Chapter 125 Unexpected Matters

We simply cleaned up the supplies in the first tent, organizing them into three large packages.

Just then, a disheveled woman suddenly ran out from the nearby woods. Seeing us, she cried out in surprise, "Great, great, I've finally found you!"

The smell emanating from her was quite unpleasant, like fermented pickled vegetables that had been submerged for half a year.

"Are you also a survivor from this plane crash?" I couldn't help but cover my nose and ask.

If she was from this group, her survival skills were remarkable, managing to live in the wild for three days alone.

"Of course I am! Gulinina, please speak for me!"

Gulinina frowned slightly and whispered in my ear, "This woman is Yu Fenghua, she's one of the scoundrel's subordinates. She disappeared when the Fierce Birds attacked the territory. I never expected her to survive!"

Seeing Gulinina whispering in my ear and glancing at her intermittently, Yu Fenghua panicked.

"Thump!"

She directly knelt before me, clutched my thigh tightly, and cried, "Big brother, I don't want to die! Please save me quickly!"

I watched as her snot splattered onto my pants!

Damn it!

I kicked out.

Yu Fenghua, weakened by days of difficult survival, had no strength left. When I threw her, she tumbled like a fallen gourd, rolling several times.

"You, follow at a distance. Do not approach!"

Although I couldn't stand the smell emanating from the woman before me, she was, after all, the only survivor we had encountered from this massacre.

In the end, I decided to take Yu Fenghua with me, planning to find a safe place to part ways.

As I continued to collect remains in the camp, two more survivors gradually arrived. They were all in a terrible state, and if they hadn't found us, they likely wouldn't have survived another day.

Seeing that there were still people alive, although I didn't show it on my face, I was inwardly quite pleased.

Actually, I had been worried about one thing on the way: Gulinina's wireless transmitter. During the Fierce Birds' attack last night, in the chaos, there was a chance the machine might have been damaged.

Extremely fortunately, when I found Gulinina's tent, I discovered that the wireless transmitter was pressed beneath several packs of instant noodles and was completely undamaged!

This was truly a blessing from heaven!

Those Fierce Birds had charged in and rampaged through the camp. I almost thought this device was lost!

After gathering all the supplies, I didn't leave immediately. Instead, I decided to stay for a night on the west side of the camp.

One reason was that the three women who had found us were not in good condition. Another reason was that we were unsure if there were any other survivors nearby.

The thought was to save anyone we could!

Zhuoya nodded vigorously at my words, agreeing.

Seeing Zhuoya's expression, I felt a little speechless. This girl probably still harbored the idea of finding me more women to have more children with.

But regardless, we all stayed near the camp for a night.

In truth, my hope of finding any more survivors was almost nonexistent.

This was considered doing our best.

However, to my surprise, as I was drifting off to sleep that night, I heard sounds of excited sobbing from outside.

I went out and saw a somewhat familiar back, tightly embracing Gulinina. They were holding each other, and the figure couldn't stop sobbing.

I recognized her – it was the plump woman who had been with Gulinina from the start!

She had quite a resilient life!

My first impression of this woman wasn't good, but I didn't drive her away. In the face of death, I could overlook other matters.

Moreover, I was confident in my methods.

If they dared to cause trouble, I wouldn't be lenient!

By the next morning, we hadn't seen any other survivors. Finally, with our supplies, we set off towards another mountain pass far from the Fierce Birds' nesting grounds.

This time, we had gathered a total of four survivors, not including Gulinina.

To be honest, this number was slightly more than I had anticipated, but it was still within an acceptable range.

The search for survivors by Zhuoya and me had finally come to an end.

I thought that the rest of the journey would be uneventful if we were careful, but something I hadn't expected still happened...

We traveled for a full day to avoid the Fierce Birds' nesting grounds. By the afternoon of the next day, we reached the foot of a mountain and found a shady spot to rest.

Zhuoya expertly started a fire, intending to cook some food.

As I sat on the ground, contemplating our next move, I suddenly heard a startled exclamation from Gulinina's direction.

"Luzi Ye, I've received a signal!"
