"Ugh, help!" Aliza knew that shouting wouldn't do anything good in this situation. But still, she shouted with all her strength. The next second, Aliza was instantly pulled into the Devil Sea.
She felt a sharp pain in her left leg. Scarlet blood gushed out from her leg and dyed the surrounding seawater red, attracting the other marine carnivorous fishes.
'Damn it! I must live.' She gritted her teeth and thought of casting the mysterious spell on it.
Even at that moment, her mind analyzed everything calmly. Without wasting any time, she turned her attention toward the monstrous shark and cast a single mysterious spell on it.
Buzz!
The surrounding seawater vibrated a little, and soon a change appeared around the shark.
In a blink, she felt that some connection had formed between herself and the monstrous shark.
'Go to the surface.' Aliza ordered in the shark's mind and moved her tied hand towards the shark's mouth.
Within seconds, the Sanguis Shark moved towards the surface water, opening its wide mouth and allowing her to take a deep breath.
At that moment, Aliza knew that somehow she could talk with the Sanguis Shark and got relieved.
Although she wouldn't be able to enslave any other being due to her less spirit power, this shark's strength would be more than enough for her to help survive this predicament.
Splash!
Once the shark reached the surface, Aliza coughed up all the salt water and started breathing heavily.
Simultaneously, she moved her tied hand towards the shark's sharp teeth and cut down the ropes before freeing herself.
After that, she took a deep breath and tried to remove her pierced left leg from the shark's sharp teeth.
ARHHH!
"Damn it! It hurts!" She squeezed her eyes shut and shouted in pain. After a whole minute of struggle, she finally managed to remove her leg from the Sanguis Sharp's teeth and heaved a deep sigh. But the next instant, her whole body stiffened up.
Splash!
At that moment, a fish with large jaws flew from the water and moved towards her head to bite.
'F*ck!' She quickly jumped down from the shark's mouth and evaded the attack. But she soon saw other fishes with sharp teeth starting to move towards her from all directions and went pale.
"SAVE ME!" Aliza screamed in a shaky tone.
Upon hearing her order, the twelve-meter-long Sanguis Shark went underwater and started to inflate its body with more water, releasing a strange signal in the air.
A second later, all the small-sized fishes and the other carnivorous fishes froze for a moment and started swimming like they had met their predator.
Meanwhile, Aliza was dumbfounded by the sudden change and breathed a sigh of relief. After glancing around at sea warily, she moved her hand and legs and started swimming towards the rowboat, which was now floating upside down.
Once she arrived near the rowboat, she flipped the boat with the help of Sanguis Shark and slowly climbed into it.
Then, she took a rope from her spatial ring and tied it tightly with one of the shark's fins. After that, she tied the other end to the broken rowboat.
Afterward, she sealed the small hole in the rowboat using a leather cloth and slowly shifted her attention to the wound.
'I must stop the bleeding; otherwise, these fishes will rip me into shreds.' She shivered at the very thought.
Then, she took a white cloth and medicinal herbs from her spatial ring and applied the medicinal herbs to the wounded area. Once she did that, she tore a white cloth and wrapped it around the wounded area.
"All done."
Nodding, she shifted her gaze towards the direction where those two large ships were moving far away and sighed heavily.
'I don't think they will come after me.' Aliza's pitch-black eyes peered at those two dots and quickly checked where the Pirate town direction was.
'Wait a minute! Which direction is that Pirate town?' Her eyes widened.
'I don't know how to get back to Pirate Town!' She thought of probing the Sanguis Shark's mind using the mysterious spell model and closed her eyes.
Alas, she got no answers. All she found out in the Sanguis shark's memories was killing and eating.
'Ha! I think I have to wait for other ships.' She consoled herself.
Before she could think further, the weather started to change in the sky. Within a few minutes, dark clouds started gathering and forming into one monstrous dark cloud.
'A storm is coming!' She cursed at her rotten 'luck' and signaled the shark to move in a random direction. As the clouds started to block the sun, she couldn't even guess the right direction.
'I don't want to die alone in the sea.' She closed her eyes and muttered in grief.
Sea waves started to become fiercer and almost drowned the rowboat multiple times. But Sanguis shark saved her life and protected her from many carnivorous fishes. It was already an hour or two, but the storm wasn't decreasing.
"Hey buddy, if not for your help, I might have already died." She muttered slowly. Tears flow out of her eyes without knowing her. Then, she grabbed the rope tighter and braced herself for the assault of the giant waves. But these waves didn't make her mind break.
In truth, she resolved to face this hard trial and succeed.
…
Pirate Town,
It was around 5.30 in the evening.
The setting sun had turned the blue sky a brilliant orange, then soft pink merging to a pearl; the plum velvet of night had come out of the east, spangled with stars.
'Dusk has arrived,' Rylan muttered while gazing at the west.
He stood outside the gate and glanced around the woods with calm eyes.
After some time, he suddenly caught some movements on the western side and squinted his eyes.
"Hook, did you see that?" Rylan instantly unsheathed his broadsword and signaled Hook to get ready.
"Hm? What is it?" Hook, who now stood while daydreaming, opened his eyes and asked in annoyance.
Crack!
"Are they goblins? Why are there more monsters coming to the town these days?" Hook furrowed his eyebrows and got prepared for any unexpected attacks.
Crack! Rustle!
"Shh! Did you hear that? It's not goblins! Get ready to ring the warning bell." Rylan thought something was amiss and urged Hook. But before Hook could walk a few steps towards the bell, a buzzing sound came from the woods.
Swoosh!
Like a streak of lighting, a metal arrow flew from the woods and pinned Hook's shoulder on the wooden gate.
Arghhh!
"Enemy!"
Rylan shouted in horror and soon noticed fifty figures coming out of the woods.
'Who are they?' Rylan racked his brain and soon guessed that these people must be the newly-titled Baron and his retainers.
'But how did they know about our Pirate Town's location?' While pondering, he saw a dark skeleton knight walking after those people and became shocked.
'F*ck! When did the necromancer start working with this newly-titled Baron?' A chill went up to his spines.
As he was about to shout and warn others, the dead creeper vines from the nearby bushes crept towards his legs and grabbed him from every side. In the next second, one of those vines wrapped around his body rapidly and tightened his neck like a snake.
"Done! Shall I kill them?" Helena walked out from the left side woods and asked as she gazed at Abium.
"Nah! Tie both of them. Once we take control of this town, we will deal with these guys."
Shaking his head, Abium spoke calmly and walked forward.
Meanwhile, Helena glanced at the two gatekeepers and snapped her fingers. A second later, multiple tiny needles emerged from the vines' stems and stabbed into their skins.
The next instant, white foams came out of their mouth, and they fell with a thud.
Meanwhile, Abium pushed the three-meter tall wooden gate and walked into the town.
"Hm? is this the pirate town? But why do I feel only a few pirates are roaming inside this town?" Helena asked in a silvery tone as she followed after Abium with fast footsteps and narrowed her azure eyes.
Lisa and Sara also followed after Helena and Abium, unsheathed their weapons, and nodded their heads in agreement.
At that moment, Camilla flew away from Helena's shoulder, pointed her tiny finger at the nearby shop while flapping her small wings, and shouted excitedly.
"Sis, Look! Look! They are selling sweets!"
Upon hearing her shouts, multiple shopkeepers, slaves, and even the pirates shifted their gaze and gave them a curious look.
But before anyone could say anything, Murius dashed forward, grabbed a lean pirate's neck, and asked in a cold tone.
"Do you know where the bandits are staying?" Murius gripped the pirate's neck tighter and urged while emitting immense killing intent.
In the meantime, the nearby Pirates were startled by Murius's action and started taking out their weapons.
'Oh? He seems to be more anxious about losing her. Is Aliza his daughter? Or a close relative?' He soon shook his head and spoke with a sigh.
"Mr. Murius, don't scare him. Otherwise, you might not even get useful information from these pirates."
Upon hearing his words, Murius calmed himself down and retracted his killing intent while releasing the pirate from his hand.
Cough! Cough!
"S-Sir, P-Please! Please don't kill me. T-They are staying in the manor near the harbor." That pirate replied while trembling and hurriedly ran away.
