In the void, Ge Zi watched the Shadow Kill Shatter be destroyed. His entire body then radiated with brilliance, and his pure white wings unfurled, making him look like an angel. He was clad in armor of white light, and the shield in his hand shrank significantly, becoming about half its original size.
Ge Zi's left hand slowly reached for the scabbard at his waist. A ssshing sound accompanied the drawing of his longsword, its brilliance and purity unmatched. The sword stood upright, radiating angelic light.
Ge Zi's aura surged to its peak. With the Divine Spirit Sword in his left hand and the Divine Spirit Shield in his right, he confidently faced Shadow Kill Shatter.
Shadow Kill Shatter looked at Ge Zi, who was entirely different from before, and asked, "So this is your true strength?"
He felt no fear, for he too hadn't used his full power.
Dark, bizarre wings slowly unfurled from his back, his hands transformed into black claws, and his eyes turned completely black. A black tail then grew from his back, resembling a gecko's, but covered in black scales.
His body was encased in armor formed from scales. Shadow Kill Shatter spoke, "You are worthy of pride for forcing me to use my second profession. Come! Fight to your heart's content!"
Ge Zi was stunned for a moment. He hadn't expected Shadow Kill Shatter to be level seventy and a player who had activated his second profession. However, he had never seen such a profession before.
The dark, bizarre, and evil aura made him deeply uncomfortable, a feeling of innate dislike. Ge Zi's eyes flashed with cold light. He hated this form of his opponent for reasons he couldn't quite explain.
He then flapped his wings, a white light streaking like a meteor, instantly appearing before Shadow Kill Shatter. His longsword slashed out.
The white light of the sword shone brilliantly, illuminating the void.
As the Divine Spirit Sword descended, Shadow Kill Shatter's claws erupted with black afterimages, which he swung forward. His claws met the body of the Divine Spirit Sword, and a rumbling wave of energy swept through the void.
Ge Zi and Shadow Kill Shatter were locked in a stalemate. Ge Zi then unleashed a full-powered swing, forcing Shadow Kill Shatter to retreat continuously. However, Shadow Kill Shatter's wings unfurled, and he quickly stabilized himself.
But then, a cold glint flashed from Ge Zi. The space around him distorted, and he instantly appeared behind Shadow Kill Shatter, his Divine Spirit Sword carrying blinding light and its blade, slashing down.
Shadow Kill Shatter's wings unleashed a fierce black wind, blowing Ge Zi directly backward.
The black wind roared and billowed, like a tornado, tearing through heaven and earth.
Ge Zi raised his shield to block. His right hand brought the shield forward. The black wind struck the shield, pushing Ge Zi backward.
Simultaneously, a faint black light flashed, and a pair of claws suddenly appeared before Ge Zi. Seeing this, Ge Zi swung his shield diagonally, the shield's surface meeting the claws. Shadow Kill Shatter then inverted his body, his legs transforming into the black legs of a mantis, and he attempted to strike Ge Zi from both sides.
Ge Zi was taken aback. Was this another attack pattern?
Ge Zi understood his opponent's intent. He reversed the direction of his shield on his arm, causing it to split. Instantly, shield edges appeared on both sides of his right arm. He then swung his right arm forcefully, the shield edges aimed at the mantis legs.
Shadow Kill Shatter's mantis legs were repelled, but his double claws seized the opportunity and lunged towards Ge Zi's neck. Ge Zi swept his left hand, the Divine Spirit Sword, horizontally, and both of them retreated once more.
In this form, Shadow Kill Shatter had no forced knockback effect, so Ge Zi and he were evenly matched. Their levels and attributes were the same; it was a battle of combat awareness and skills.
Ge Zi flapped his wings, deciding this time to attack proactively and not give his opponent any openings. He stepped forward, the space distorting, and instantly appeared behind Shadow Kill Shatter. He swung the Divine Spirit Sword, but Shadow Kill Shatter's tail whipped out, elongating and striking Ge Zi's Divine Spirit Sword, forcing Ge Zi to retreat again.
"Attacking from behind doesn't work? Then I'll attack head-on!"
Seeing his back attacks were ineffective, Ge Zi abandoned any attempts at stealth and decided to engage in a direct confrontation. The Divine Spirit Sword in his hand radiated divine light, its brilliance shining, and he charged directly at Shadow Kill Shatter.
Shadow Kill Shatter watched Ge Zi charge. His double claws elongated, and stepping forward, he transformed into a beam of light and rushed towards Ge Zi.
White and black light beams collided continuously in the void, accompanied by explosions. Their figures tested each other amidst the clashes.
Ge Zi's Divine Spirit Shield defended, and his Divine Spirit Sword attacked. He seemed unfazed by Shadow Kill Shatter's moves, while Shadow Kill Shatter easily countered Ge Zi's advances.
Then, both of them retreated simultaneously. White light began to emanate from Ge Zi's Divine Spirit Sword, growing brighter and brighter, like a white sun, as if it were about to illuminate the entire void.
Ge Zi's shield then released a golden phantom, as if responding. The surrounding void was filled with converging energy, causing violent cracks that then repaired themselves.
Shadow Kill Shatter knew his opponent was about to use his ultimate move. He dared not delay, this was a decisive blow, and he didn't want to waste any more time. He wanted to finish quickly and help his other clones, lest they all be eliminated.
Shadow Kill Shatter's wings slowly detached, and his tail also broke off. The wings, claws, and tail merged instantly, forming a pair of even more terrifying claws.
The black claws were on either side, with a winged appearance wrapped around them. In the center of the claws was a large, claw-like tail, the claws embedded in the tail like those of a claw machine.
Shadow Kill Shatter slowly raised his hands, and black energy continuously gathered at the center of his claws. Tremendous power flowed, incredibly bizarre.
"Divine Spirit Heaven Annihilation!"
"Evil Overlord Claw Mark Fist!"
Both used their ultimate moves simultaneously. Ge Zi's Divine Spirit Sword emitted a massive divine light sphere, like a great sun, which then transformed into a beam of light and entered the Divine Spirit Sword. The sword radiated brilliance, forming a dazzling giant sword of light that slowly descended.
Shadow Kill Shatter clenched his fists, then swung them forward. The giant claws lunged towards Ge Zi's attack. The wings on either side of the claws spread open, moving at extreme speed, akin to the speed of light.
They collided instantly. Ge Zi used his full strength to bring his sword down, but it was not easy.
Shadow Kill Shatter gritted his teeth, a sharp pain in his head. He grumbled, "Damn it, now of all times!"
But it was too late to turn back. He retracted his arms, spread his fists open, and shot out his claws, directly striking Ge Zi's Divine Spirit Sword light.
Cracks appeared on the light sword. Ge Zi shook his head, realizing he had to use his final move.
His shield floated in front of him. Ge Zi then slowly inserted his Divine Spirit Sword into the center of the shield. The wings on his back moved to the sides of the shield and attached themselves.
He then picked up the shield, and a small groove appeared on its surface. Dots of light converged within it.
Hundreds of light beams suddenly shot out in random directions, covering the entire void.
Shadow Kill Shatter's attack was erased by the light beams. He couldn't believe it, exclaiming, "Impossible? You still have a weapon mode!"
The light beams enveloped his body, and Shadow Kill Shatter suddenly erupted with black energy.
Outside, the Shadow Kill Shatter clone fighting Hong Mo and Qing Ling exploded. Qing Ling decisively grabbed her magic staff, and several beams of light shot into the void.
On Ge Zi's side, in the void, a tunnel slowly appeared. Hong Mo and Shu Zi Qing Ling emerged behind Ge Zi.
Ge Zi turned around and asked in confusion, "Did you finish dealing with your clones? That was quick."
"No, you're fighting the main body, and you haven't finished him yet!"
Qing Ling said, looking at Ge Zi with extreme caution. Ge Zi was stunned. So he hadn't defeated the main body? Impossible, he had used his instant-kill skill; the opponent shouldn't have survived!
"Ge Zi, be careful!"
Shu Zi shouted. Ge Zi reacted instantly, placing his shield in front of him. A black beam of light struck it, sending Ge Zi flying backward.
His health bar dropped by 85%. The others looked towards the black smoke, from which a figure slowly emerged.
Everyone was shocked, for the figure was indeed Shadow Kill Shatter. How was this possible?
"Impossible? That was my instant-kill skill, how could you survive?"
Ge Zi couldn't believe his eyes, looking at Shadow Kill Shatter.
