Chapter 287 Min Hang's Sacrifice
Ye Shengsong truly didn't stop. The thought of Xiao Tiantian made her want to kill Han Yuyan. She hadn't even considered killing anyone when she was kidnapped by Han Yuyan, but seeing Xiao Tiantian lying weakly on the hospital bed, she simply couldn't forgive someone with such malicious intentions.
Han Yuyan's screams didn't stop. The Bai family members also rushed over. Upon hearing Han Yuyan's identity, they all went to vent their anger.
Even Bai Granny, a lady from a prominent family, wielded a broom and beat Han Yuyan with all her might.

Ye Muen immediately pulled his sister into his embrace, fearing she might be frightened. However, his gaze towards Han Yuyan grew colder.
Han Yuyan, however, lay on the ground and smiled at Ye Shengsong, his face showing no hint of pain.
"Shengsong, you can break whatever you want, as long as you're not angry. Just don't let me die, because then I won't be able to accompany you."
Zi Yisheng had lost all patience and kicked him again.
Min Hang sighed. If they continued like this, the person would truly die.
"Young Master Zi, stop for a moment. Let me speak with Han Yuyan."
Zi Yisheng glared at Min Hang ungratefully and turned towards the little girl, pulling her from Ye Muen's embrace into his own.
"You weren't frightened, were you?"
Ye Shengsong shook her head, her smile completely gone.
Min Hang took the medical kit and knelt beside Han Yuyan, first setting his bone and then skillfully fixing his wrist.
"Give up. You won't get Ye Shengsong. Why are you still so stubbornly infatuated as before? Why must your life be forever trapped in stubbornness?"
Han Yuyan couldn't see Ye Shengsong because he was blocked. He simply closed his eyes. He was very, very tired. He wanted to sleep and let his dulled mind rest.

Min Hang looked at Han Yuyan, who resembled a dead man, and sighed. He had to save Han Yuyan's life, for the sake of the simple and pure boy he was in his youth.
Min Hang stood up and walked towards Ye Shengsong, bending down as he did.
"Shengsong, this is the first time we're meeting, and it's the first time I'm asking you for a favor. I know Han Yuyan's crime is unforgivable, but he wasn't like this back then. Give him a chance to live, a chance to start anew.
I'll stay and help you from now on. I control the national medicinal materials market. I'll give it all to you as compensation. And for the injured child, I'm willing to take care of her for the rest of her life, to ensure she never suffers any harm again."
Ye Shengsong was indeed soft-hearted, especially unable to bear seeing someone beg her so humbly.
