Chapter 323 I Must Survive

Gui Du Si spread his hands, his perfect body on full display, as if a god had descended upon the mortal realm.

"Mù Shén above, since you wish to die quickly, I shall grant your wish!"

With that, Gui Du Si appeared before me in an instant, moving with the speed of wind. Even with my current abnormal vision, I could barely keep up.

Standing in front of me, Gui Du Si spread his arms again and delivered another right-hand chop to my shoulder.

This time, I was struck before I could even react.

Having taken two such heavy blows to the same spot, my left shoulder was already severely swollen, and my entire left arm felt weak. If my physique weren't equally monstrous, with bone density that strong, my shoulder would have been shattered!

"You bastard!"

I gritted my teeth, enduring the pain, and threw a punch with my right hand, attempting to force Gui Du Si back.

Though Gui Du Si had suddenly transformed, the wounds I had inflicted on him earlier still remained. He was not invincible!

My attack had no effect. Gui Du Si took my punch head-on, his body not even swaying. He lifted a leg and kicked me in the right ribs.

I felt as if all my internal organs had shifted under Gui Du Si's kick, as if Nezha himself was wreaking havoc within me. I could only endure the pain and quickly retreat, creating distance between myself and Gui Du Si.

Facing my retreat, Gui Du Si did not press his advantage. Instead, he stood his ground and watched me quietly.

"Hahahahaha! It's the first time anyone has been able to fight me like this!"

"And to take two hand chops to the same spot without breaking, I truly underestimated you, Ba Du."

Gui Du Si laughed heartily, then instantly appeared before me, throwing a left straight punch directly at my chest.

*Bang!*

I managed to block the punch with my arms, but Gui Du Si's strength was too immense. My arms swelled with bruises, and I was thrown backward, unable to resist.

This was not the end. Gui Du Si, taking advantage of my unstable stance, delivered another hand chop to my shoulder, striking my wound fiercely!

Three consecutive hand chops to the same spot were more than even my beastly physique could withstand. The onlookers from the Du'an tribe heard a crisp cracking sound. My collarbone had been broken, my shoulder lost its support, and my entire left arm dangled uselessly, unable to be raised again!

After this blow, cold sweat poured from me like water. I trembled violently from the pain, my body swaying precariously!

This is bad!

I knew that if this continued, Gui Du Si would beat me to death. I desperately tried to control my body to defend myself, but my severely injured body showed no response.

"Hahahahaha! Ba Du, why are you so useless!"

Gui Du Si roared with laughter and landed a fierce sidekick to my left ribs, the force of the blow even tearing through my animal hide clothing.

With another sharp crack, my left ribs were broken!

I involuntarily vomited a mouthful of blood, my vision darkened, and the intense pain engulfed me!

It wasn't that I didn't want to block or dodge, but the continuous heavy blows had rendered me unable to react!

This kick also sent my body, which had been leaning to the right, lurching to the left. I lost my balance and fell to the ground.

Gui Du Si did not end my life then. Instead, he laughed loudly, raised his hands, and waved to the watching Du'an tribesmen at the edge.

"Gui Du'an! Invincible!"

"Quickly finish off that impudent fellow!"

"The bravest warrior of the Du'an tribe!"

I forced my eyelids open, watching Gui Du'an laugh unrestrainedly and display himself to the crowd.

He was not human!

He was an ancient, ferocious beast radiating flames of blood!

My eyelids grew heavier, my body sending me dire warnings.

But I knew that if I closed my eyes now, it would mean death!

In a daze, I heard a voice whisper in my ear.

"Do you need strength?"

Awaken!

I was on the brink of death, and I couldn't spare a thought to the source of the voice. With all my might, I shouted in my heart.

"Give me strength!"

"I want to live!"

Smug and triumphant, Gui Du Si walked half a circle around the arena before stopping. He then walked towards me, still laughing.

Suddenly, he seemed to sense something. He abruptly stopped laughing, his expression slowly becoming solemn as he looked in my direction.

The voice gradually faded after my reply, and I could no longer hold on, closing my eyes.
