preventing him from immediately leaving. Chen Tian increased the strength of his fists, then abruptly pulled back, performing a series of backflips to evade several ice shard attacks.

Chen Tian landed on the ground, stabilizing himself. The Snow Demon Spirit was proving difficult to handle; Chen Tian had yet to subdue it. The Snow Demon Spirit's abilities were too troublesome, and its eyes, filled with rage, had clearly driven it to lose all reason.

Now, it only wished for Chen Tian to perish without a burial place. Snow accumulated on its arms, making them incredibly thick and monstrously large. Its enormous arms descended, smashing heavily onto the ground.

RUMBLE!

A sound erupted from beneath the ground. White lava spewed forth from beneath Chen Tian's feet, engulfing him completely.

Chen Tian was submerged in the snow-white lava. Fortunately, his body was already immune to fire. Chen Tian stood in the center, and the Snow Demon Spirit's attack inflicted zero damage upon him.

As the attack dissipated, Chen Tian emerged unscathed before the Snow Demon Spirit. Astonishment filled the Snow Demon Spirit's eyes. This creature had taken its most powerful attack and suffered no harm.

Its eyes could hardly believe it. Its most potent move was completely ineffective against Chen Tian.

Chen Tian said calmly, "Do you have any other tricks? If not, it's my turn."

Chen Tian wanted to end this quickly, to defeat the Snow Demon Spirit in one blow. This was Chen Tian's conclusion. The Snow Demon Spirit's abilities were problematic, compounded by the natural environment of the snow mountain. Chen Tian's decision to go for a one-hit kill was the correct one.

Chen Tian's arm was enshrouded in multiple types of energy, an unknown mixture, chaotic and complex. Chen Tian possessed the ability to control energy, at Level Two, and had no fear of energy reactions or explosions that could harm him.
