Chapter 77: Escape Arc: Five

Chapter 77: Escape Arc: Five

"Today we are in the city of Ashley in Hinami. Like the rest of Hinami, this too is a city of choice for many Omegas on the run," the interviewer of the documentary said.

Samantha and Salmona were sitting on the couch with little Aurora eating her peanut butter and jelly sandwich for her after evening snack. It was cut up into pieces so it was easier on her hands and mouth.

She finished her little snack and Salmona picked her up and got her ready for bed. Samantha paused the movie so Salmona wouldn’t miss it.

For the past five minutes, they started to watch a documentary on a streaming service about Omegas who run away and go to the province of Hinami.

"I’mma pop some pop corn!"

Salmona went into the kitchen and placed a bag into the microwave. She clicked the button for three minutes and then came out with the bag. She placed it into a large white bowl, the house smelling like popcorn, and she walked to her sister.

The two sat side by side as Samantha turned the television on and ate the treat.

"Here in Ashley, we see a large city with numerous opportunities for Omegas when they come here. We are going to be meeting up with a few of these Omegas to get their point of view."

The host of the show walked down a large metropolitan street and came to a ramen restaurant. Inside was a restaurant that had a color pallete of red and back. It was packed to the brim with customers: Alphas, Betas, and Omegas.

The host found a group of Omegas sitting over to the side, a table of four. "Do you mind if I sit here?"

The Omegas: two females and two males looked up and giggled. They scooted over for the host to grab a chair and sit down.

"By the cameras being here, Im sure you can guess this is a documentary!" The Omegas laughed again. "Tell me, what brought you to Hinami?"

One of the Omegas who looked about nineteen wiped his face with a napkin, and covered his mouth with his hand before speaking. "My brother."

"Brother?"

"Yes, an Alpha."

"Where are you from?"

"The province of Takamire. Its so strict. I couldn’t do anything. They plop you in a school when you go through puberty and you’re there until eighteen," he exclaimed, brushing his hair to the side with his hand.

"And depending on when you start puberty, you can be there for long time," said another Omega, but female and stylish. She had on a name brand shirt with a gold necklace, hanging loop earrings, her hair jet black and wavy, with slicked down baby hair.

"You can’t even leave the house without an escort and if you’re out by yourself and you’re in heat, you have to mate with the Alpha if they request. Divorce is illegal and you mate for life," the male Omega added.

"And they have hospitals where they send Omegas to teach them how to be submissive and take beatings."

"Oh wow!" The host was actually surprised by this and disgusted.

The Omegas nodded their heads.

The host walked to the office county to speak with the representatives and lawyers who often help with paperwork and documents concerning Omegas who seek a new life.

He walked up the stairs and tapped on the door of an Alpha wearing a blue suit and black dress shoes.

"Come on in, here, have a seat."

The host sat down and crossed his legs. "So what number of Omegas do you estimate come here yearly?"

"Ooo," said the Alpha, ducking his tie. "I would say about five thousand a year."

"Wow, five thousand," the host watched as the Alpha nodded his head.

"Its an easy process. They’re coming from one province to another, we’re all in the same country, you know. So as long as they know their identity number then we can easily look em up, look to see if anyone filed a missings person report on them, send them copies of their Ids and such."

"So..." the Beta host continued. "If an Alpha in one of the provinces has a missing Omega who is here then what? Do you notify them?"

"No. Our Omegas are free here and we only agreed to become a province of this country if our Omegas remained free in our territory. We have a rich history and culture. Many of us are from an ethnic group that believed and still believes in equity."

The host closed the door from the office. He turned to the camera. "Come with me as we learn more about the history of Hinami."

The host was walking in a museum, looking around and analyzing the dozens of art that ranged from paintings, to sculptures, to sketches, to wardrobe, and imagery.

The camera did a close up of one such image showing a family of an Alpha and Omega and their children, a picture about two hundred years old.

"We are at one of the most visited museums here in Ashley, a museum founded by a pack that still has an influence on the province today," he said toward the camera.

An Omega walked up to him and shook his head. The two walked through the museum together, looking at the art. They found a bench for them to sit on.

"Hinami was founded by the Wolf Soul Pack thousands of years ago, a pack who’s culture was that in which all three genders were connected to one entity, their God. They were equal under this God’s eyes and their life’s goal was to submit to this God."

The camera panned in and out of imagery and video footage that reflected this history. There was even a holy book that was in the museum that spoke of the stories written in it.

The host and museum worker stood at the holy text where the museum worker mentioned many of its tales.

"One story that sticks out is the story of the three siblings. They each were jealous of the other, stating the parents favored one over the other when in reality, the parents loved them all just the same. There was a mass flood with the siblings getting swept under. They could have easily survived had they swarm to the top, but because of their jealousy for one another, they grabbed and pulled at the other like grabs, preventing each other from coming up for air. Of course, all three died, their parents losing all three children," the worker said to the host.

Samantha walked into the gym early that morning. She was already in her work out clothes and would change into her suit clothes after her session.

She started out doing her typical work out routine which was only about forty minutes. She found herself seeing on a bench in the sauna with a towel drapped around her waist.

A Beta woman entered, a towel covered her entire body. She nodded at Samantha and sat down across from her in a corner.

Samantha kept her hand lowered, in her own thoughts wondering where Lacy was at. What she was up to. Watching that documentary opened her eyes. 5000 Omegas every year sought refuge in that city alone. And Lacy may have been one of them.

"You seem so sad."

Samantha looked up at the Beta and gave the woman a small smile. "I just...have a lot on my mind, is all."

"Well, you can tell me."

Samantha shook her head at the unknown woman, not wanting to tell some random woman that the Omega she was mated to had run away to Ashley.

The Beta moved closer to Samantha, rubbing her thighs. "How about I make you feel better in other ways?"

The woman slid the towel from Samantha’s waist and placed her index finger in between Samantha’s pussy lips, feeling for the sleeping clit.

Samantha kept her head down, looking at the hand but nothing was happening. She wasn’t getting aroused, wasn’t getting hard. The Beta was taken by surprised and leaned against the bench. Too bad because she found this Alpha to be extremely handsome.

"Wow, you must be feeling really, really down," she said to Samantha, who said nothing back.

The Alpha got up and left the sauna. Did other Alphas feel like this when their mate left? Lost and confused.

She went to her locker after taking a shower and got dressed. Her suit was sharp and cleaned as she walked to her car with her suitcase and backpack. To her, life wasn’t even worth living without Lacy and she felt bad for saying that giving Aurora was still around.

She got into the car and stepped on the pedal. She didn’t care how much or how long it took, she would win Lacy back. Swim across every ocean, fly through all the clouds. Wish upon every star, she would win Lacy back. Even if it took all of eternity.
