Chapter 144 Waist Kiss
Song Ni maintained a slightly forward-leaning posture. This position was already uncomfortable, and the dress was a bit tight on her, making her tired after standing for just a short while. Seeing Tan Zheng lingering, she turned to ask if he didn't know where the zipper was, only to meet his eyes, filled with deep desire. Her heart skipped a beat. Tan Zheng’s gaze was as if he wanted to devour her.
Song Ni's voice trembled. "If you don't know how, I'll do it myself." As she spoke, Song Ni was about to straighten up, but the man reacted swiftly, reaching out to grasp her waist. He didn't use much force, yet Song Ni felt as if she were already held captive by him. While waiting, Tan Zheng had already taken off his jacket and rolled up his sleeves. Now, the muscles on his bare forearms, tensed from the slight exertion, were beautifully defined and firm, with veins on the back of his hands just as pronounced. It was incredibly alluring. Song Ni only glanced and dared not look further. To her, Tan Zheng’s masculinity was too potent; she feared that if she continued to look, she might do something that would make her head flush.
"I'll do it." The man pulled Song Ni into his embrace. He was warm, and Song Ni felt as if her waist were about to catch fire. "You… you let go first. How can you zip it with one hand?"
Tan Zheng, however, continued to hold her waist. With his other hand, he first gathered the hair that had fallen behind Song Ni's back and brought it forward. His fingers were rough, and he didn't deliberately keep his distance, his touch occasionally brushing against Song Ni's skin. The room's heating hadn't kicked in fully yet, and Song Ni, with most of her back exposed, felt a bit cold. As Tan Zheng's warm fingers lightly traced her back, a tingling sensation quickly spread throughout her body from where his fingers had touched. Song Ni wanted to dodge, but she couldn't; Tan Zheng held her tightly. She could only gasp softly and then bite her lip to suppress it.
As if reluctant to let go, Tan Zheng gently stroked the skin at the nape of Song Ni's neck, feeling its delicate smoothness, and then slowly moved downward. His touch wasn't firm, his palm maintaining a slight distance from Song Ni's skin, but it was precisely this almost-touch that was torturous. Song Ni couldn't help but wriggle, wanting to escape, her body trembling subtly. Tan Zheng seemed to pay no attention to it. He admired Song Ni's beautiful back as if it were a piece of fine Hetian jade.
Just as Song Ni was nearing the brink of collapse from his torment, she heard Tan Zheng sigh as if in admiration. Then, the hand that had been controlling her physical sensations finally left her back. Just as she breathed a sigh of relief, thinking it was over, a warm, soft object pressed against the protruding vertebrae at the base of her neck. Song Ni gasped, her head snapping up almost instantly. Like a beautiful swan in the sun, lifting its proud neck in the water. It was Tan Zheng kissing her back. Not just once, he lingered for a few seconds, and then warm kisses began to fall elsewhere. The warmth and softness, coupled with his hot breath, made Song Ni feel as if she were in a fiery inferno, enduring the torment of her body's most primal desires. It was about to shatter her will. In a daze, she thought she heard Tan Zheng sigh. "So beautiful."
Song Ni blinked. Tears of emotion had already wet her eyelashes. She tried hard to regain her composure and wanted to protest, but before she could even open her mouth… Tan Zheng kissed her lower back. The stimulation caused Song Ni's body to tremble violently, and then she completely lost all strength, leaning into Tan Zheng's embrace. Song Ni said, her voice tinged with tears, "Stop fooling around."
Tan Zheng truly stopped. However, his forehead still rested against Song Ni's back. They both took a moment to recover. When Tan Zheng finally looked up, Song Ni couldn't help but complain, "I should have known not to ask for your help."
Tan Zheng chuckled lowly. "You are beautiful."
"I know. You're lucky to marry me, you've struck gold, okay?"
Tan Zheng responded with a hum. Indeed, he had struck gold. Strangely, the zipper that Song Ni couldn't pull up earlier was now effortlessly zipped by Tan Zheng. It was incredibly smooth. Song Ni turned her head, a frown of confusion on her face. "How come it was so easy when you did it?"
Tan Zheng merely raised an eyebrow and said nothing, his eyes holding a meaningful depth. Song Ni was stunned. "You don't think I did it on purpose, do you?"
Tan Zheng withdrew his hand and walked a few steps to pour himself a glass of wine, draining it in one gulp. Song Ni watched his fluid movements, and when he lifted his head, the sculpted lines of his face and his sexy Adam's apple, she unconsciously swallowed. She felt thirsty too. "Even if you did it on purpose, it wouldn't matter." Perhaps mesmerized by his good looks, Song Ni was dazed at first, not fully understanding Tan Zheng's meaning. Her mind was solely occupied by how handsome, sexy, and captivating Tan Zheng was. He was an embodiment of pure hormones.
Song Ni's gaze was too intense. Tan Zheng curved his lips into an amused smile and looked at her, hands clasped across his chest, and asked, "So, it was on purpose, huh?" His voice, deepened and roughened by desire, made Song Ni sigh again. How could he be so perfect, even his voice so seductive. It wasn't until she met Tan Zheng's teasing gaze that Song Ni suddenly snapped back to reality. "I absolutely did not do it on purpose." Song Ni's brows furrowed, and she glared fiercely at Tan Zheng. But in the man's eyes, Song Ni's defiance held no threat; instead, she looked lively and cute. Dressed in this iris gown, she was as radiant as a starry sky.
Tan Zheng suppressed the fire and restlessness in his chest, took out his phone, and began taking rapid-fire photos of Song Ni. Song Ni hadn't even reacted, her expression still one of feigned anger towards Tan Zheng. Her face, unadorned, bore a natural flush, and her hair was disheveled. She looked like a beauty who had fallen from the heavens to earth. Song Ni was exasperated. "You should have warned me beforehand!" She wanted to strike a pose and compose her expression. She then stepped forward, wanting to snatch Tan Zheng's phone to delete the photos he had taken. The man, however, retreated step by step, his fingers continuing to operate the phone without pause. In the end, Tan Zheng's phone gallery was filled with dozens, even hundreds, of Song Ni's photos. Finally, Tan Zheng stopped, fearing Song Ni might fall, and grabbed her arms. "You look good in everything. Everything you do looks good."
Song Ni glared at him again. "Give me the phone."
"No." Angered, Song Ni lifted her leg, intending to kick Tan Zheng, but limited by her dress, she could only resort to stepping on his foot. However, Tan Zheng hadn't put on his shoes yet, and she was barefoot for convenience in changing her dress. The step caused Song Ni to wince in pain, her eyebrows knitting together.
