"Why are you here?" Florienna asked impatiently.
"Nina, I noticed you weren’t replying to my messages, so I thought I’d come check on you..."
Teddy nervously rubbed his palms together, raising his head to look at Florienna’s pale face, which was still recovering from her earlier fright.

He thought she was scared and overwhelmed by the online harassment.
"Why are you here? I just want to be alone for a while," Florienna responded stiffly, already thinking of ways to get Teddy to leave.

Teddy pressed his hand against the door, speaking sincerely, "Nina, I know you’re feeling terrible right now, but I just want to stay with you for a little while, okay?"
