The doctor gestured for Yan Xi to sit down and studied her. After a moment of silence, he spoke, "Miss Yan, I need to inform you about Mr. Mu's condition."
Hearing the doctor's words, Yan Xi felt a vague sense of foreboding.
She tried to appear calm and asked softly, "Doctor, is he very seriously injured?"
"Not exactly. He's out of danger. He just needs a few more days of observation in the hospital. If his wounds heal well, he can be discharged."
