Chapter 56: The place where the treasure is
Cecily stood behind, staring at him as he walked away.
She was pensive about his response, but soon smiled and ran after him to catch up. This was a mission they had to do together.
Upon arriving in the western region, many people were causing a commotion, but they were being evicted. In the distance, Captain Garner was the one who came out to take the blows from the strongest, figuratively speaking.
"Do you know who has the treasure?" she asked after watching Mr. Roger and his men take care of evicting most of the people from the area.
They had agreed that the mission would begin in two hours, giving him time to eliminate the stubborn ones.
"Well, something like that," he said, smiling a little. "He’s close by."
"Really? Who is it?" She looked at him.
"A normal person. He’s on the run right now."
She looked shocked. "Running away? Wasn’t he in this area?"
"Haha, why do you think the plan is happening two hours later?"
"To give him time to clear out?"
"No." He shook his head. "Those two hours are so we can catch the thief. So we have two hours to do it," he said, taking out a dark suit that covered him completely.
He had prepared it to move when the time came. It was a dark suit commonly worn by assassins for better mobility. He put it on over his clothes so he could change when the time came.
"You mean we still have to go after him? I thought you already had him!" She exclaimed in shock as she watched him change.
"Hahaha, if I had him, the mission would have started without having to evict these idiots. Everything is solved once you have him, right?"
"Then..."
"Then you just need to help me, Cecily. You won’t go, I’ll go, but you’ll go with me," he replied after zipping up the magical suit.
She didn’t understand what he meant. "I won’t go, but I’ll go? What does that mean?" she asked, but then she frowned and remembered her puppets. "Do you mean...?"
"Yes. You’ll help me with your puppets. Do you have any puppets near the hospital?" he asked.
She nodded. "I do... I know where the leader and Samuel are, and I also see your brother... he seems to be approaching from the east," she said.
’Brandon? Moving east...’ Ryan frowned.
"How has Brandon been moving in the last hour?"

"Didn’t you say we had two hours?" She frowned. She still didn’t understand where the treasure was, but she sighed. It wasn’t important for now, so she had to do what he told her.
’I already had something in you anyway, ’ she complained, returning to her position where she had no idea what to do.

Voices reached him from inside.
"We’ll be here for another 15 minutes. Help will be coming to take us out of the city."
