Chapter 315: The Stone of Wisdom

But Abium saw curiousness in the tree's emerald eyes!

As if Azolla had already aware of thoughts in Abium's mind, she said with a chuckle,

'Kid, this tree will go through many transformations in the future. Although I don't know much about these dungeons' functions, I'm sure this tree will grow into something unique one day using all the knowledge you gave it earlier.

Abium wasn't much surprised and nodded in understanding. After that, he turned his head towards that tree and asked,

"Do you understand my words?"

That tree gave a curious look at Abium and blinked its eyes.

Meanwhile, Abium let out a relieved sigh and began to speak,

"I gave you all this information in exchange for this Azure bluish stone, so now I don't owe you anything."

'I feel this tree is going to bring a great change.' Abium muttered inwardly and disappeared from there. A second later, his figure reappeared one kilometer from the abandoned mansion.

After checking there was no one nearby, he took out that azure-bluish stone and asked,

'Azolla, did you find anything about this stone?'

Azolla deliberated for a second and answered,

'Kid, if I hadn't checked your blood in the Star Tower, I would have thought of you as Myxenta's son. As for this strange stone, I think this stone must be the 'Stone of Wisdom.' I once heard that the holder of this stone could understand hidden knowledge. For example, you would easily understand the secrets of Law or Chaos powers using this stone. Imprint the stone with your spiritual power; I will care for the rest.' Abium's eyes widened as he heard her words.

'As I had thought, Count Henricus did find this stone in the past and rose to power. Moreover, the reason he found that abandoned mansion must be due to the Golden ring's help. Hmm, he did tell the public the truth about owning a knowledge artifact.' Abium sighed deeply and imprinted his spiritual power in the 'Stone of Wisdom.'

A second later, Abium saw that the blue gem began to turn illusionary and disappeared inside his body.

'Kid, do you want to bind this stone to your soul like my core?' Suddenly, Azolla asked him another question.

Abium got stunned by her words and nodded after a short pause. The next second, a blue screen appeared in front of his eyes.

[Sending the 'Stone of Wisdom' to your Sea of Consciousness...Binding it with your soul…1%...5%...12%...25%...50%...70%...89%...97%...100%. Binding completed!

Some changes occurred in the Sea of Consciousness!

With the help of Wisdom Power, the memory clouds in your 'Sea of Consciousness' have been arranged in order.

You have gained Perfect recall Ability: You can instantly remember everything you have ever experienced, encountered, or learned without being overwhelmed or pausing for thought. You need only to read, hear, or see something once, and you will never forget it. Your mind world will work like an artificial spirit with unlimited storage and analytical capacity.

You can now view all of your memories, including the blocked ones!

The Stone of Wisdom function is available from now on!

Using this function, you can comprehend the Law or Chaos powers more easily.]

An explosion appeared in his 'Sea of Consciousness.' Abium stopped his footsteps with a surprised look and quietly entered his Sea of Consciousness.

Abium, in his conscious form, saw a raging storm inside his 'Sea of Consciousness' and was amazed.

Countless white clouds in the form of memories began to arrange in an orderly manner. The storm lasted for a whole minute and then calmed down.

At that moment, Abium felt a drastic change in his mind.

All of his memories appeared clearer in his mind, one by one. He hovered above those white clouds and studied the newly appeared memories slowly. He skimmed through the memories and soon arrived at a group of particular memory clouds in his 'Sea of Consciousness.'

It was his childhood memory clouds!

No, more like his infancy memory.

As he checked those memory clouds, he soon found a particular memory of a beautiful oval-faced woman and widened his eyes. She had long blonde hair, thin eyebrows, tiny pointy ears, and azure eyes. At that moment, she wore a white lace, black pencil skirt, and high-heel shoes and held him in both arms.

'She is my mother!' He felt an uncontrollable joy when seeing her appearance!

He also scanned the other memory clouds and got information about his family.

'I'm from the Aube mage family. My father's name is Luke, and my mom's name is Thea. I have an elder brother and an elder sister. Are they…? Hmm, their names are not mentioned anywhere in these memory clouds.' Abium paused for a second and soon frowned.

'All these memory clouds are still hazy. It must be due to a long time.' He nodded and shifted his gaze towards his 'Sea of Consciousness.'

'I didn't expect such a gift from this stone. I can feel that my mind has become a lot clearer now.' He muttered inwardly and withdrew his consciousness from his 'Sea of Consciousness.'

He then glanced at the blue screen and furrowed his brows.

'Blocked memories, huh? Those hazy memories must be those blocked memories.' He mumbled to himself.

Abium checked the new function once again and nodded his head pleasantly.

Afterward, he turned his gaze towards where the Royal Family's and Light Church's group went and smiled coldly.

'It's time for me to play as a Holy Knight.' Abium muttered slowly and took out an emerald pendant from his ring. He gave the cursed pendant to Rilos during the Fex Dimension mission. A few days ago, when Abium met Rilos, he asked him if he had any soul-slaving artifact to read memories of the enemy. But to his surprise, Rilos took out this pendant and gave it to him without hesitation.

'Well, he seems to be getting on good sides with me because of my Red Angel title.' Abium chortled inside.

Shaking his head, Abium began to walk ahead and soon disappeared into the woods.

...

A few hours later,

On the other side of the Fourth layer,

A total of twenty tents were placed near a lake and appeared less guarded. Although a few holy knights and apprentice mages stood outside as guards, none worked properly and even talked leisurely.

In one of those twenty tents, a young knight was sleeping soundlessly and appeared to be dreaming about something terrible. His mouth was twisted and showed a panicking look. Suddenly, the young Holy Knight named Jordan woke up due to the sudden nightmare and stood up.

'Damn it! This dungeon mission is making me more anxious. Oh, Holy Lord of Light, protect me from those evil nightmares and monsters outside.' He muttered to himself and turned his attention to another companion who was snorting loudly.

"Also, save me from his loud snorting!" He said out loud and sighed heavily.

After that, he silently walked out of his tent and tapped his spatial ring. He soon grinned as he saw ten bottles of strange red gels, six purple fruits, and fifty long pointy brown leaves hovering in the empty void.

'Haa! I already gathered three types of potion materials, but I need to gather more if I want to save more money.' He muttered to himself and quietly sneaked outside of the camping area.

Soon, he walked out of the camping area and began to search for potion materials while holding a first-tier spell scroll in his hand. He knew the dangers hidden in this dungeon and began to search cautiously in the nearby woods.

A few minutes later, he saw a humanoid figure walking in his direction and soon recognized that face.

The next moment, confusion appeared on his face.

"What are you doing here, merchant mage?" He asked warily.

A chuckle came out from Abium's words. Then, he made a loud laugh and replied with a wicked grin.

"Haha, I came here to borrow your body, Mr. Holy Knight."

Upon hearing Abium's wicked words, Jordon felt chills all over his body and unsheathed his long sword.

"You- You lied to me!" He roared and sprinted towards Abium with cold eyes.

Meanwhile, Abium yawned lazily and spoke,

"Mind Freeze."

The next moment, Jordon felt confused. He couldn't think properly and stopped running before standing inside the woods like a fool.

Meanwhile, Abium casually took out the emerald-cursed pendant and enslaved his soul without trouble.

Two hours later, a black-haired knight in silver armor sneaked into the Light church camp and soon arrived in front of the 17th tent. He had light blue eyes and a square face and appeared to be around twenty years old.

Without alerting anyone, he quietly walked inside the tent and saw a blonde-haired Holy Knight. Meanwhile, the blonde-haired Holy Knight lay on the straw mat and stared back at him curiously.

"What are you doing at this time, Jordan?" That knight, who was around the same age as him, asked with a frown.

"It's a secret mission, Tyrion." Abium, in Jordan's appearance, said jokingly and lay on his straw mat.

"Blah...blah... I'm already tired of your weird excuses." Tyrion said while shaking his head and going back to his sleep.

...

A few days later,

Dark God temple's entrance, Fifth Layer.

At that moment, a group of silver-armored Holy Knights and multiple gray and black-robed mages arrived at the magnificent temple entrance and stood with solemn looks on their faces. Bishop Piers, Mage Sean, and other Bishop Piers' disciples stood among the group and looked around cautiously.

"It appears that those guys haven't arrived yet." Mage Sean said with a frown. He could see the large Temple entrance gate was still tightly shut from the outside and felt no hand imprint of a human.

"Those evil demons must be plotting something," Piers said coldly, quickly shifting his attention toward the black entrance gate.

"Evil Sense," He muttered in a cold tone. A flash of bright light appeared from his palm a second later and spread everywhere.

The next moment, he curled his lips up and smiled. He then looked at one of the holy knights who stood behind him and said coldly.

"Found you!"

Without delay, he pointed his finger at the holy knight and muttered in a weird language.

"Sword of Judgement!"

The next instant, a blinding ray of pure white light appeared from his finger and directly flew towards the Holy Knight. Before others could understand the situation, the ray of light sword directly stabbed the knight's chest and burned him alive in white flame.

Abium, who now stood in disguise, almost got panicked at that moment.

'Damn it! He must have the abyssal aura in his body.' He muttered gravely and soon calmed down.

'Thank goodness. If Bishop had used Enemy search instead of evil sense, I would be the one who got pierced by that ray of light.' He began to feel sweaty all over as he stared at those poisonous eyes. Meanwhile, Bishop Piers turned his head towards Sean and ordered coldly,

"Mage Sean, three more evil demons are hiding in your group. Take care of them."

"Haha, Honorable Bishop of Light, please don't order me around like others. I'm not your Lord's servant. As for those killing those three, I don't think that is possible. All three are academic mages; killing them is like breaking the academy's rules." Sean said calmly, without even minding those glares from holy knights and priests.

Meanwhile, Piers got disappointed and said with a sigh while pointing his finger toward those three mages' direction.

"Then I have to purify their soul on my own."

His words caused every mage to tense up. Even Sean frowned upon hearing Bishop Piers's arrogant words and took a one-meter-tall wooden staff from his spatial ring. Although it was just a simple wooden staff, its presence gave the surroundings an oppressive feeling.

A fist-sized red crystal was also embedded in the top, giving off heat waves everywhere.

Bishop was momentarily stunned as he looked at the strange staff and retracted his finger.

'He has an Expert level staff! It must have one or two third-tier spell models engraved in it.' Piers thought inwardly and slowly pointed his finger toward the metal gate.

"Holy Light's Wrath!"

The next moment, the golden light of a spear appeared in front of him and soon turned into millions of light particles. After that, all those golden light particles moved forward like a ghostly whirlwind and completely covered the metal gate. The golden light replaced the black metal gate and began to destroy it. Within a few seconds, everyone heard a strange creaking noise.

Bang!

The gate exploded into dust the next moment and revealed a beautiful dome-shaped tower-like temple at the center.
