With unmatched ferocity, he charged forward, matching the Susanoo's mighty strikes with a whirlwind of devastating punches.
While Boros could recover almost endlessly, the Susanoo lacked any means of healing. In a prolonged head-on clash, the colossal armor began to lose ground. Each full-powered blow from Boros left damage that could not be undone. The first casualty was the tengu armor, shattered open to reveal a gaping wound. Soon after, the Thousand-Armed Buddha shell protecting the Ten-Tails began to crack, the fractures spreading quickly.
This was already the most formidable Susanoo Shinji could summon, yet Boros' strength still forced it backward. The towering figure, over a kilometer high, staggered under the overwhelming force of Boros' meteor-burst power, retreating step by step.
Just before it could crash into the Divine Tree, Shinji maneuvered it aside. But that movement left him dangerously exposed.
"Got you!"
With sharp, veteran instincts, Boros seized the opportunity. He launched his most explosive punch yet, a strike that blasted through the Susanoo's torso. The shockwave erupted from its back, rippling across thousands of meters.
Because of the Susanoo's immense size, the force dispersed at an altitude of hundreds to thousands of meters, stretching across several thousand to nearly ten thousand meters in length. The ground below remained untouched, sparing those who stood there.
Shinji, anticipating the impact, activated intangibility at the very last moment. Without it, his body would never have withstood Boros' full-force strike.
Boros panted heavily, his chest rising and falling.

Realizing something was wrong, Boros reacted instantly. He rushed forward to interrupt the process before it could be completed.

Four shadowy figures appeared at once, intercepting his path. Boros barely slowed. He ignored their strikes, refusing to heal his wounds, and pushed forward, dragging his battered body to deliver a flying kick aimed directly at Shinji. Yet his leg passed straight through Shinji's body as if it were an illusion.
At that same moment, Shinji completed the absorption of the Divine Tree. Raising a hand, he removed something from his forehead. A blood-red eye patterned with nine tomoe opened in its place: the Rinne Sharingan.
