Facing Chen Tai's praise, Bi Shui paid it no mind. All he wanted was to kill Chen Tian. His fists were then wrapped in black energy, and his shield on his arm moved, instantly attacking Chen Tian with speed faster than before.
Chen Tian opened his left arm, and countless starlight transformed into a vast starry net that shot towards Bi Shui. Bi Shui, seeing the starry net, gathered black energy onto his shield. Instantly, blade-like black energy grew from the shield. As the blade light flashed, the starry net was shattered.
Chen Tian looked at Bi Shui before him, unsurprised by his actions. However, Chen Tian hadn't expected the assimilation with the Evil Spirit race to be so severe.
He then slowly extended his finger, and the surrounding starlight exploded outwards. The resulting starlight fragments scattered in all directions. Bi Shui blocked them with his shield, remaining unharmed.
Just as Bi Shui was about to attack, Chen Tian clenched his fists. The exploded starlight instantly formed a cage, trapping Bi Shui within. Bi Shui unleashed his full power, black energy coiling around his fists. Black light flickered in his eyes, and he punched out, causing the starlight cage to explode. Then, black wings slowly unfurled on his back as he soared towards Chen Tian in the starry sky.
Chen Tian slowly rose, his arm moving to his back. He then grasped his spear, transforming into a beam of light. Bi Shui had been severely assimilated, and to prevent disaster, Chen Tian decided to kill him and erase his existence.
This was for the world. The Starry Sky Spear in Chen Tian's hand turned into a beam of starlight, shooting straight towards Bi Shui. They collided instantly, the starry sky shaking. Chen Tian and Bi Shui’s figures clashed continuously upwards into the sky.
An explosion then resounded. Chen Tian and Bi Shui looked at each other. Bi Shui’s hands had turned into black claws, his wings on his back becoming more lifelike. Black air currents filled his body, and a terrifying, strange power and aura affected the surrounding starry sky.
Fortunately, Chen Tian could control the starry sky. Otherwise, this expanse would have exploded and vanished. Chen Tian looked at Bi Shui and swung his spear, his figure then moving towards Bi Shui.
Bi Shui’s eyes showed a cold glint. The blade on his shield slowly elongated to several centimeters, forming a shield-sword on his arm. He then swung his arms.
Chen Tian’s spear thrust out, but it was blocked by the shield’s surface. The shield-sword on his other hand then swung towards Chen Tian's head. Chen Tian forcefully parried upwards with his spear, leaving a mark of sparks on the shield. He then swung his spear to the left, instantly knocking away the shield-sword.
Spear-type weapons are longer than swords, and there’s truth to the saying that an inch longer means an inch stronger. Chen Tian effectively used the spear’s length advantage for both attack and defense.
Simultaneously, he jabbed forward with his winged arm. Numerous spear phantom images appeared before Bi Shui. Bi Shui clashed his shield together and retreated repeatedly.
Chen Tian was currently at an advantage, constantly attacking. Spear shadows struck the shield repeatedly, causing cracks to appear, as if it would shatter the next second. Suddenly, black eyes emitted a glow. Seeing this, Chen Tian abandoned his attack and retreated.
A surge of black energy erupted from Bi Shui's body, dispersing the surrounding starlight. Bi Shui then looked at Chen Tian with pitch-black eyes and said in a strange voice, "My power, this is my power. I won't let you tell anyone."
Chen Tian looked at Bi Shui before him. He still had a trace of reason, but only a trace. He was about to be consumed by the Evil Spirit race, and eventually, his entire consciousness would vanish. If Chen Tian didn't erase his existence, the Evil Spirit race would appear in the real world.
Chen Tian didn't want that. The abilities of martial artists were simply insufficient to resist the Evil Spirit race. Therefore, Chen Tian had no choice but to resolve to kill him.

Just as Chen Tian thought it was over, black liquid slowly seeped from the fragments of Bi Shui's original body, permeating all the bloody fragments. These fragments then merged with the help of the black liquid.
Then, with an explosion, Bi Shui's body completely transformed into rain, scattering across the ground. Chen Tian looked at the figure before him and said, "Still a step too late?"
Chen Tian looked at the Evil Spirit race before him. Its appearance was similar to Bi Shui's, but its body was entirely different. Xie Liu also spoke, "A pity, Divine Lord, you were a step too late. I have finally resurrected again, hahaha!"
"What's there to be happy about? Your resurrection is just another death!"
"Hmph! Divine Lord, do you think the current you is my opponent? I have fully resurrected while you only have half your strength, or even less. Killing you would be as easy as pie."
Xie Liu spoke menacingly. His eyes then flashed, and Chen Tian felt his space compressing, as if it would crush him. Chen Tian waved his hand, as if something had shattered, and calmly said, "Don't bother with such tricks. You'll know if you can kill me by trying."
Chen Tian wasn't afraid of the opponent. It was merely an Evil Spirit race. Even if he couldn't use his abilities and his strength hadn't recovered, Chen Tian wasn't scared. After all, he was used to it, and it wouldn't be easy for the opponent to kill him.
Then, Chen Tian's aura erupted, his Starry Sky Wings on his back filling with power. The entire starry sky entered Chen Tian's body.
