On 27th June, Nobles' Borough, Baron Auguinare's Mansion.
It was around 2 A.M.
At that moment, Helena sat on the ladder-back chair and appeared to be in deep thought in her room.
Two days ago, she returned to the Royal Capital with Claude and searched for Abium's whereabouts.
Unfortunately, she couldn't find a clue about him.
Thankfully, she met with Baron Auguinare yesterday and decided to tag along with him.
'But where the hell is he? I can't attend the Grand Nobles' Gathering using this ring, though.' She frowned a bit and soon sighed helplessly.
'I wonder if Camilla is alright. Lily and others are staying with her, so I don't think anyone would dare to capture her.' She muttered inwardly and suddenly shifted her oceanic blue eyes towards the opened window.
The next instant, her eyes flickered as she stood up from the chair and waved her right hand.
Meanwhile, the vines in the outside garden suddenly moved on their own and crept towards her room window.
At the same time, she took out a few palm-sized seeds from her pocket and threw them on the concrete floor.
Simultaneously, she took a step back and started to chant.
"Wait!"
At that moment, she heard a familiar voice from outside and smiled.
"Where have you been all this time? I searched for you everywhere!"
With a pale face, Abium slowly jumped inside through the opened window and quietly landed on the concrete floor.
He wore a black robe, had black hair instead of blonde, and looked more like a human than a Royal elf.
"Disguise spell? But why are you coming here like a thief? You are a Noble now; act like one." She said with a groan and gave him a suspicious look.
'Are you my mother?' Abium couldn't help but grumble.
"I came here to tell you a few things," He quickly changed the topic as he sat on the nearby bed. Meanwhile, Helena also nodded her head and sat on the ladder-back chair.
"What happened?"
Instead of responding, he quickly took a few things like zero-tier spell scrolls and potion bottles from his spatial ring and placed them on her bed.
Following that, he started to speak as he stared back at her,
"Helena, you will be the one who is going to attend the Grand Nobles gathering in my stead. Use your original identity and tell them that you are my representative." As Abium finished his words, he took out his winged-sun noble seal and gave it to her.
Although she didn't understand his action, she quietly took the noble seal from him and nodded.
"But what are you going to do?"
"I have other work to do." Abium paused for a moment and said in a low tone.
"Tomorrow's Grand Nobles Gathering will be chaotic, so be prepared for any unexpected situation. Also, you are allowed to kill anyone who shows any sign of hostility towards you or any other Royal Family members." Abium said and took out another spell scroll from his spatial ring.
"What is it?" Helena was puzzled as she caught the scroll and quickly inspected it.
But a moment later, her expression went serious as she noticed it was a second-tier spell scroll!
"It is a [Wind Blade] second-tier spell scroll. Use it if the situation turns more serious." Saying so, he took out another four scrolls along with a few high-tier magic stones from his spatial ring and gave them to her.
"These four scrolls are first-tier attack spell scrolls. You could even kill a second-tier mage through a sneak attack."
'Of course, you need 1000% additional luck to achieve that, though.'
"Why do I need this many spell scrolls?" Helena couldn't help but feel more anxious about the upcoming gathering.
Instead of responding, Abium smiled lightly and made a quick scan at Helena.
'Helena seems to be growing stronger day by day. Her spirit power has already reached 15 in a short time, and she even constructed four nature spell models, huh? Why do I feel like I was the one lagging?'
But he knew her current abnormal improvement was not due to her effort but due to the world tree's leaf.
Shaking his head, he replied to Helena's question without hiding anything.
"I heard some confidential news that some necromancers plan to attack the royal palace during the Grand Nobles Gathering. Although the whole attack might be just a distraction, the necromancers will make the whole banquet hall into a mess." Abium stopped for a second and continued in a solemn tone.
"I want you to step in if the necromancers try to kill Prince Raollet or Prince Huggin."
"What about Prince Tybost, Princess Evenule, and Princess Ankerita?"
"They won't be attending this banquet." Abium shook his head and decided to give extra information about the necromancers.
"Regarding the number of enemies, it should be around 25 to 30 people. Twenty apprentice necromancers, 5 to 8 first-tier necromancers, and one or two second-tier necromancers." His words didn't cause Helena to become anxious inside.
Although she didn't even know how powerful a first-tier necromancer was, she more or less realized that this upcoming banquet might be a life-and-death ordeal.
'But this is the first time Abium has asked me to do something. I won't disappoint him.'
She silently sat there while listening to him for a moment and nodded.
"I'll protect those two with life on the line. But-" She gave a hesitant look and then asked with a frown.
"What is their real motive?"
"I don't know what they are after, but I'm sure it won't be good," Abium said.
Suddenly, he thought of her progress in Nature Magic and asked curiously. "You've grown stronger, right? Can you show me a little bit of your power?"
As if she was expecting this question, Helena straightened her back, stood up from her seat, and chanted a few mystical words. At the same time, she waved her hand and threw a few seeds on the concrete floor.
The next instant, all the seeds started to grow into green vines at an incredible speed and slithered everywhere.
Within a few seconds, her bedroom turned into a garden filled with numerous dark green vines. Those vines even produced strange pink-colored flowers and emitted an unusual odor to the surrounding air. But Abium's eyes widened because he felt strongly dizzy as he inhaled the air.
Within a second, he noticed that Helena started to multiply like a clone and appeared everywhere!
'Illusion? No! These plants are making me hallucinate.' Abium nodded with a pale face and soon felt his surroundings starting to spin quickly. A second later, Abium fell on the bed and soon began to snore.
Meanwhile, Helena looked at Abium with a wide-gaped mouth for a few seconds and didn't know what to say.
After a short delay, she hurriedly moved towards Abium and soon noticed that he was blushing with a goofy smile.
"!!"
"What is he dreaming about?"
She shook her head and dismissed the nature spell.
"I thought [Medusa Seeds] wouldn't have any effect on a mage, but it seems I was wrong."
She nodded in enlightenment and splashed a bottle of cold water on Abium's face.
Meanwhile, Abium woke up from the dream and almost shouted at Helena with red eyes.
In truth, Abium woke up in a room filled with naked ladies and was completely captivated by their beautiful structures!
He had never seen so many lovely ladies in his past life and became overwhelmed.
What was more shocking was that he didn't even realize that he was in a dreamland and believed everything was real.
Without delay, he ran towards the luxurious bed and leaped towards the beauties.
But before his face could crash into a beauty's melons, a dam of cold water poured down from the bedroom's ceiling and woke him up in the real world!
As Abium understood his situation, he sucked in a cold breath and gave Helena a piercing glare.
"What the hell was that?" He asked her with slight wariness in his eyes.
What made him more fearful was his action in the dream world.
'Why did I act like some maniac who hadn't seen a woman's body in his life?' Although he didn't have a lover or wife in the past, he wasn't a sore loser for not enjoying his sexual life.
'Haa, the beautiful gaze and seductive skills of Lady Myres… I became her secret lover and ruined my youthful days. If not for Myres's involvement in my life, I might have had a good life in the past.' He couldn't help but smile wryly.
