Chapter 13 The Herald of Primordial Destiny Appears

Mu Changqing swept his violet eyes over the ferocious beasts and demonic beasts, unconcerned.

They were mere animals; he would consider it a stain on his hands to kill them.

Crossing an endless expanse once more, a courtyard appeared before Mu Changqing.

This was where he usually lived.

The courtyard was not large, with four rooms, a kitchen, a bedroom, and so on.

A courtyard of moderate size, within which stood the World Tree he had planted, an Immortal Brew Pool plundered from an Emperor Clan, an Emperor Arm that had gained sentience, and more!

Suddenly, Mu Changqing's violet eyes flickered, and the corners of his mouth curved upwards, as if he had discovered something amusing.

"Such terrifying power of luck, a cuckoo in the nest, how interesting."

Above the courtyard, the invisible power of luck swirled.

The golden dragon of luck had grown four claws, and its immense prosperity was tinged with a purplish-gold hue.

This kind of luck far surpassed that of Ye Yu by several times.

Ye Yu was the Son of Destiny of the Cloud Feather Realm, meaning his future achievements would at least reach the peak of the Cloud Feather Realm.

He might even step out of this great realm, possessing the capital to traverse all realms, contending with the various Sons of Heaven, Reincarnation Great Powers, and slumbering old monsters.

However, the luck of this individual, with its purplish-gold color, represented Primordial Luck, the true Son of Destiny of all heavens.

Taking a deep breath, a mocking glint flashed in Mu Changqing's violet eyes.

Luck, this ethereal thing, was in fact a representation of fortune. Where did fortune come from? Naturally, from the heavens above.

"To place the Son of Luck in my dojo, you truly dare to think so!"

Mu Changqing exclaimed, and slowly stepped forward, pushing open the wooden door.

Creak!

As the wooden door opened.

Mu Changqing's gaze met a pair of slightly astonished eyes.

The man was handsome and refined, clad in a white long robe, exuding an elegant and detached aura.

His brow was filled with an unrestrained spirit.

Every movement of his contained the truth of the Great Dao.

Occasional visions of the Great Dao manifested around him; epiphanies that mortals yearned for were as simple as picking something up for this man.

The moment their eyes met, Mu Changqing almost mistook him for the true protagonist.

The man was slightly taken aback, but after a moment, he showed a look of excitement, his eyes filled with pure, naive joy.

"Heavens, ten thousand years, someone has finally come, sob sob sob."

Seeing this, Mu Changqing dodged the man's approach and inquired with interest.

"Ten thousand years? You have lived here for ten thousand years?"

"Naturally. Alas... you are the first person to visit my home. Welcome, please sit. Wait a moment, I will prepare something for you to eat."

The man spoke to himself, gesturing for Mu Changqing to sit by the stone table.

Taking two steps, the man turned his head to look at Mu Changqing, his brow slightly raised in confusion.

"Aren't you curious who I am? And why I have lived here for ten thousand years?"

Mu Changqing lightly brushed his black robe and adjusted his sleeves, smiling.

"It's not important. Guests are guests, aren't they?"

The man was stunned, feeling that Mu Changqing made sense, but he still smiled and said.

"Just call me Li Lingyun. Wait a moment."

He then entered the room and began to prepare food with a clatter.

Mu Changqing smiled, unconcerned.

Guests are guests. Unfortunately, this Li Lingyun had not understood who the guest and who the host was.

Afterward, Mu Changqing surveyed his surroundings with a hint of recollection.

The World Tree showed nothing special; its world power was contained, making it appear like an ordinary large tree.

The axe in the corner was an Emperor Arm, the pool beside it was the Immortal Brew Pool, with dozens of golden carp swimming within.

The tea tree beside it also appeared unremarkable, looking very ordinary, but it was the only Dao Comprehension Tea Tree in all the heavens.

Even the stone table and chairs before him were illusions of immortal artifacts.

The little black dog beside him was a transformed Primordial Evil Dragon, its cultivation and aura having reached the ordinary Immortal King realm.

The turkey on the ground was a transformed Ancient True Phoenix.

The moment Mu Changqing stepped in, except for the World Tree and Dao Comprehension Tea Tree already present in the courtyard, all other foreign beings felt a sense of curiosity towards Mu Changqing.

As for the World Tree and Dao Comprehension Tea Tree, they were trembling all over, their leaves falling one by one out of fear.

"How is this possible? Isn't Li Lingyun the Son of Destiny? Why has this person returned? He's not dead? It's over, it's over. I hope these fellows don't provoke him."

"I am a tea tree, I am a tea tree. He probably won't bother with me. Should I send a message to these fellows? After all, we've lived together for ten thousand years... Forget it, he'll just burn me for firewood. Better a dead comrade than a living one."

The Dao Comprehension Tree and the World Tree exchanged glances, falling silent in tacit agreement, acting as if nothing had happened.

Mu Changqing glanced at the World Tree and the Dao Comprehension Tree with a knowing look.

The two immediately wished they could break through this world and escape.

But they dared not; they dared not harbor even the slightest thought of defiance.

After all, anyone who knew the true identity of the person before them would be terrified and want to escape, but lack the courage.

Mu Changqing could not be bothered with them. His only interest was Li Lingyun, this Son of Destiny with heaven-defying luck.

Suddenly, the little black dog wagged its tail and contemptuously approached Mu Changqing's feet.

It raised its dog's head, revealing a human-like expression of disdain.

"What, you don't welcome me?"

Mu Changqing said.

The little black dog was slightly stunned, muttering to itself.

"This human isn't afraid of me? No, he doesn't know my true identity. Heh heh, if I revealed my true form, I'd scare him to death. But with master here, it's not good to reveal my identity."

"Reveal your identity? Primordial Evil Dragon?"

The little black dog: ...

Tap tap tap!

Instantly, the little black dog's four short legs moved like a motor, rapidly escaping from Mu Changqing's side.

Terror filled its dog eyes, filled with disbelief.

"How is this possible? How do you know what I'm thinking? Who exactly are you?"

The turkey on the other side also reacted, exuding a faint pressure, its terrifying Phoenix True Flames distorting the space, its gaze fixed on Mu Changqing.

"Who are you? Do you know how strong master is? No, you don't. He can easily suppress the entire Cloud Feather Realm, and even across all heavens and myriad realms, few are his match."

The turkey spoke coldly.

Its gaze held a haughty expression.

The World Tree and the Dao Comprehension Tree remained silent. Their only thought was... the dog and the chicken are finished.

Even if this turkey had practiced for two hundred thousand years, could sing, dance, and perform rap to please Li Lingyun.

It was still doomed.

"Interesting. Scram, don't ruin my mood."

Mu Changqing spoke indifferently. Instantly, the little black dog and the turkey felt the heavenly Dao collapsing, and the might of myriad realms being annihilated.

The two, filled with terror, hid in a corner, their eyes filled with disbelief.

What kind of existence could achieve the power of their words becoming reality, and their speech manifesting the heavens?

They did not know. At least, since the era of the Emperor's Fall, no such existence had appeared.

"Brother Tree... Who is he? You two have never spoken, do you know something?"

The little black dog asked via a fearful telepathic message.

The turkey also eagerly awaited a response from the two.

However, the World Tree and the Dao Comprehension Tree pretended to be dead.

What a joke. The esteemed individual before them was an existence who contended with the heavens. Did sending a telepathic message not hasten their death?

You little black dog and little turkey, don't drag us down.
