Chapter 364 The Will

Cheng You got Xu Boyan's address from Qi Yang. The two of them rushed to inform him of the news.

Xu Boyan rented a large courtyard house in Yan City where the transport team members lived.

Knocking on the door late at night, Mo Zi, who had a grudge against Cheng You, came to open it.

The moment he saw Cheng You, his face contorted uncontrollably.

"How dare you show your face to me again!"

Before he finished speaking, his fingers formed a claw and lunged at Cheng You.

With a *snap*, Qi Yang batted it away.

"Mo Zi, what are you doing!"

As if just noticing Qi Yang's presence, Mo Zi's expression changed.

"Sister-in-law, why are you here?"

"I'm here to find Xu Boyan and ask him to come out."

Seeing Mo Zi's behavior, Qi Yang decided not to bring Cheng You inside.

Xu Boyan came out on his own without needing Mo Zi to call him.

"Yangyang, what's the matter?"

Qi Yang quickly told him about Han Shaohua.

She wouldn't dare to be negligent when it concerned Xu Boyan's future mother-in-law.

Xu Boyan had already been looking for his mother and Han Shaohua. Now that it was so effortless, he didn't delay and headed straight for the hospital.

By the time they arrived, the old lady had already been transferred to a ward.

She had been successfully resuscitated but was not yet awake.

Han Shaohua stared blankly at Xu Boyan, finding it hard to believe.

He hadn't seen much of this uncle, mostly only in photographs.

The Xu Boyan in the photos was younger and quite different from how he was now.

"You are Shaohua."

Although he had grown up, he still bore some resemblance to his childhood appearance.

The moment Han Shaohua spoke, tears welled up uncontrollably.

"Uncle."

He hadn't expected to see his own family again in this lifetime.

Xu Boyan temporarily set aside his own thoughts and turned to look at the old lady.

After many years apart, his mother had aged considerably.

Xu Boyan knelt by the bed with a thud and asked in a deep voice, "Shaohua, how is Grandma's condition?"

Han Shaohua replied, "Grandma's heart hasn't been good. Excessive worry has led to illness. Fortunately, Sister Cheng You brought the Tai Ji Pills. The doctor said they were sent at a critical time, and she's fine now, as long as she takes good care of herself."

Xu Boyan looked at Cheng You, filled with inexpressible gratitude.

Without her, he didn't know how many more detours he would have to take to reunite with his family.

"Cheng You, if there's ever anything you need from me, Xu Boyan, just ask!"

Cheng You quickly waved her hand, "Brother-in-law, you're being too formal. We're family."

Qi Yang smiled and patted his shoulder.

"That's right, family doesn't stand on ceremony."

Han Shaohua spoke from the side, "Sister Cheng You has indeed helped us a lot. She let me work as an accountant at the pharmacy and even gave me a bonus. She's a good person."

Cheng You didn't dare to take the credit. "Our pharmacy is a place for healing people. I kept you because you are capable. It has nothing to do with my kindness. I won't disturb your family reunion. I'll go back and inform Grandpa Feng's family first."

She believed they had a lot to say after being apart for so long.

As Xu Boyan's future wife, Qi Yang naturally stayed to help.

Cheng You then left with Chen Qin.

"Brother Chen, I still have some Tai Ji Pills. You can take them to the pharmacy as well."

Tai Ji Pills were costly to produce and were currently a scarce medicine for Zhen Shan Tang.

Chen Qin nodded, "Alright, I'll go back with you to get them."

Cheng You had slept during the day and wasn't sleepy at all.

Taking advantage of the early hour, she went to the Feng family's residence.

Coincidentally, the entire Feng family was present, including Xu Nanxi.

"Grandma Lin, I seem to have arrived at an awkward time. You all should talk first. I'll leave now." Cheng You instinctively wanted to avoid such gatherings.

However, the old lady spoke, "Cheng You, what is it?"

"It's related to the Xu family."

Old Master Feng immediately said, "Since it's all related to the Xu family, you should sit down and tell us."

The old lady beckoned Cheng You to sit beside her.

Feng Yaojun glanced at Cheng You a few more times, inexplicably feeling that she looked somewhat familiar.

"You speak first, what's the matter?"

Seeing everyone looking at her, Cheng You decided to get straight to the point and recounted the story of the old lady and Han Shaohua as if spilling beans.

Xu Nanxi's expression changed drastically, and he stood up in surprise.

He had just found Xu Boyan a while ago, and now his grandmother had been found too!

Especially with his brother also appearing!

His face turned ashen, and he clenched his fists tightly, feeling extremely resentful.

His grandfather and parents were dead, so why were these inexplicable people showing up now?

Cheng You looked at his expression. "Xu Nanxi, you don't seem very happy?"

Xu Nanxi quickly adjusted his expression to conceal himself. "I'm just too excited, momentarily losing my composure."

Old Master Feng was even more excited than him. "Let's go, let's go! We should go to the hospital to see sister-in-law!"

Feng Yaojun quickly said, "Dad, didn't Cheng You say she's still in the hospital and hasn't woken up? Besides, it's getting late. We can buy some fruit tomorrow to visit her; it's not too late."

Cheng You rarely agreed with him.

"Brother Boyan and his mother have just reunited, and they must have a lot to talk about. Let's not disturb them. It's not too late to go tomorrow."

Zhu Yan nodded repeatedly, "Yes, Dad, let's deal with this will first."

Cheng You was about to take her leave but her posterior settled firmly back into her seat upon hearing "will."

After listening to their brief exchanges, she learned that Xu Nanxi had brought it, claiming it was the will of the late Old Master Xu.

It generally stated that before being sent down, the old master had stored some items at the Feng family's place.

Now that his family was scattered, he probably wouldn't be able to return to Yan City, so those items were to be handled by his grandson Nanxi.

Cheng You finally understood why Xu Nanxi was so insistent on staying at the Feng family's residence.

So that was the reason behind it.

"Excuse my bluntness, Xu Nanxi, since you have the will, why are you only bringing it out now?"

Xu Nanxi said with a grim face, "When I got into university, I left in a hurry and left the will in the countryside. I went back a few days ago just to retrieve this will."

The old master remained silent.

He didn't believe Xu Nanxi, but the handwriting was indeed Old Xu's.

For a moment, his internal scales began to tip, and he was undecided.

Cheng You proposed a compromise, "Since you can't decide, why not wait until you meet Xu Nanxi's grandmother tomorrow before making a decision?"

The old master nodded, finding it feasible.

"Then we'll discuss it tomorrow."

Zhu Yan was a bit anxious and shot Cheng You a look, not wanting to give up just yet.

Unfortunately, Feng Yaojun stopped her.

"Alright, then we'll talk about it tomorrow."

If they were too eager to get their hands on the items, it would only make Old Master Feng suspicious. It was better to take it slow.

Seeing Xu Nanxi about to put the will away, the old lady stopped him. "Leave the will here. We've kept your grandfather's belongings for so many years without touching them. If this will was truly left by your grandfather, we wouldn't covet the items."

Those items were originally meant to be returned to the Xu family, it was only a matter of time.
