Chapter 73: Escape Arc: One
That night Beatrice came and got Lacy, it was later in the evening when the hospital had shut down, and all were supposed to be asleep. Together they went to Josh’s room, and then they went to Daniella. Beatrice led the trio to the cafeteria and from there, she opened a hatch per a key she had on her.
She waved for the Omegas to climb down the ladder with her following shortly behind. She landed next to them and then pulled put her cellphone, turning the flash light on.
Beatrice stepped in front of the Omegas and led the way down the tunnel. It was mostly darkness except for the artifical light that came from the phone. Silence filled the tunnel, no one dared to say a word, too afraid they’d get caught.
Beatrice looked both ways and then turned into another tunnel. Lacy began to have thoughts asking her whether this was a good idea or not. She had just met Beatrice just a few short months ago and here she was being led down a tunnel to who knew where.

The truck drove off, kicking up dust as it road off, making a u turn and heading back to Hoshimura. The Omegas exchanged looks.

The three walked on the trail with very little light. It was close to sunset, and the Alpha hadn’t told them just how long it would take for them to reach the hatch. They stopped to rest every hours and by the six hour of walking, they saw a shack.

They came up on the other end inside a backroom of the ice cream parlor. They looked around and saw there was a note on the door that said money was on the desk and to use the phone to call for a cab, and order the cab to take them to the following address.
"Got it!" Josh yelled. He had written the address down on a piece of paper and placed it in his back pocket. The note on the door, also said Welcome to Ashley, Hinami. "We did it!" He said, looking back at his friends.
The three of them hugged each other and left the office. The ice cream parlor was closed since it was almost dawn. They stepped out onto the curve and followed the instructions. The cab driver came in about a thirty minute wait and spoke to them about the city.
It felt inspiring to see an Omega behind the wheel without an Alpha escort. It was sad they had to leave everything behind especially Aurora, but Lacy hoped one day, she would be able to get her back.
Josh turned to his friend and took her hand. "Are you okay?"

The cab honked its horn when it stopped in front of a upper middle class home in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It was too stories and made out bricks with a brown privacy fence.
