Chapter 505 Getting Started

"Take him aboard the ship and lock him in a room!" the leader said before I could finish speaking.

At this point, two people from the side approached me.

My gaze swept over everyone present. These individuals were clearly not ordinary people.

Although there had been celebrations earlier, their eyes had never left me, and their weapons remained in a state of high alert.

Had I made any untoward move, they would have immediately shot me dead.

The two men had reached my side, preparing to grab my arms from left and right.

Just then, I lightly tapped the ground with my foot, and in an instant, a faint green light spread outwards.

The area within a fifty-meter radius was now under the coverage of my Shepherd's Power.

The moment their hands were about to touch me, my body flickered, and then faint green daggers materialized in both my hands.

These were conjured by my Shepherd's Power. I raised my hands and exerted force.

Two ghastly wounds appeared simultaneously on the necks of the two approaching men, and the next instant, blood spurted from their necks like a fountain.

This sudden turn of events stunned everyone around.

They had never imagined that with so many people surrounding me, I would dare to resist.

The middle-aged man reacted instantly, lowering his voice: "Criple him. Break his limbs, but remember not to kill him!"

The surrounding firearms were instantly prepared to fire.

At that very moment, my body moved like a phantom, appearing behind the middle-aged man. One hand pressed down on his shoulder, while the other rested on his neck.

I reappeared behind the middle-aged man.

The middle-aged man's body instantly stiffened!

"You... what did you do?" the middle-aged man's face contorted in panic.

The others around were also stunned.

"What just happened? I didn't see anything! How did this guy appear there?"

"Is there something wrong with my eyes? Or am I seeing things? I felt that moment was almost unreal!"

"I feel the same way. What on earth happened? How did it suddenly become like this? I just felt a blur in front of my eyes..."

The surrounding people exchanged bewildered glances; what was happening was beyond their comprehension.

However, I didn't give them much time to think. I placed one hand on the middle-aged man's shoulder: "Tell them to drop their weapons, surrender immediately, and then let me tie them all up!"

"Do you think that's possible?" the middle-aged man asked with a cold sneer.

Before he finished speaking, I exerted force on the hand on his shoulder, and the arm immediately hung limply.

"Ah!" The middle-aged man's expression twisted instantly as he let out a pained wail. "You bastard! I... Ah! It hurts so much... I'm dying of pain!"

The middle-aged man struggled desperately, but my other hand rested on his other shoulder.

No matter how hard he tried, my hand didn't budge an inch!

"What exactly did you do?" the middle-aged man's face was contorted, and beads of sweat the size of soybeans dripped from his forehead.

"Do as I say, or you won't have that other shoulder either!" I said sternly.

At this point, the middle-aged man finally broke: "What are you waiting for? Drop your weapons!"

Hearing this, the faces of those around them also turned grim. A few people dropped their weapons to the ground and raised their hands above their heads.

But more people did not put down their weapons; instead, they fixed their gaze on me.

"Everyone, listen to me. If we drop our weapons, it means we have no possibility of resistance. As long as the weapons are in our hands, we hold the initiative!"

"Exactly. This guy claims to be our boss, but it's useless. As long as we can bring the person back, we'll have completed the mission, and we'll get a big bonus!"

"That's right, why should we give up so much money for one life? His life is precious, but isn't ours too? Everyone listen to me, kill this boss, and then cripple that man!"

Hearing this, the middle-aged man's face turned ashen. "What are you doing? I accepted the mission, you should listen to my arrangements. We agreed on this from the start!"

But no one around answered him. Some people who had put down their guns even picked them back up.

"You must keep your promises! We agreed on this earlier!" the middle-aged man said loudly, his voice filled with panic. In this situation, he no longer cared about the pain in his shoulder.

"Keep promises?" someone suddenly laughed, "How much is keeping promises worth?"
