Chapter 168: Mysterious Spell Model

"Hmm, I have an idea. If we do that, Aliza will obey all of our commands like a slave in the future." Lavada said with a wicked grin on her face.

Meanwhile, Aliza shivered continuously like a frightened cat and unconsciously started to back away a few steps. But soon, she found those bandits had already surrounded her, leaving no room for her to escape.

"What is it, miss?" Rudie, who stood behind Keith, asked in curiosity.

"First, we will tie both of her hands using a long rope. Then, we tie the other end of the rope to our ship. We will drag her to Wadel Kingdom's Light church in seawater." Her words caused everyone to frown.

"Miss Lavada, I don't understand your plan. What if she got eaten by some sharks on the way? How can we get the bounty money from the Light church if she somehow dies in the midway?" Keith quickly gave a suspicious look and asked.

"Don't misunderstand. We will always monitor this slave from above. Even if she falls deep into the seawater, we will save her using lifeboats." After hearing her reply, Keith breathed a sigh of relief and nodded reluctantly.

"I thought you were going to kill her. But still, I heard there are many mysterious sea monsters in this sea, Miss Lavada." Keith didn't want to bet his future on this crazy lady and warned.

"Hmm? Don't you have any confidence in our Drake and Black skull pirate crew members?" Lavada asked him with a chuckle and urged the other pirates to get their belongings sooner. She knew that necromancer would be on his way to this town and decided to escape before he could reach here!

"No, miss! I have absolute confidence. Rudie, go and tie her to the large ship." Keith gave an apologetic bow to Lavada and shouted.

"Yes, Boss." Rudie walked near the frozen Aliza and grabbed her neck. Then, he dragged her to the shoreline and tied her hands with a long rope. Then, Rudie moved to one of the large ships using a rowboat and tied the other end of the rope to the Drake Pirate ship's Afterdeck. Then, he returned to the shore, moved closer to Aliza, and smiled at her.

Meanwhile, she didn't say anything and stood there with a dull expression. Despair and hopelessness filled her mind.

At that moment, she felt that her life would be over soon!

Even if Aliza untied the rope now, she knew she wouldn't have the slightest possibility of escaping from this situation. Fear crept into her heart. A few moments later, a deep hatred formed towards all these pirates and bandits.

Then, the hatred started to fade from her heart and was replaced with pure vengeance.

Like a spark appeared in a dark room, a dark crystalline spell model suddenly appeared in her mind.

That crystalline spell model was filled with runic characters and looked mysterious in her mind. But she didn't care about the appearance of the strange crystalline spell model.

At that moment, she knew what she had to do without anyone's explanation.

"Listen." A chilling mutter came out from Aliza's mouth as her amber eyes turned pitch black color.

"Hmm? You still have the energy to speak?" Rudie smiled at her mockingly and kicked her stomach.

After hearing the lady pirate's earlier words, the worry of being scolded by his boss had disappeared completely.

Aliza fell but was unfazed by Rudie's kick. She stared back at him with a motionless face and continued.

"Listen carefully to my words, Rudie. I am going to give you a parting gift." She paused.

"From now on, you will be my slave." Unknowingly, she spoke in a nether language!

Upon hearing those strange words, Rudie's whole body stiffened up.

He felt that a heavyweight appeared in his chest.

Before he could say any words to her, Aliza commanded him in an authoritative tone.

"Give back my family heirloom."

Subconsciously, Rudie moved his hand towards his pant pocket and returned the heirloom to her.

'Why am I following her orders?' He stared at his hand, which suddenly returned to his control, and shivered a bit.

'Demon! She is a demon!' He was about to shout back, but another order came out of Aliza's mouth.

'Hehe, yes, I am a demon. I forbid you from speaking any word about me from now on.' This time, Rudie didn't see her lips moving, but he could hear her voice in his mind.

'H-HOW?!' Rudie tried to shout but couldn't move his lips. It was tightly sealed.

He felt his whole body was under somebody's control.

'Now, this is another order from your master, Rudie. Kill your boss before dusk; otherwise, you will die.' Aliza's Ice-chilling voice echoed inside Rudie's mind and caused him to stare blankly at her in fear.

'B-But h-how could I be able to kill him? B-Boss is a fifth-tier warrior!' He screamed inside his mind. For the first time, he felt terrified.

'It's an order. I don't know how you will accomplish that but remember one thing. You must kill Keith before dusk arrives.' Aliza looked at Rudie and turned back towards the Devil Sea.

In the meantime, Nobody noticed Aliza's odd behavior.

Like a statue, Rudie also stood on the spot while trembling all over and quietly backed away.

Meanwhile, Aliza started to observe her surroundings and turned her attention to the mysterious rune letters inside her mind.

'With my remaining spirit power, I can enslave one more person!' She shifted her gaze towards the pirate lady but instantly shook that thought.

'My odds of successfully controlling her is almost zero. Other pirates will also notice something was amiss if I enslave her now.' Aliza sighed helplessly. But deep inside, she was slightly surprised by her intense cold emotions.

Meanwhile, all the pirates got their belongings from the town and boarded the ships. Lavada, Brink, and others boarded their ships within a few minutes to set sail.

Splash!

The rope suddenly pulled Aliza into the sea, dragging her into the deep seawater. The saltwater entered her mouth, ears, and eyes, but Aliza gritted her teeth and endured.

In a few minutes, she noticed her breath started ragging, and her whole body began to feel numb due to pain.

'I have to endure it till dusk. Although the mysterious spell model seems powerful, I can only cast this spell two times.' She thought to herself. She could have used it on Lavada or some other pirates, but she knew one misstep could lead to her death.

'I will not let these mere pirates kill me.' She bit her lips and started to wait for the dusk with a weak smile.

Meanwhile, Rudie stood there with a blank face on the shoreline and watched the two large pirate ships disappearing into the sea.

'Finally, that demon is gone! I should tell this to the boss quickly.' Rudie shifted his gaze towards Keith and was about to shout but stopped.

Not because he was afraid of Aliza's warning but because he couldn't. He couldn't say a word about Aliza for some odd reasons!

'W-What the hell is this?! Even that necromancer never did something like this in the past.' He was scared shitless inside. Unknown to Rudie, some black lines formed around his heart and crept deep into it.

The next instant, he felt his heart begin to ache, and he was shaken to the core.

"What's got into you, Rudie?" Keith, who noticed his odd behavior, turned his attention towards him and asked with a frown.

"N-Nothing, boss," Rudie replied with a stutter.

"Don't worry! See? They have long gone. We will get our money in a week; come on." Keith said with a smile, turned around, and walked back towards the town.

'All I have to do now is wait here. Once the pirates return Aliza's bounty money, I will ditch these guys somewhere and move to Wadel kingdom.' Keith felt relaxed inside. Thıs text ıs hosted at NoveIF

...

It was almost 6 pm.

Dusk arrived.

Two ships pierced through the dark blue water and quietly moved in the northern direction. The ship on the right side had a white dragon skull symbol flag, while the left ship's flag had a human skull. Both flags fluttered on the masts fiercely due to the sea wind and welcomed the darkness.

On the Drake Pirate ship's front deck, a few people stood there solemnly and looked at the brown-haired lady with questionable gazes. She had a slim curved body, almond black eyes, and thick eyebrows. She was none other than Lavada.

"Why did you shamelessly lie to Keith, Lavada?" Brink stood at the tip of the front deck, gazed at her with his arms folded, and asked. He could tell that her behavior was completely abnormal and felt something was wrong.

"He lied to us. If not for his misinformation, Gibson wouldn't be dead and turned into some undead." Lavada's tone was vicious, which made Brink frown deeper. It was the first time he had seen her becoming angry like this.

"But what did that innocent girl do? Why did she have to go through torture like this?" Zita, who had kept her mouth shut, couldn't help but ask in puzzlement. If they had just handed over this girl to the Light Church, their whole crew wouldn't have to do pirating for the rest of their life.

"Humph. I want to let that necromancer feel how painful it is to lose someone precious to him." Her eyes went icy cold.
