"Good! Let's go, Baron. I need to rescue Aliza from those bastards first." Murius said and moved towards the harbor.
Abium and others nodded their heads and followed after him. Abium also got some information about the pirate battle, which happened before the dark tower, and learned that pirate groups had already been defeated.
Although everything was within his expectations, he didn't expect the necromancer to show mercy to those pirates.
'If he had killed them, things would become easier for me in the future. Moreover, why did the bandits capture Aliza? Did they find out about her true identity?' Abium sighed at Aliza's rotten luck and wondered what to do with both of them.
'Should I kill them or let them free?' He had pondered this several times and finally felt that capturing these two future criminals would be the best choice.
Meanwhile, Azolla instantly opposed his idea and continued her advice like a nagging grandmother.
'Kid, why are you always thinking of killing all the necromancers? Listen! They are also human like you. Because of their hardships and siding with 'death' power, they became cold personality people.'
'Okay! I will listen to you this time.' Abium finally surrendered. While discussing with Azolla, Helena moved closer to him and whispered in his ears.
"What are we going to do with the pirates? All of them are following us and showing open hostility."
Abium also observed their movements for some time and coldly snorted. Although there were around fifty pirates following them stealthily, most were second-tier warriors and below.
"Leave them for now. First, I want to see the moron who dared to kidnap a girl who was under a first-tier necromancer's protection." Abium felt pity for the bandits. Even in the past, he managed to kill only a few first-tier necromancers.
'Moreover, I succeeded in those missions because of the help of many other warriors.' He began to recall those incidents.
Meanwhile, the group walked across many shops and arrived at the town square. Then, they turned left and went ahead towards the harbor.
After walking for another five minutes on the street, they arrived at the intersection. The street road splits into two mud roads — one connected directly to a large two-storied building at the end while another path directly leads to the sea.
Abium and others shifted their gaze towards the two-storied building and stepped forward.
The large building was almost 10 meters in height that stood a few hundred meters away from the seashore. Many brick houses were built on the sides of the mud road and looked orderly.
The group crossed those brick houses in a few seconds and arrived in front of the two-storied manor. There was no one standing outside, even to guard the building. Abium heard loud laughter and shouts from inside as he walked near the entrance.
"Go!" Murius seemed to have recognized the voice and furiously ordered his three dark knights to destroy the entrance door. The door was made of hard metal and stood firmly like a mighty wall. But that didn't stop those three dark knights.
Bam!
All three of those skeletons kicked the two-meter tall door in unison with a loud bam.
Creak! Creak!
Soon, the nearby bricks started to break, and slowly the metal gate fell, leaving a loud thud behind.
"Who dares?" Keith's rough voice came from the main hall. He held an ale bottle in his hand and stood up from the large sofa-like couch with a flustered face. Meanwhile, other bandits also stood up unsteadily and looked towards the entrance with wary looks.
Rudie was the only one who stood with a steady expression and backed away with fear as he saw Murius's arrival.
'I have to escape before anyone notices me.' Rudie's brown eyes vigilantly scanned the surroundings and quickly moved towards the back exit.
Meanwhile, Keith squinted his eyes and soon noticed who broke into the house.
"Hm? Undead?"
He glanced at the undead skeletons for a second and shifted his gaze towards the entrance gate, where Murius was standing with an icy stare.
"Keith! Where is Aliza?" A cold voice came from Murius's mouth as Keith's gaze landed on him.
Upon hearing the familiar voice, every bandit, who stood in the hall, took a step back and broke into cold sweats. They stared at Murius with a dumbfounded look on their faces. Their whole body shook briefly, and everyone's faces became pale.
"H-How? L-Lord M-Murius?! H-How come you are still alive?" Keith's face stiffened up.
After hearing Lavada's words, he completely believed her words and thought that the two infamous pirates had already killed Murius.
'Did she lie to me?' His palms began to sweaty. As he was about to order his men to attack Murius, his almond dark brown eyes suddenly became less focused. He could see that darkness was starting to block his vision and got startled.
'What is this? Why am I feeling dizzy?' Keith looked around to search for Rudie but couldn't find him anywhere.
At that moment, his expression froze.
'Where did he go?' He glanced around his surroundings but couldn't find that fatty at all.
At that moment, one lean bandit started to stumble and fell. Although he opened his mouth to say something, no words came out. Soon, white foam came out of his mouth; his body started to twitch and became motionless.
He died in mere seconds!
Thud! Thud! Thud!
Only by one, all other bandits started falling, leaving Keith alone in the hall.
"Lord Murius! I now regret-" Before Keith could finish his words, Murius gave him a cold glance and snapped his finger.
The next instant, a ray of gray light came out from his hand and directly went towards Keith's head.
Bang!
Like a watermelon, his head exploded, leaving the only headless body behind.
After that, Murius shifted his gaze toward all the other bodies and started to frown.
"Where is that fat guy?!" He spoke out loud, but no answer came back.
'Did he escape right under my nose?' His dark green eyes sharpened. He released his spirit power the next instant and searched for him nearby. But after some seconds, he sighed helplessly and walked towards the outside.
"Where are you planning to go?" Abium asked while gripping his sword hilt.
Meanwhile, Murius also sensed a slight hostility in Abium's tone and halted his footsteps.
"Don't worry, Baron. I don't have any plans to stay here in your territory." Murius said coldly.
"Also, I have a piece of advice for you. If you want to live longer, don't participate in the upcoming Coronation Ceremony."
As he finished his words, Murius walked out of the house and disappeared.
'He left without causing any trouble.'
Abium let out a deep sigh, quietly turned around, and shifted his gaze towards the paved road.
At that moment, he saw many pirates gathered a little bit away from the manor's entrance and spoke coldly.
"Listen up, everyone. From now on, this whole Alastall territory is under my control. If you want to live here, you must obey my orders." His words instantly infuriated all the surrounding pirates.
A second later, a lean guy dashed forward to attack Abium, but Helena stepped forward and blocked him using her sword.
Next, she manipulated the nearby ornamental vines, bounded the lean pirate's body using them, and swiftly slit his neck.
Before other pirates could understand the situation, the pirate slowly fell, staining the paved road in scarlet blood.
