Chapter 506 The Emperor of Europe Is Among Us

Chen Tian and Sheng Tian stood before Han Ying Lie Long and the others. The four looked at each other, nodding in agreement to let Sheng Tian join their team. With such a powerful ally, completing the mission would be a breeze.

Chen Tian and his party set off towards their destination. After three days, they finally reached the location marked on the mission scroll. Each of them had a drop of Ocean's Tear broken, except for Sheng Tian, who still had one. Chen Tian had not used the one given by Jiu Feng, as he possessed Ocean Tear Crystals and did not need Ocean's Tear.

They arrived at a vast, cerulean ocean, completely deserted. Han Ying Lie Long opened the scroll and examined it carefully. "It's here! The location is marked here, how can there be no entrance?"

"Are you sure it's here, Han Ying?" Jiu Feng and Bao Neng inquired together. Han Ying Lie Long unfurled the mission scroll, and everyone glanced at the location. It was indeed correct. But why was there no entrance in front of them?

Chen Tian activated his Divine Eyes, his pupils radiating a light as he observed intently. This was crucial for a breakthrough mission item; Chen Tian had to give it his all to find the entrance. Without finding the entrance, how could they complete the mission?

A different scene unfolded before Chen Tian's eyes. He closed his eyes briefly before calling the other four over.

"Don't bother looking anymore," he said calmly. "The entrance is hidden and will only appear when certain conditions are met."

Han Ying Lie Long anxiously asked, "Brother, what are the conditions?"

"Search the ground around this ocean. Look for any special structures. If you find anything, tell me."

"Alright!"

The four dispersed, landing on the ground to search. Chen Tian had already pinpointed the locations with his Divine Eyes, but he hadn't revealed them. After all, this was a mission for everyone, and the process of completing it was the most interesting part, just like the search itself.

"Chen Tian, over here! I found one," Sheng Tian's voice echoed. Chen Tian was stunned. "No way, this quickly? I remember these ones being quite well-hidden."

Chen Tian vanished from his spot and reappeared beside Sheng Tian. He looked into the sand and said with a hint of helplessness, "How did you find it?"

"Ah, I just accidentally kicked some sand, and it popped out by itself," Sheng Tian replied nonchalantly. Chen Tian was speechless.

This was the power of an 'Emperor of Luck,' triggering mechanisms just by kicking sand. He was too fortunate.

Before Sheng Tian and Chen Tian stood a circular structure, about ten meters in size. In the center was a triangular recess, as if something was needed to fill that spot.

"Brother Quan Lie, I found one here too." A message popped up from Han Ying Tian Mie. After a while, all seven mechanisms were found.

Chen Tian: "Describe the patterns on the mechanisms from each direction. What's missing?"

Han Ying Tian Mie: "Parallelogram."

Han Ying Lie Long: "Square, Circle."

Jiu Feng: "Waterdrop shape, Cloud shape."

Bao Neng: "Tooth shape."

Chen Tian: "Now, everyone search for the missing parts of the mechanisms. Don't rush to place them in. The items should be hidden somewhere around here."

"Okay!"

Information flashed across the interface, much like a chat. Time Epoch's design was quite good, with such communication methods, messages could be shared regardless of distance.

Chen Tian stood at the center while the other five spread out within a hundred-mile radius to search. An interface popped up.

Sheng Tian: "Chen Tian, I found it. Come here quickly."

Chen Tian's lips twitched. It had only been three seconds! He had already found it. What luck!

Chen Tian moved towards Sheng Tian's location. Sheng Tian was standing before a deep blue coral. Chen Tian looked down at the triangular fragment pressed beneath the coral, its size perfectly matching the one on the mechanism.

Chen Tian asked, "How did you find it? This thing was buried under the deep blue coral and resisting the underground."

Chen Tian wouldn't bet on finding these mechanism fragments with 100% certainty. This triangular fragment was buried underground, pressed by the deep blue coral. How did Sheng Tian find it?

"Was it difficult? I just thought the blue coral was pretty and wanted to pull it out to see. Who knew the mechanism was under it," Sheng Tian waved his hand.

"Heavens! Someone kill him! What kind of god-defying luck is this!" Chen Tian roared internally. Even the 'Emperor of Luck' in person couldn't compare to Sheng Tian.

Sheng Tian simply found the deep blue coral pretty and pulled it out, and he got lucky. Was this a joke?

Han Ying Tian Mie: "Chen Tian, help! Come quickly, everyone help!"

A message from Han Ying Tian Mie flashed across everyone's interface. Chen Tian's expression shifted slightly.

Chen Tian: "What are you up to now?"

After sending a message to Sheng Tian, Chen Tian headed towards Han Ying Tian Mie.

When they arrived, Han Ying Tian Mie was fighting a marine creature.

"What are you doing? You're supposed to be looking for mechanism fragments, why did you provoke a boss?" Han Ying Lie Long exclaimed angrily. Han Ying Tian Mie replied ruefully, "It's not my fault! I just found the fragment, and then this boss swallowed me whole as food. Did you think I wanted this, big brother?"

"Hurry up and help kill it and get the fragment."

Han Ying Tian Mie looked at the creature before him – a nine-clawed octopus, entirely blue. Its tentacles were incredibly tough, sharp as swords, and attacked ferociously. Han Ying Tian Mie's long sword deflected the blows, preventing him from being killed instantly.

The three attacked in unison. Heavy cannons, light wheels, and dual guns appeared. Cannonballs were fired, and huge explosions echoed. The cannonballs struck the nine-clawed octopus, its red eyes flaring.

Jiu Feng's dual guns appeared above the nine-clawed octopus's head. "Beast, die!" he roared. Lightning flashed from the dual guns as they plunged into the octopus's head. The octopus roared, its aura instantly weakening.

Han Ying Tian Mie's long sword moved four to five times a second, its continuous sword light severing all of the octopus's tentacles. Countless light wheels spun, wrapping around it, cutting its body inch by inch, leaving numerous wounds.

The nine-clawed octopus's health dwindled. Boom, boom, boom, continuous cannonballs were fired. The three retreated together as a massive explosion reverberated.

When the dust settled, the nine-clawed octopus's body dissolved into starlight. An electronic voice sounded in the minds of the four. The boss was killed by them, and everyone received a reward. This was the benefit of forming a team in Time Epoch; one boss meant rewards for all.

Time Epoch's team mode was indeed popular, though experience was divided, leading to slower leveling. Most players in Time Epoch found it more profitable to kill bosses solo. Team play with divided experience was good for bringing in new players, but as levels increased, more experience was needed, and with it being divided, it was uncertain when one could level up.

Han Ying Lie Long put away his weapon. Han Ying Tian Mie held a waterdrop-shaped item – a mechanism fragment.

Han Ying Lie Long's fist descended.

"Dong!"

"Big brother, why did you hit me?"

"Look at the boss's level. You couldn't handle it alone. When will you improve? If you were three levels higher than the opponent, would you need teammates?"

"Uh!!!"

Han Ying Tian Mie fell silent. His big brother was right. If he were three levels higher, even a boss could be soloed by other players. He couldn't even last long against it and had to call for teammates. Han Ying Tian Mie truly didn't know what to say.

"Let's go. We need to find other fragments." Han Ying Lie Long reprimanded his younger brother and led the other team members to disperse and search for the remaining mechanism fragments.

An interface popped up before Chen Tian. After sending a message, he closed it.

"It's getting more and more lively. I wonder if this boss is enough for the three of us to handle," Chen Tian muttered to himself. Chen Tian's Divine Eyes detected something strange. Han Ying Lie Long's mission might encounter a twist. If Chen Tian wasn't here, they might have been wiped out.

"Chen Tian, over here! Over here! I found two!" Sheng Tian's message arrived. Chen Tian didn't know how to react anymore. This guy found things too quickly.

Chen Tian: "Where did you find them?"

Sheng Tian: "I didn't search! One fragment floated towards me with the seawater. The other, I just stumbled over it while walking, lifted my foot, and there it was."

Chen Tian: "..."

Chen Tian had no further words. He truly didn't know how to continue the conversation. Comparing oneself to others was disheartening. While others were searching meticulously, Sheng Tian found them just by walking. This luck, save him! Chen Tian felt dejected for the first time. An 'Emperor of Luck' in person, he envied it!

After about a day, Chen Tian opened his interface. Soon, he sent a message: "Everyone, come back. All fragments have been found."

The others were stunned. They had only found two fragments so far. That fast? How did Chen Tian find them so quickly?

Soon, the four arrived at Chen Tian's location.

Han Ying Lie Long asked nervously, "Chen Tian, did you find the other fragments?"

Chen Tian waved his hand. "It wasn't me. He found them. The remaining fragments are all with him."

"Oh my god!" The crowd gasped. Seven fragments, and the location of each was so hidden. One person finding five fragments, how could this not be astonishing?

Sheng Tian took out the five fragments. The crowd believed him. They asked Sheng Tian how he found them, knowing that the two fragments in their hands were hidden in very secret locations, and it took them most of the time to find them.

Sheng Tian recounted the process and then added, "Is finding things difficult?"

The crowd coughed up blood. What kind of lucky 'Emperor of Luck' was this? Did they still want to live? We worked ourselves to death searching for fragments, and this brother, the fragments just found him. He could find them just by walking around.

"I don't want to live anymore. Kill me quickly."

"It's not going to work, why don't I have this kind of god-defying luck? I want to be an 'Emperor of Luck' too!"

"How about I give you a knife? Let me calm down."

The four were completely dumbfounded and stunned. Now they finally understood why he had reached the fourth level in less than a day of playing. Such 'Emperor of Luck' luck wasn't just about casual leveling.
