Chapter 222: Conflict between Elves

Meanwhile, Helena looked at him for a moment and answered with a nod.

"It is a new druid spell called [Nature's Command]. But if I want to cast this spell, I need different types of plant's seeds with a unique ability like poison, hallucination, paralysis, seductive odor, etc. This spell will allow me to strengthen the plant's abilities and even wield them during fights. But there is one thing that worries me ever since you put that green leaf in my forehead, though. I sometimes feel a connection towards somewhere and want to get there at all costs."

Abium was startled a little and soon spoke with a thoughtful look.

"It must be due to the world tree leaf's work. Once we settle everything here, we can go to the elven kingdom and ask for help from the elves. After all, only they know much about the Druid Pathway anyway."

'Moreover, I also want to find out some information about the last elven princess over there. But a royal elf appearing out of nowhere will definitely cause suspicion. Although there are still many Royal Elves living in the Elven Kingdom, I heard that their bloodline purity became meager and even lost their power to dominate the other elves. Azolla, do you know why the Royal Elves are special?'

'It's more like a hierarchy system, lad. I don't know how the other elves managed to rise in power during this era, but Royal Elves were the ones with dense High Elves bloodline and were considered as noble ones. Some Royal Elves even awakened the High-Elves Bloodline Abilities and became chosen ones of the World Tree. After some time, the Royal Elves proclaimed themselves as pure blooded descendants of High Elves and started the hierarchy system. Not only that, but they even started oppressing the other Elves like Wood Elves, Wind Elves, Spirit Elves, and Dark Elves and became an indirect instigator of the last Planar War.' Azolla said in his mind.

'Elves' hierarchy system caused the last Planar War?' Abium asked in surprise.

'It's the Dark Elves. Unlike the other elves, the Dark Elves were not only discriminated against but also compared with demons and devils regularly. Because of the endless oppression and indirect hatred, they got fed up with the Royal Elves and started a coup d'état. But due to a noble young lady's sacrifice, the Royal Elves and others managed to survive that coup d'état and even punished the Dark Elf clan by enslaving the children and women.'

'Well, aren't the Royal Elves main villains here?' Abium couldn't help but interject.

'Indeed. Because of the Royal Elves' cruel action, the Dark Elf elders finally made a decision and sold the Easica plane coordinate to a Demon Lord to seek revenge. That's how the last Planar War started-'

"What happened, Abium? Your face looks more serious now." Helena's voice snapped back to his senses.

"It's nothing." Abium quickly turned his gaze towards Helena and asked about the situation in Alastall Territory.

After that, he bid farewell to Helena and silently left the mansion without alerting anyone.

A few minutes later, Abium moved stealthily to Merchant Borough's main street and soon reached Orchid Auction House.

As he walked closer to the compound gate, he saw two figures standing at the main building's entrance and looking in his direction.

Although Abium couldn't see their faces due to the darkness, he had long guessed who they were.

Without delay, he removed the Faceless Glass artifact from his face and walked in.

"Did you bring any good news, Mage Abium?" Tabitha's silvery voice came from the entrance.

"Yes, My Lady."

Abium said in response and quietly walked towards the duo.

"Good." Another gruff voice came from the nearby muscular man, making Abium raise his eyebrows slightly.

He was a black-haired man with bright eyes, around 45 years old, and a pale face.

"This is Mage Ubius," Tabitha said as she pointed her finger at Mage Ubius and introduced him.

"This is Zivior's new disciple I told you about, Ubius."

"It's an honor to meet you, Sir." Abium quickly gave a respectful bow and spoke with a polite tone. At the same time, he activated the [Spiritual Scan] ability and scanned both of their statuses.

'Although they won't find me if I scan them, I still feel a little anxious.' Silently, a minute amount of spirit power came out of his body and spread in all directions.

"It's a pleasure meeting you as well." Meanwhile, Ubius glanced at him up and down and replied with a soft smile.

In the meantime, Abium kept his face solemn and looked at Mage Ubius's and Lady Tabitha's status. The source of this content ɪs novel•fi

'Wow, these are the body statuses of second-tier mages, huh. It seems Lady Tabitha had already reached the threshold to the next level.' Abium nodded in enlightenment as he read the information.

"I heard you are a bit special from Zivior and Tabitha. So, how many first-tier spell models did you manage to create?" Suddenly, Ubius thought of something and asked.

Meanwhile, Abium nodded his head and answered.

"I constructed two spell models, Sir. Ubius." Upon hearing his words, both abruptly froze for a second and glanced at each other.

After all, even a genius needed at least two years to increase his spirit power from 20 to 40 points! So, they couldn't help but be startled inside.

"Haha, I know you have more secrets than just luck, kid." Tabitha broke into a wide grin and said with a chuckle. Meanwhile, Ubius nodded without hiding his shocked expression and gave him thumbs up.

"It seems another genius is born in our domain."

While they were talking, a middle-aged man in his red robe entered the compound gate and hastened his footsteps in their direction.

"Old hag! Ubius! Sorry, I'm late again." Apologizing loudly, he arrived closer to them and soon stopped his footsteps. He had straight black hair, deep blue eyes, an olive-skinned round face, and long, thick eyebrows. He was none other than Abium's Teacher Zivior.

He gave Abium a deep look and furrowed his brows.

"It's been a while, Teacher," Abium said with a wide grin and greeted him with a bow.

Meanwhile, Zivior stood there with a stunned expression and went silent.

After a long silence, he locked his gaze on Tabitha and Ubius and asked coldly.

"What is he doing here?" As he met with no response, Zivior quickly shifted his gaze toward Abium and said, while narrowing his eyebrows.

"Didn't you go to Alastall Woodland to manage that territory? But why are you here with these two?" As Abium was about to explain, Tabitha raised her hand and patted his shoulder.

"Let's go, Zivior. I will explain to you in detail while we are on our way to the meeting." Tabitha said calmly and moved towards the carriage.

With a nod, others quickly followed after her, and one by one, they all entered the luxurious four-wheeled carriage parked on the left side.
